Leah woke up hours later and it was early. Nik lay at the end of the bed and their daughter was still asleep. Watching them she sighed, slowly picking her daughter and walking down towards the kitchen area where she began to make her a bottle. She had her daughter in one hand and shook her bottle in another. She sat on the couch crossing her legs and feeding her daughter from the bottle. She hadn't noticed her husband watching her from the second floor patio. She spoke to her daughter and her daughters mouth twitched as if she began to smile.
"You my sweet Angel are the most precious baby ever, I promise I'll love you forever, my darling Joy I promise you no matter How much mommy and daddy fight or if we don't end up together we'll always love you," she said and Nik sat next to her.
"My love I-"
"Nik please just-"
"No I was with Camille because Mikael is back but I needed to kill him.. again."
"What?" Leah whispered fearing her daughters safety.
"He's back, but it's okay my love I killed him."
"He's back and you didn't tell me but you told her?" She spat looking at him furious.
"Leah it's not like that!"
"Then what is it like-"
"I needed to hear that I should kill him, from her."
"Why her?" Leah demanded and he only sat quietly as his daughter held onto his finger.
"Love-"
"Nik do you love her?" She asked sighing her words forced and her eyes watching her daughter.
"Leah-"
"Yes or no Nik."
"I-I don't know," he spoke honestly watching her.
"Nik I'm going to stay with Rebekah for a little while, I need some space."
"No-"
"Just for a few days, I'll be back and if you want you can come to see Joy whenever you want."
Reluctantly he had agreed and that night she left to go to stay with Rebekah who was currently staying in Atlanta in one of their family homes. Rebekah welcomed Leah and Joy in bliss. She was happy her best friend and her niece would stay with her even if it was for a little while. She explained everything to Rebekah and Rebekah listened and comforted her as she spoke. Leah had stayed with Rebekah for a week now and Klaus had only called twice but she understood how he would be busy. She wondered what her husband would be doing now. Rebekah had taken Joy to the playground not far from their home and leah decided to stay home and do some cleaning. As she cleaned her phone began to ring. Not bothering to see who was calling she answered.
"Leah I'm half an hour from you I want to see you and Joy," Klaus spoke and she nodded.

"Yes that's fine, Rebekah has just taken her to the playground for a stroll."
"Great I'll see you in a little while love."
"See you Nik, I missed you," she spoke and instead of talking to her he cut the call.
She was being furious at him, yet she knew it was her fault since their last conversation ended with a fight. Which no doubt she started over something so small.
Rebekah had come back from her little walk with her niece and she walked in Joy in her arms with a large grin.
"Hey baby, mommy missed you," leah spoke to her daughter, taking her from Rebekah.
"Rebekah, Nik is coming soon," She spoke with a small smile.
"And you're still in sweats, quick get dressed," Rebekah spoke shooing her.
Grinning she ran upstairs and changed into some jeans and a jumper. As she walked downstairs she heard some voices walking towards the door. She was surprised to great more than one person because she thought only Nik was coming. Running downstairs she took her daughter from Rebekah as ever opened the door.
From outside she could hear 3 voices including Rebekah. She hadn't recognised the voice to be anyone they lived with yet it sounded familiar she thought. She walked to the door with joy in her arms and saw Nik standing outside with Cami. That was enough for Leah as she walked back inside slamming the door on her way in. She noticed the door opened once again and heard Nik walking towards her.
"My love how are you-"
"Here, be careful" she said handing Joy to her father.
"You look beautiful," he said watching her as she walked to the other side of the room.
"Enough, I will not stop you from seeing Joy but your mistress will not!"
"Leah She's not my mistress, I just wanted her to meet Joy."
"She will never meet my daughter and if you even bring her near Joy again I'll kill her myself," leah spoke Venom in each of her words.
"She is my daughter too and I will take her to meet Camille," Klaus spoke harshly as his daughter began to cry.
"I do not care, she is not allowed near Joy," leah said walking towards Klaus taking their crying daughter from his hands.
As if on instinct Joy stopped crying as she felt the comfort in her mother's arms. Klaus watched as his wife sat in the chair with his daughter. He could tell how happy Joy made Leah, she made him that happy.
"You're so good with her," Nik spoke admiring guys face.
He could watch her like this for in a long time yet he knew by bringing Cami she wouldn't want to talk to him. Leah hadn't understood that she was in danger and it was his fault.

"Well she is my daughter," she spoke as klaus watched her admiring their daughter.
"My love?" Klaus asked as he watched her her head only met his and her eyes where icy.
He didn't wait for her to respond so he continued, "Maybe you should come home now I miss you."
"Well Nik, I refuse to live under the same roof as you if you're in love with someone else."
She watched hoping he would deny it yet he hadn't that's what angered her even more.
"When did you stop loving me?"
"I've never stopped my sweet Angel."
"Yet you don't deny that you love her," she spoke watching him take his daughter who now lay in the crib.
"My love-"
"Niklaus, when did you start loving the both of us?"
"I do not-"
"Nik," she spoke giving him an obvious look.
"Maybe we shouldn't be together, we can not divorce since our marriage was years ago but we can leave each other."
"No, I refuse to let you leave," he spoke growling towards the end only earning another cry for his daughter.
"Either you leave me or I kill her the next time I see you together," she spoke her tone emotionless.
The last time his wife made a threat like this he hadn't believed her yet she stood to her word. She always did. He hadn't known what to do in a situation like this, he wasn't usually given any ultimatums and he would kill the person who would.
"Nik-"
"I won't see her again, I swore to you I'd love you forever and always and I meant it the vow we promised one another I'd stand by until the day I die and I swear to you I'll never see her again," he spoke watching her and she looked at him shaking her head.
"I don't want you to feel complied to be here for me-"
"No I do not feel complied to, but I want to because you're my wife and I love you, I've been in love with you since we where human, I've wanted a family but only with you because you know you make me better."
He only moved closer to her and put his hand over hers which was placed on the crib. His eyes watched her intently. She watched her daughter but she didn't move her hand she liked him.
"Come home," he muttered and she sighed with a a nod.
"Today?" She asked and he nodded with a grin.
"I changed some stuff around and our room has a nursery," he said with a smirk and she grinned at him.
"Your room."
"Our room," he spoke talking guys daughter once again, but this tune she was calm for the whole time.
Cami had taken a bus back to New Orleans and Klaus was currently waiting for Leah to get all of the baby stuff together. Rebekah sat with her brother and stared at him.
"Are you still angry at me?" He asked watching her.
"Well brother you are still messing around with my sister and-"
"Rebekah please stop, will you hold Joy while I show your brother how to use a car seat," she said and Rebekah took her niece with a smile.
"You do know you've already showed me so I know how to do this," he said remembering the time she shouted at him for not knowing.
"I know, but I also know how much Rebekah loves that little girl and how much she'll miss her," she spoke and Klaus wrapped his arms around her.
"You're not allowed to leave me ever again."
"Maybe when you mess up again," she said teasing him and he only rolled his eyes.
"And We'll see how long that is this time," she said grinning and he scoffed kissing her only she moved back clearing her throat.
"I should get Joy," she spoke and turned around only to see Rebekah bringing their daughter to them with a sad smile.
"I wish you didn't have to leave so soon," she spoke, her tone sad.
"You could always come back home," Leah spoke and looked at Klaus who slightly nodded.
"Maybe I will, I do so miss Marcel," she spoke with a slight smile.
Leah only grinned and Klaus clenched his jaw rather uninterested with the idea of his sister and Marcel together. He hated the idea even more than he hated his mother. Yet he knew the more he discouraged it it would happen.
"Well sister I will see you soon, and you my sweet Angel," Rebekah spoke hugging Leah and kissing her niece on the forehead.
Klaus watched her as leah made her way into the car and as she closed the back door Rebekah looked at him with a small smile.
"Keep her happy Nik, don't keep hurting her, there's so much a woman can take."
Nik showed his sister a small smile and nodded hugging her. No matter how angry he was at Rebekah he'd always love her no matter what. Just like Elijah had told him, as had his wife.
"Nik stay safe," she said smiled at her brother and leaving his embrace and he nodded as he walked into the car and drove out of the drive, driving to their home.
