《The Alpha's Protector》Fourteen

I woke up in a bed. Like an actual bed, not the stone floor of a cell. The room I was in was dark, purple walls and a canopy over a huge four poster bed. The sheets were soft cotton, and I was dressed in a long nightgown. I growled at the thoughts of someone seeing me naked, my hands clenching as I shuddered.
I slid my feet across the bed as I stood up, making my way to the door in front of me. I opened it to find the hallway I had walked down last time I was awake, my eyes darting around to try and find someone, anyone, to tell me why the hell I'm in a room.
A woman in a maids uniform walked around the corner, going rigid when she saw me staring back at her. "Oh goodness, you're awake!"
"No, I'm fucking dead." I said sarcastically.
'Well you are technically half dead.' My wolf spoke to me as the maid widened her eyes. I rolled my own, growling back to my wolf.
"I'll go retrieve the master, someone will be here soon to help you dress." Her voice was quiet, were they all really that afraid of me?
I slowly made my way back into the room I woke up in, grumbling as I looked around. I finally found a bathroom where I washed my face and took a shower, finding it fully stocked with shampoos and oils that I didn't even know what to do with.
I walked out to find another girl in a maids uniform, holding a dark forest green dress in her arms. The color made my heart hurt, Tyler's eyes flashing across my vision.
"Ready to get dressed ma'am?" I furrowed my eyebrows before nodding slowly, closing the distance until I stood in front of her.
The dress was knee length with long sleeves, brown buttons running down the center with a thin tan belt. It clung to my skin, showing off the curves I tried to hide constantly. I refused the nude heels she tried to put on my feet, opting to go barefoot.
I followed her to a dining hall, my eyes settling on my so called father and Damon. David sat next to Damon while a man sat across from both of them, his eyes staring intensely at me. This man was beautiful, with blonde hair and black eyes. His bones were sculpted and pulled taunt, muscles rippling across his forearms and chest.
He was beautiful, but he was not my Tyler.
"Ah, m glitter Leona. Come sit, and meet your beloved." I looked warily at the strange man at the table before sitting down slowly, my body pressed as far away from them as I could.
The man looked pained at my move, his fingers gripping his silverware until his knuckles were ghastly white. "My name isn't Leona, how many times do I have to tell you that!"
He snarled at me, his fist banging on the wooden table. "Your name is not Lena! It is Leona, and you will behave!"

"No! You lost all rights to control me when you left me in the woods when I was six!" Gasps were heard around the table, the man next to me and Damon staring at him.
"You did what?" The god next to me snarled at him, his eyes flashing between black and silver.
"They took you from me, it wasn't me! It was the elders, because you have that goddamn arrow on your wrist!" Damon reached across the table and ripped my sleeve up, exposing the dark arrow on my skin.
They were silent as they stared at my arm, David simply shrugging at my gaze. "Why are you so surprised, your fucking beloved over there is one too. I'm his goddamn boss, or I was before he betrayed all of us!"
"We knew he was, but he never told us you were one as well!" Damon shifted his gaze to David before releasing my arm, the man besides me hand finding its way to clasping onto my own.
"Who the hell are you and why are you touching me!" I snarled at him, hurt and disbelief crossing his face.
"I'm Alec, your beloved." I shot up from my chair, making space between us.
"I have a mate-" he growled, throwing the chair back as it smashed into the wall.
"You are my beloved, you will have no mate!" He stalked to me and crashed his lips to mine, an eruptions of fireworks confusing the hell out of me.
'It's because your half vampire, half wolf. You have one for each part of your soul.'
I pushed him away, earning a another slap to my face from my father. "He is your beloved, you will rule with him by your side."
"What?!" I looked to see Damon standing, his sight set on my father and I. "I'm ruling, we are killing her under the strawberry moon!"
My father sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "If she doesn't make it through this afternoon, then you will."
I was taken aback, what did he mean this afternoon? He saw the confusion in my face, turning and sitting back in his chair. "Sit back in your seat, you'll need the strength."
I sat back down slowly, sniffing over the food they gave me. Bacon and eggs sat in front of me, with a cup filled with a thick red substance. I wrinkled my nose when I smelt it, pushing it farther away from me.
"I'm not drinking this." I said to him, a smirk on my fathers face.
"After this afternoon you will, we'll have to enrage your vampire side and start your blood lust." I inched away, pressing myself deeper into my chair.
"What the hell do you mean start my blood lust!" He grinned, sharing a knowing look with Damon and Alec.
"Let's get started then."
David and Damon walked around the table as they grasped my arms, pulling me out of the chair roughly. I growled as I pulled from their grips, only to be thrown into a room with silver walls. Chains gripped my arms as they pulled me to the wall, burning against my skin as I tried to pull away from the burning silver.

Damon and my father walked in, followed by David and Alec carrying a laptop with a large webcam perched on top. I growled as they smiled at me, placing the laptop on a small table in front of me. They turned it on, showing me on the screen before they plugged the laptop into a large tv.
The tv brightened up as I saw my own face again, the green dress contrasting with my pale skin. A smaller screen opened up in the corner, my eyes widening as the King and Queen came into view.
"Lena!" Ashe shouted as Xander growled, his eyes flirting to my father. "Tyler! Ethan! Come quick!"
My father simply laughed when Ethan and Tyler ran in, their eyes widening when they saw me. "Oh look, a family reunion."
I snarled at Damons words, lunging as far as I could before cringing at the silver. "Lena baby, is that you?"
I nodded to Tyler, his eyes glassy as he stared at me. He placed his hand on the screen, showing full view of a bandage on his neck. I cringed inwardly, my heart breaking when I saw how lost he looked.
"Now, we really must get started. We wouldn't want your entire kingdom to miss seeing how weak your future queen is." Xander snarled as my father spoke, a silver dagger twirling in his fingers.
"Let her go!" Tyler screamed across the webcam, earning a chuckle from my father. He looked directly at the camera, waving the dagger as everyone in the view eyes widened.
"No."
He plunged the knife into my thigh, the sounds of Tyler's shouting filling the room. My father twisted it while Damon walked up and punched me directly in my stomach, causing me to bend over as the air left me.
My father tore the knife out of my thigh before ripping it through my dress, leaving it hanging on my body before he proceeded to cut into my skin little by little. I groaned in pain, his fist connecting with my jaw. I looked up to find Alec standing in the corner with a pained look on his face, causing me to clench my jaw. It sent shockwaves of pain through me as my father took the knife and stabbed it into my shoulder.
I howled in pain as a crash came through the webcam, a flying lamp crossing the large tv screen. Ashe looked horrified as she watched with tears streaming down her face, Ethan and Xander just looked equally as pissed. I turned my gaze back to Alec, a growl leaving me while they just stood there and watched.
"What's wrong beloved, hate to see me hurt?" Tyler roared as he shifted on the screen, a cry form Mariah as she entered the living room. She rushed closer to the screen as Alex held onto her, it seemed almost all of them were watching me now.
Alec refused to look at me, turning to where he stood in front of the camera. His gaze landed on Tyler's all black wolf, grimacing at his harsh gaze. "I am the future King of Vampires, Leona will be my queen," I heard a lot of growls through the tv, a smirk crossing my face. It quickly fell when my father punched me again, and Damon snapped a finger. I groaned, squeezing my eyes shut so tears wouldn't fall.
"We will be releasing her dormant vampire side, this is the last you will see of her." Alec shut off the laptop just as Tyler shouted, his hurt green eyes finding catching mine.
Alec took out a stone dagger, walking quickly in front of me. He looked at my father warily, who nodded to him in response. He slashed the knife across my throats before stabbing it deep into my chest, blood pouring out of my skin as I coughed.
Blood filled my mouth as they released the silver chains on me, my lungs filling with my own blood. I wheezed out as they dragged me somewhere, the cold night air attacking my skin. I tried to speak, think, do something, but all I could do was shake as my own mouth filled up with blood.
I opened my eyes to find the night sky above me, grass below my skin as my father stood over me with Alec. "This is for your own good."
They threw me into a pond or a lake, something filled with red sticky substance. I knew it was blood, the thick liquid dragging my body under. I opened my mouth as it filled me, iron and salt taking over the senses. My eyes opened, burning, something squeezing inside of me.
My lungs burned. My skin itched. Everything ached like I was ran over by a bull. I couldn't do anything, but let my mind wander as I sunk deeper and deeper into this dark red liquid. I felt Tyler in me, inside of my heart and inside of my soul. I called out to him desperately, clawing at the bond to tell him that I wasn't dead.
Something inside of me snapped, and all I could think of was the fact I was I blood. I could hear it rushing around me, the sweet metallic taste, the fact human bodies contain gallons of blood inside of themselves.
I swam my way to the top, falling onto the shore. I heard a two sets of heart beats, two sets of blood rushing through my ears. I looked up and all I saw was veins, veins of David and my father. I licked my blood covered lips, my eyes flashing as I became something I had never before.
I embraced my vampire, and I embraced the fact I wanted blood right now. So I attacked.

Doctored Chance: The Unpleasant Preceding of "Pajama Boy" and What Drove Him to Murder
I, Mick Chadwick, regret to inform my readers that this memoir contains nothing but the truth, which in the case of Tobias MacClain, most ridiculed as Pajama Boy, is far from pleasant. If you seek to relate to a hero more than to aspire to them and have the stomach for unpleasant things such as a hero left for dead, villainous scars, bomb threats, and murderous intent, then look no further. All of these gruesome things and more await from my research, and though I do not wish them on any man or woman, I cannot bear this burden on my own much longer. In the words of Tobias MacClain himself, "Sometimes, a villainous act can cause the greatest good." I hope that all my villainous acts of sneaking, blackmailing, diary-reading, and grave-digging, among others, will be redeemed as I present this complete and truthful memoir to the world, and with any luck, open eyes to the truth of what we call "villainy". Doctored Chance: The Unpleasant Preceding of "Pajama Boy" and What Drove Him to Murder ********* MATURE FILTER IS FOR:- violence- graphic imagery (blood, burns, fairly dark headspaces)- cartoon depiction of burn scars for visual aid Despite graphics, Mick Chadwick's writing keeps Mr. MacClain's terrible tale light somehow. This is foremostly a comedy.

Makemake
"Makemake—a planet that is found in the far edges of the system known as Sol—was once a metropolis, like all of the other planets that populate the system. Now, like all of the others, it lies as a Sleeping City, forever dormant. No one lives there anymore—it has been vacant for years. In one of the massive cities that used to have a population that was in high numbers a sound could be heard. A distant sound. A beep, or a call, a message—whatever it was, it was an electronic noise. It echoed through the dust cloud filled landscape. The sound went on for a long time. It sat in a sea of quiet; no other noise rolled over the hills and bounced off the ground—only that noise. Only that beep."

Thomas the Brawler
Thomas doesn't remember what his last name was, before it became Bluebrim, a name belonging to another universe. He's also pretty sure he wasn't this stupid before he arrived, but what can you do, when a day that was supposed to begin with an interview to set your life back on track instead begins in a universe that makes no sense, with rules you can't begin to understand? Maybe he should have paid more attention to the avatar creation screen ... Content warnings: All of them. Seriously. Expect lots of blue screens to begin with. Don't expect a power-leveling fantasy, in which the lone hero beats up all the bad guys, and gets a harem of women. There's just a guy who treats character creation like an annoying series of pop-up advertisements, and the story is basically the ramifications of that. The main character has to learn to take the world he's found himself in seriously, and he'll learn the way most of us do, by doing it wrong first. This is, insofar as it is successful, a dark comedy fantasy. Also a bit of horror, particularly but not exclusively body horror. I'm pretty sure I've earned those Content Warning tags, so, uh, yeah. This is practice. Hopefully things improve as I go, and figure out what I'm doing wrong, but I make no guarantees things will ever get better. I've already made mistakes, I'll make more, and I'm happy to notice them each time I make them. You don't improve unless you fail. (On the plus side, it probably won't get much worse.) Feel free to point out anything you think I'm doing wrong; I don't promise to change anything, particularly if it's a matter of taste, but I am looking to improve, and figuring out what I need to improve goes faster if I don't have to try to figure it out myself. I've updated the earlier chapters for formatting, in the hope that it would make everything easier to read on mobile devices. Hopefully things work slightly better now, but please let me know if there are any issues anywhere.
