"Ryuga?", said Gen as she expected someone else to battle her.

"Well, wel, well... Gen, it's been a while...(he looks around) So you finally came out of your Eagle boy's nest, huh?", said Ryuga.

"I was never and will not be in a nest, Ryuga...", said Gen in serious.

"You seem serious, let me guess you had a fight with that Tsubasa, isn't it?"

"That's not important, right now...I am trying to keep my promise to you remember?"

"Impressive...So why don't we have a friendly battle? Cause I don't like to get bored....especially when I am with a whinning baby girl...", said Ryuga.

"Guess I have no choice and besides you did refuse my battle at the Babylonia Tower....so... lets battle Ryuga and this time, I will defeat you and make sure you help Gingka and the others....", said Gen as she was gonna launch Accalia.

"That's the spirit I wanted to see but that will happen if you win, Miss Hagane....", said Ryuga as he was ready.

"Looks like Gen Hagane has accepted Ryuga's battle...Who will win is what we are gonna find out right now so let's get this thing on the road...are you ready?", said Blader DJ as the crowd cheered for them.

"I hope Gen can win", said Madoka in fear.

They both launched their beys with maximum power. Accalia hit L-Drago with power.

"You have become stronger than I battled you last time...thats some improvement.... but that doesn't change L-Drago!", said Ryuga as L-Drago started to push Accalia.

"What are you doing here? I thought you never want to hand over your strength to the legendary bladers", said Gen.

"I didn't come here to give up my power. I came here to deal with something else that is not your concern", said Ryuga as L-Drago moves to another side and hits Accalia from behind.

"Something else? What do you mean?", said Gen.

"It's a mission I was given by someone a long time ago", said Ryuga.

"Huh? Someone from the past? Okay, I don't care whatever it is. and besides I need to ask you another question"

"And what might be that?"

"How did you know about the crystal?"

"You mean that cyrstal that makes a person a legendary blader? (Gen shocks) The cyrstal which contains a star fragment of the mother earth?"

"How do you know about that?"

"Is it wrong to know about somethings?"

"Stop avoiding the topic...that piece of information was only known to me and my mother...then how did you know it? Tell me right now!"

"You know you are so annoying...but you know that we have a battle in front of us...lets put it this way...if you win, I will come with you like you said and also tell you how i know about it...deal?"

"Fine by me...which reminds me (smirks) Accalia, Blast Mode!", said Gen as Accalia changes its fusion wheel to the right and hits L-Drago with maximum power with speed. But L-Drago didn't stop spinning.

"What's wrong? You thought by talking all this can make me distracted?...pointless...I must say, you speak a lot but when it comes to battle, you are speechless.....", said Ryuga as he laughs and L-Drago dashes Accalia simultaneously.

"Accalia, special move, Sapphire Pulse Slash!", said Gen as Accaliaunleashed a purple energy from it directly hitting L-Drago. Gen's nails started to grow again which she noticed and even Ryuga.

"Looks like you didn't find the crystal after all..(Gen shocks) You could have trained instead of finding it..."

"Are you the one who took it?!"

"Why would I need a stupid crystal's power? What a waste of time..."

"Why you, Accalia!", said Gen as Accalia still hits which made L-Drago push back.

"Useless. Are you proving that you are nothing but a coward? No wonder Gingka is always one step ahead of you...L-Drago, Absorb mode", said Ryuga as the Core is rotated 180° so that the plastic protrusions on the Core are aligned with the front of the dragon heads of the Metal Frame.

"Accalia! Move away!", shouted Gen but it was hopeless as L-Drago hits Accalia and absorbs the power of Accalia.

"You don't realize your efforts and hard work has led you to nothing. You are just being more dumber every single day. No matter how many times you realize that you are still too weak, you still don't realize it...You don't even care about your bey. You don't even deserve that bey like Gingka deserves Pegasus...", said Ryuga.

"Says the guy who is still selfiesh to have more power rather than helping the legendary bladers to defeat Nemesis...I care about my bey and my mom saw something in me like my dad saw in Gingka...I don't care if I am weaker than Gingka, I am strong in my own way...I don't need some guy like you to explain how my life should be...so Ryuga! If you don't think I am strong enough, then here is the proof! Accalia, Special move! Destiny Endothermic Attack!", said Gen as Accalia started to have blue flames around it and almost dashes L-Drago.

"A new special move, huh? Well, well, well, now this is what I needed....but...I am not gonna let you win the battle...The Dragon Emperor will never ever be defeated....Time to finish this, L-Drago, special move, Dragon Emperor Supreme Flight!", said Ryuga as L-Drago simply fires blasts of fire to incinerate the opponent. Both of the bladers use up all their strength but Accalia is hit and is out of the stadium.

"No, Accalia!", said Gen as it was on the ground. Gen kneels down in defeat.

"Gen...", said Madoka in sadness. Ryuga takes his bey and then comes to the stadium, takes Accalia and looks at it. He then walks towards Gen and stops.

"No matter how much you battle me, you will still lose. Once again, L-Drago wins and Accalia loses. But...I guess you are still in progress (Gen shocks and looks at him as he gives her Accalia and Gen takes it) That move you just pulled out...with the reverse rotate mode...(smirks) is something no one would think of...so keep practising and you will get it...", said Ryuga walks away.

"What's the point? (she looks down and Ryuga stops and looks at her partially) There is no way I could improve...you are right, I am still and always be one step back from Gingka...that's the real curse...I am a curse child of the Haganes...", said Gen looks down.

"You know unlike you, Gingka has a thing which everybody likes in this world...and that is, you should never give up (Gen looks up) what may come in your way, you should always fight it...Don't you want to accomplish your mom's dream? (Gen shocks) If you do, then find a way that can impress anybody...your own way...the next time we meet, Hagane, that's the time, you defeat me once for all...", said Ryuga as he leaves. Gen looks at him walking away and then looks at Accalia.

"My own way, huh? Now that's something even harder and lazy to find...hmmm...I wonder why Ryuga supports me unlike for Gingka...but he is right, (smiles) now then let me see if I get even better opponents....I will become stronger no matter what...", said Gen looking at Accalia. Then she remembers a memory.

"I am not a legendary blader either...that's what I mean by understanding how you feel...but that does not stop you from becoming stronger...(Gen looks) show it without the crystal...and that's what I am gonna do...I am gonna train to be stronger...", said Tsubasa with a smile as the memory ends and Gen looks upto the sky.

"I wonder if Tsubasa's gotten stronger...and if he's okay...", said Gen looking up at the sky.
