Three days later, a new tournament is starting. In a race, Bladers are challenged to climb the tower, whereas on top, they will face a powerful Blader with a powerful Bey.

"A true babylonia treasure, the legendary strongest bey, huh, well if it is true, then the light residing in that treasured bey is surely from the star fragment, if I get my hands on it, that power will be mine", said Tsubasa.

"Don't be stupid (Tsubasa looks at her) there is no way that can be the star fragment", said Gen looking at her Mom's journal.

"What do you mean?"

"A star fragment is something to be kept safe not to be given, so I don't think it is true", said Gen.

"Then tell me why the WBBA sent us here? ", said Tsubasa.

"I don't know, besides if it is true, I want to know why they are giving away the star fragment", said Gen.

"The battle will start right about....huh? who is that?"

Everybody turned around and saw Ryuga coming in front. Gen and Tsubasa were shocked.

"Ryuga? What is he doing here?", asked Gen.

"So he followed the rumour that a light entered a bey known as the Babylonian treasure too", said Tsubasa.

"Huh (seeing a masked person with Ryuga) Is that who I think it is", said Gen looking at him.

"(sees him too) could it be?", said Tsubasa looking at Gen.

"Snap out of it, people. Let's get this party started. The Babel Tower battle is on. 3, 2, 1. Now run for it", said the blader DJ as everybody started running towards the tower.

"Let's go!", said Tsubasa as he started to run away from Gen.

"Hey, I am coming too", said Gen as she ran towards him. While they were running, they saw Ryuga still standing over there.

"What is Ryuga doing over there?", asked Gen as she stopped.

"I wonder too, but no time to waste", said Tsubasa as they both ran towards the top. Gen were concentrated on her Mom's journal that suddenly a bey was about to hit her.

"Look out", screamed Tsubasa as he took Gen and leaned her near the wall. Gen was shocked as it was the first time she was very close to Tsubasa. She started to blush. Tsubasa didn't notice what was happening. The bey was gone and he pulled Gen's hand and ran towards the top. Two people were blocking their way by launching their beys towards Gen and Tsubasa. Tsubasa launched his Eagle towards them and defeated them. After that, he took Gen's hand and ran. The other Bladers shoot their Beys at them. Tsubasa dodges it and launches his Earth Eagle at them, which stops them. However, he is stopped by Kenta who challenged him.

"What are you doing here, Tsubasa? (he sees Gen) Gen? So you were on a training journey with Tsubasa?", asked Kenta.

"Kenta? I thought you were with Gingka, right? Why are you with Ryuga?", asked Gen.

"Things changed", said Kenta.

"Does Gingka and the others know what you are doing?"

"Sorta, I have to become even stronger than ever before. There is someone I need to impress, it's Ryuga", said Kenta.

"Ryuga?", asked Gen.

"I decided to be useful to Gingka and the others in my own special way like this (tells the story of Ryuga telling him to challenge him any day, any time or place and once Kenta win, he would take it seriously) That's what he said, Ryuga said if I could make him get serious, he will really listen to my request", said Kenta.

"Ryuga? He said that to you?", asked Tsubasa. Gen was shocked to hear that and then she remembered Ryuga helping her and giving her Sapphire Accalia.

"That's why I need a bey with the power of the star fragment so I will be stronger and I will get it even if I have go through you both", said Kenta.

"So be it..I understand why you want this...but all the same, the WBBA entrusted us with this investigation and I have not given up on becoming a legendary blader myself that hasn't changed either, got it? So let's battle, Kenta", said Tsubasa taking out his launcher.

"No...(Tsubasa shocks and takes out her launcher) I will battle, Kenta....he and I need a little talk...you have to get that bey, now, Tsubasa...I will take care of this", said Gen.

"Gen? But..."

"No buts...let's do this, Kenta", said Gen.

"Okay....good luck...", said Tsubasa as he went forward. 3,2,1 Let it rip! The beys clash and drift apart.

"Go now, Sagittario!", said Kenta as Sagittario dashes Accalia towards Gen's side.

"Not bad...but I won't go easy on you and you know it...Accalia!", said Gen as Accalia moves away from Sagittario and goes over a rock which made it fly towards the tower. Rocks fall towards the ground and hitting Sagittario.

"Where is Accalia?", asked Kenta as he looked all around.

"Having trouble finding it? Well here it comes, Accalia! (Kenta sees Accalia dashing towards Sagittario) Accalia, Special Move (changes into Blast mode) Sapphire Pulse Slash!", said Gen as Accalia was covered in purple flames.

"I won't lose (Gen shocks) I just can't lose here not now, Sagittario, Flame Claw!", said Kenta as Sagittario covered in red-yellow flame hits Accalia.

"Unbelievable...if I don't do anything, I will lose, Accalia! You can do it!", said Gen as she was covered in light purple flames. Accalia soon dashes Sagittario completely towards the floor. Sagittario stops spinning.

"Sagittario", said Kenta as he kneels down. Gen takes her bey and runs but stops near Kenta.

"I know you wouldn't expect me to say this but...I see a bey spirit which is not normal (He shocks) whatever you are trying to do for Gingka and the others, I hope it will come true....", said Gen with a smile as she ran towards the top. Kenta looks at her and then at Sagittario.

She reached the top and saw Ryuga and Tsubasa battling.

"Ryuga?"

"Well, well, well, it's been a while, Gen. Never thought you would come here", said Ryuga.

"Are you okay?", said Tsubasa. Gen nods to him.

"Oh i see...let me guess your daddy want her little girl to be protected so he sent for him, I must say you both make a pretty good couple", said Ryuga.

"Couple? (She looks at Tsubasa and starts to blush) That's none of your business, Ryuga", said Gen looking away from Tsubasa. L-Drago and Eagle hits each other.

"What an incredible power! What is that bey?", asked Gen as Eagle was continuously hitting L-Drago.

"L-Drago Destructor", said Ryuga.

"L-Drago Destructor?", said Tsubasa.

"In the face of my new reborn, your bey is still the same", said Ryuga.

"Wait a minute....this means you are one of the legendary bladers? I can't believe this", said Gen which shocks Tsubasa.

"So what if I am? You are one of them too, right?", said Ryuga which makes Gen sad.

"No I am not, I don't have a star fragment", said Gen in sadness.

"So once again Gen is in the back and her brother Gingka is in the front...somethings do never change huh?", said Ryuga as he started to laugh. Tsubasa looks at Gen who was very sad.

"Stop it, Ryuga (Gen looks at Tsubasa)....even if she does not have a star fragment, she is still strong and awesome blader. So stop making her angry all the time just because she is one step back from Gingka....I know she will reach great heights because she does not give up...she is unique in her own way...", said Tsubasa who continue to battle Ryuga. Gen looked at him for a while.

"Tsubasa...", said Gen in her mind.

"But why? You already possess so much power. Why are you trying to get even more power of the star fragment anyway?", asked Tsubasa.

"No reason, there can be only one strongest bey in the world and there is only one strongest blader, the Dragon Emperor just is the Dragon Emperor. I will claim all the power in the world, that's the deal", said Ryuga.

"He's got a screw loose but I won't allow it, Eagle", said Tsubasa as Eagle is still hitting L-Drago. She sees L-Drago Destructor who throws Earth Eagle due to a so-called Ultimate Move; Dragon Emperor Life Destructor. Tsubasa crumbles to the floor as he takes a loss.

"Tsubasa....ugh..Ryuga", Gen said as Ryuga starts to laugh. Gen becomes angry.

"What? It's his fault that he wanted to battle me?", said Ryuga as he smirks.

"I thought you changed but you are still the guy who is selfish in getting more power...", said Gen.

"Who said I changed? I will be always the strongest blader in the world...no matter who battles me, I will still win....", said Ryuga.

"If you think that way, then let's battle, Ryuga", said Gen as she takes out her launcher.

"Wait...he is more powerful than before...it's best if you don't battle him, Gen", said Tsubasa.

"But?"

"I prefer at what he said....and plus it's no use of battling you...your bey is a chicken which is already roasted from the start (Gen becomes more angry and takes his bey) Come on out, your ridiculous game is over, don't make me come in there", said Ryuga as a thin person comes in and falls on his knees.

"Stop, please wait, Ryuga, Tsubasa and Gen Hagane?, I wasn't told that such strong bladers would be participating in this thing today", he said.

"And you are?", asked Ryuga.

"The Babylonian blader?", asked Kenta.

"Yes, but I was only to play the part of the warrior in order to make this tournament more exciting, I am just some small town champion from the countryside, I am not a blader who could possibly fight you two", said the guy.

"That's just sad", said Tsubasa. The so-called powerful Blader is left in fear at Ryuga and shows Ryuga, his Bey. With this Ryuga knows he is not a Legendary Blader and is furious at this, as he crushes the Bey with his foot and destroys the Tower of Babel. Ryuga was about to leave but Gen stopped him.

"Stop, Ryuga", she said.

"What do you want, Gen? Do not waste my time", said Ryuga.

"To come with me, you are a legendary blader. Gingka and the rest of the others need you in order to defeat Nemesis. I know you think I am stupid but it's the truth", said Gen.

"Save it, I am not gonna do that, besides you are not one of them (Gen looks down) So what's the point of coming with you guys anyways", said Ryuga.

"You don't understand how important this is to them, please listen to me, I am begging you", said Gen.

"Never, I don't need them, that's final (walking from his spot and reaches near Gen's side) You didn't tell him how you feel (Gen blushes) you remember what will happen to Tsubasa, right? (Gen shocks and looks at him) If you dont want that to happen, try not to get close to him (Ryuga walks away) and good luck finding the crystal, Gen...", said Ryuga which shocks Gen again. Kenta leaves them too.

After that Tsubasa and Gen were in the restaurant. Gen was still in shock of Ryuga knowing about the crystal. She took out her mom's journal and observed what her mom wrote.

"But how? How did he know about it? Ugh....", said Gen.

"You still never leave that book even if you are eating?", asked Tsubasa eating his sandwich.

"Huh? It's not an ordinary book. It's my mom's..."

"Your mom's journal? I know about it", said Tsubasa.

"It contains every detail about the star fragments and most importantly about the 11th legendary blader", said Gen.

"11th legendary blader? I thought there were 10", said Tsubasa.

"Guess my dad never told you about it, huh? Never mind that, the 11th star fragment is already the star fragment of the earth and if a person gets his or hands on it then he or she will be the strongest blader in the whole world. It was later stored as a crystal which is sealed away deep underground. I don't have a location because I think the location was on these two pages which is torn", said Gen showing Tsubasa the book.

"So you are not only looking for the remaining legendary bladers but this crystal too?"

"If this is what my mom really wants me to do, I can't just say no...I must find it and show my dad that I can be a blader just like Gingka...I am not a little princess anymore...", said Gen looking at the book.

"Then if it really means for you, then I will help you as I can the maximum", said Tsubasa.

"That means a lot, Tsubasa thanks.....(there was silence in between) umm...by the way...I forgot to ask on the way here...what you said to Ryuga today, about me, did you...did you really mean it?", asked Gen which shocks Tsubasa.

"Well...umm....yeah....why did you ask?", asked Tsubasa.

"Just simply....it's the first time someone has actually told about me like that.....(Tsubasa looks at Gen which she notices)...I mean I just asked....like in another way or....anyways the way you backed me out there, I really appreciate it.....thanks a lot...", said Gen looking away. Tsubasa starts to blush.

"Well...you dont need to thank me...Ryuga just don't get us....", said Tsubasa. That's when they get a call. It was Ryo and Hikaru.

"So found anything? Any clues", asked Ryo.

"The Babylonian treasure was not true after all, Dad. There is nothing related to the star fragment, but there is something else we need tell you, it's Ryuga, it turns out that he is...."

"He is a legendary blader", said Hikaru which shocks Tsubasa and Gen.

"But how did you guys know?", asked Tsubasa.

"Gingka called the other day and said that the island they went in which the star fragment was fallen was actually on L-Drago. Ryuga refused to join them", said Ryo.

"He did refuse to come with us too", said Gen.

"It seems like that....By the way, your grandpa called. I asked him about the crystal and he said that he has something that your mom has left something behind which is related to it", said Ryo.

"Grandpa? That's great, anyways I would like to see him and Renona again after all they did tell me about my mom....so I guess we are going to mom's village next....", said Gen.

"That's what I was about to say, well then good luck and Tsubasa, never leave her out of your sight", said Ryo with a smile.

"Dad? You are embarrassing me", said Gen blushing.

"I will, Director", said Tsubasa. And with that they hang up the call.
