The gang reached Paris, since the next match starts only two days later.

"Its vacation time", said Masamune walking in the airport.

"The B-block finals will be held a little late, so we have to wait here...at Paris!", said Madoka.

"Till that time we will train harder and become more stronger", said Gingka.

"Really?", asked Madoka in sweat drop.

"Yep, let's get to training right away and for that I need an opponent who I have not faced before, let's see, Gingka, no, Tsubasa, no, Yu, I have faced that kid and won so need for him, which means I will battle, Gen. So, Gen get ready.....(sees that she is missing), where is she and Yu?", said Masamune.

"Huh? Where did those two go?", said Gingka looking around.

"Over there, at the ice cream shop?", said Tsubasa seeing both licking ice cream. The gang went near them.

"I told you its yummy, didn't I", said Gen.

"You were right, this is a different flavour", said Yu.

"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING?", shouted Gingka. Both of them were shocked.

"Oh hey guys", said Yu.

"We were trying this awesome ice cream, try it", said Gen licking her ice cream.

"Why can't you both tell us where are you going before making us worried that you both got lost", said Madoka.

"When we saw the ice cream, we didn't have time to ask", said Gen finishing her cone.

"You are right, Gen. This is good", said Masamune as he bought one and started to lick it.

"You too? Are you kidding me?", said Gingka.

"I heard there is a offer that if you buy one ice cream, you will get a free hamburger", said Gen to Gingka. Gingka becomes shocked.

"Did you say hamburger? Hey, lady, please give me one ice cream", said Gingka as he went near the shop and bought one. Soon Madoka joined him. But Tsubasa was standing there without eating the ice cream.

"Hey, are you eating an ice cream?", said Gen came to him.

"Well...I don't like ice cream..so..", said Tsubasa.

"What? Are you crazy? You don't like ice cream?", said Gen. Tsubasa was shocked to see her freaking out.

"What I mean to say is that....I never tasted one...", said Tsubasa to calm her down.

"Oh, then why didn't you say so, dont freak me out like that...come on, today is your lucky day", said Gen as he hold his hand and pulled him towards the ice cream shop. Tsubasa starts to blush.

"Hey, I want one more ice cream, that too, (Looks at Tsubasa and smiles) make it chocolate", said Gen to the lady. The lady gave her the ice cream.

"Okay...the ice cream has arrived...Here, now try it", said Gen giving him the ice cream.

"Well....I...."

"Trust me...you will really love it, Tsubasa...just try it..", said Gen with a smile. Tsubasa took it and tasted it. He loved it.

"Wow...it's really good...", said Tsubasa.

"I knew you would like it", said Gen with a smile.

"Well what do you know, Tsubasa likes ice cream because of Gen", said Yu from behind.

"When she hears that someone does not like ice cream, she would make that person eat it by force...", said Gingka eating his hamburger.

"Just like you like hamburgers", said Madoka.

After that, they were on a double decker tour bus. They were at the top.

"Wow, look at the Eiffel Tower, I want to so..go there! It's so romantic....", said Madoka.

"I heard that at night, it's gonna look pretty awesome with the lights", said Gen.

"How do you know a lot about of Paris?", asked Gingka.

"You don't remember Dad telling you that he and Mom had their first kiss at the Eiffel Tower?", said Gen.

"Oh yeah, so this is where both of them fell in love with each other and Dad proposed her to be his wife, I totally forgot because I was so concentrated in beyblade...", said Gingka.

"Enough with the beyblade", said Madoka.

"Huh? But why?", said Gingka.

"Come on guys, Paris is a place to see romance not beyblade", said Madoka.

"For the last time, Madoka, beyblade is the only romance I see", said Gingka.

"Yeah Madoka, I agree with Gingka....", said Masamune.

"Really guys? Come on, think practical....", said Madoka as they continue to argue. Gen noticed that Tsubasa was sitting in the other corner of the bus, looking at a book serious. She went near him. Yu who was looking at Madoka and Masamune, looked towards Gen and Tsubasa.

"Hey", said Gen sitting near him.

"Oh, Gen", said Tsubasa.

"You seem like you are not enjoying Paris", said Gen.

"What? No, no...I really love it here...I just like some peace and quiet..."

"Peace and Quiet? Oh...then I should leave...."

"No,no,no...you should stay with me! I mean....that was a few minutes before...now I am okay...", said Tsubasa blushing and looking away. Gen laughs which made Tsubasa look at her.

"You freaked out so easily....I was messing with you...can't believe you fell for it...anyways leave that...whats the book you're reading?", said Gen with a smile.

"Oh this...Well it's just a pocket book...I carry it with me....it contains every information about each bey I battle or randomly see...", said Tsubasa.

"Really? Can I have a look at it? Please...."

"Huh? I..."

"Oh...you don't usually give it to anyone, huh? Well...that's okay...", said Gen looking down. Tsubasa looks at her and then smiles. He gives the book which shocks Gen.

"You can have a small peek...", he said which made Gen smile. She takes the book from him.

"Wow...you write notes for each bey? Thats so cool...but you never took this book during yiur battles...then how?", she asked.

"Once I get a fact about any bey, my brain stores it and when it's the end of the day, I write about it without any distractions..."

"Wait...so you memorise all this? Whoa! You are really awesome Tsubasa....(Tsubasa shocks as she turns around the pages) I mean my brain even though it is better than Gingka's...can't hold this type of information....no wonder you figure out the weak points of each bey so easily...you can use these informations to know another beys very quickly...."

"Exactly..."

"Wow...I wish I had a brain just like yours...I can't just take a book and a pen and keep with me...my stupid brain too have to work...well what can you do when you inherit your father's brain genes? I got a little of it but Gingka got 99% of it or 100%..Yeah totally 100%...you are so lucky to have this book...kind of reminds me that my mom had a journal like yours which I really remember it right now...Stupid Brain!", said Gen smacking her head.

"Don't be hard on yourself... besides you don't have a stupid brain..."

"I dont?"

"No you don't...if you had a stupid brain...you would have not come with us..."

"Oh yeah...that makes sense...I guess I am smart", said Gen with a confident smile. Tsubasa laughs.

"What's up?", asked Gen looking at him.

"Its nothing..."

"Come on, tell me...I want to laugh too..."

"When you said you were smart...you sounded like a nerd..."

"What? An nerd?! That's not true...(sees that Tsubasa still laughs) well...okay I admit that I sounded like a nerd...", said Gen who chuckles. Tsubasa looks at her with a smile.

"If you want to know any information about any bey...you could use my book if you like..."

"Wait...i can use the book? But it's too beyond...I can't do that..."

"That's fine with me...it's just you...so I don't mind you using it...", said Tsubasa blushing away from her. Gen looks at him and then smiles.

"Well if you suggested that way....then there is no point of saying no...I mean it would sound mean to you...Well...I will use it whenever I need it...but for now let's do some relaxation...just take some rest before our next match...it will help you and Eagle in your battling...trust me...", said Gen folding her hands and putting it behind her head.

"You seem to know a lot of other things other than beyblade, do you?", said Tsubasa.

"My mom told me that beyblade is just a hobby, you know her life was not boring, she would say that the best thing of her life was travelling and falling in love with Dad", said Gen looking at the view of Paris.

"Your mom was everything...", said Tsubasa looking down.

"You can say that, what I am trying to say is that just take a break and that's what I am gonna do within this three days", said Gen.

"Well, if that's what you are going to do, then so am I", said Tsubasa with a smile. Suddenly he looks at her short hair. He gets a vision of his childhood.

"(removes his hair band which shocks Tsubasa) I like your hair, Paco...it's so cool", said little Gen touching it.

"Thanks (taking the hairband from her and ties his hair) You have very long hair...", said little Tsubasa.

"Yep and I will never cut it, because my mom told me that one thing she loves me is my long blonde hair", said the little Gen and the vision ends.

"Have you ever thought of growing your hair?", asked Tsubasa. Suddenly Gen gets a memory of her and her mother at the hospital. Her mother died in front of her and Gen ran away from the hospital leaving Gingka and Dad in there. She reached a cliff crying. She had a scissor in her hand and looked at her hair for the last time and cut her hair short. The memory ends. Gen was thinking about it.

"You okay?", asked Tsubasa.

"My hair was the 1st thing that my mom really liked about me other than beyblade. She would say never cut it. I used to braid her hair everyday....she wouldnt say anything because she really likes it...But when she died (looking down), what's the use of keeping the hair? She is not here anymore", said Gen in sadness.

"I should have not asked you that...I didn't mean it...I am really sorry...", said Tsubasa.

"No, no, its okay...you didn't have to feel sorry for yourself....it's just a memory...besides whats the point of getting sad...I just have to be strong, right?..", said Gen with a smile.

They reached their hotel. Everybody got out except Tsubasa and Gen.

"So you are here too, it seems", said a familiar face. The gang saw and was surprised. It was the China team - Dashan, Chao Xin, Mei-Mei and Chi-yun Li.

"Hey, it's the Wang Hu Jhong! What are you guys doing here?", said Gingka.

"Since we are out of the world tournaments, we decided to travel around the world", said Chao Xin.

"So here we are, in Paris", said Mei-Mei.

"Oh I am sorry about the loss, looks like we are gonna be together for a while, it seems", said Masamune.

"That's awesome, we could have training for the final battle with you guys", said Yu.

"Ahem! (Everybody turns and looks at Madoka), also we came here to relax, don't forget that", said Madoka.

"Yeah that also", said Gingka.

"Wait, one, two, three, I only see three members, where is Tsubasa?", asked Chi-yun Li.

"They didn't come out yet? (seeing Tsubasa get out of the bus), there he is", said Yu.

"Oh Wang Hu Jhong, you guys are here too", said Tsubasa.

That's when Gen came out. Chao Xin was staring at her. He then went near her, dashing Tsubasa in the way and hold her hand. Gen was shocked.

"You are the most prettiest girl I have ever seen", said Chao Xin looking at her eyes.

"Yeesh!", said Gen looking shocked.

"Oh, you must be Gingka's sister, Gen, who was the substitute till Tsubasa was okay", said Dashan.

"Wait I have seen you guys before, you guys are the China team....ummm....oh yeah...Wang Hu Jhong....yep you are them, Dashan, Mei-Mei and Chi-yun Li and you must be Chao Xin...", said Gen pulling her hand away from Chao Xin.

"You got it right, and I am the leader of the China team", said Chao Xin.

"Since when?", asked Chi-yun.

"Nevermind him...I just can't believe I am really meeting you...I must say you are awesome...", said Chao Xin looking at Gen.

"Thanks...Chao Xin", said Gen smiling weirdly as Tsubasa gets jealous.

"Why don't we all go inside and talk", said Madoka. They all agreed and went in the hotel.
