Next day, Gen was seeing the battles between the China team and the Europe team. After seeing that their opponent is the Europe team, Gen was excited. Suddenly they got a call. Hikaru took it and was shocked.

"What is it, Hikaru?", said Ryo.

"Its serious Director, Tsubasa has gone missing from the hospital", said Hikaru. Everybody was shocked. Soon they started to search for Tsubasa but he was nowhere to be found. They went back and found out that Ryo had contacted Hyoma and he found Ryuga. Once Ryuga found Tsubasa, he will send him right away to Italy. Ryo also said that they don't need to worry about it and be ready for leaving it to Italy.

They went to Italy. It was the first time that Gen was travelling with them. When they were out of the plane and was going out, they were surrounded by reporters.

"Hey Gingka, so how are you feeling about the upcoming a block final", asked one reporter.

"Different technique, same plan battle with everything we've got", said Gingka.

"Hey wait a minute, why is Tsubasa with you guys? And who is this?",asked the reporter as he saw Gen. Gen was surprised.

"There is a rumor going around that Tsubasa is sick in the hospital. Are you replacing him?", asked the reporter to Gen. She was speechless.

"Is that true? I didn't hear such a thing. Oh she is a friend who came to support us, Gen Hagane", said Madoka.

"Is that Gingka's sister who was evil and destroyed the stadium before in Japan..?", said the reporter.

"Man, people can be so irritating", said Gen angrily.

"Tsubasa is just fine. He was so pumped up for the final battle that he is actually came here ahead of us", said Gingka.

"Huh? No kidding?", said Masamune. When Masamune said that, Yu and Gingka stepped on his feet. Madoka, Gingka and Yu said something in the camera and the group ran away from there.

"Gingka, what were you thinking saying that stuff about Tsubasa coming here before us", said Madoka.

"Then what do you think i should have said", said Gingka.

"You broke it, you guys are a bunch of foot stomping maniacs, not very nice", said Masamune.

"You guys are completely weird...", said Gen in sweat drop.

In the place while Madoka was fixing their beys, she got a message from the WBBA about the battle order of the Europe team. She went to the rest of the team to say about the news. The 2nd battle was a team battle.

"Yu and Gen, looks like you will be battling them, can you do it?", said Gingka.

"Of course we will, we will try our best. Isn't that right, Gen?", said Yu. But Gen was not listening to them.

"Gen, GEN!", screamed Yu.

"Yeah sure I will battle tomorrow", said Gen as she was thinking about Tsubasa.

"That's the spirit, Gen", said Gingka. Later at night, she sees a dream about Tsubasa getting controlled by Dark power and attacking her.

"Tsubasa!", said Gen as she open her eyes.

"It was just a dream, Tsubasa, I hope you are okay", said Gen staring at the window for a while. Suddenly she saw a face that she never expected looking at her.

"Ryuga....?", said Gen as she took Accalia and left the room. She went outside the hotel and met him.

"There you are...I heard about you coming here..", said Ryuga.

"Did you find him?", asked Gen.

"Who? What are you talking about?", asked Ryuga.

"Tsubasa...my dad...he said that you would find him..."

"Oh...I was on my way...so I came here to take you with me and find him...", said Ryuga.

"Me? But the team...should I...."

"Don't go back there....if you want to find him then come with me or else just leave it", said Ryuga.

"(thinks for a while) You know where he is?", said Gen in confidence. Ryuga smirks.

"Yeah I know....let's go", said Ryuga as they both went to search for him.

They reach a part of a forest where they see a beam of dark power coming out.

"That's all then huh", said Ryuga. Gen was shocked to see the view suddenly she feels pain. Ryuga notices it.

"It's him....Tsubasa...", said Gen holding her hand going forward leaving Ryuga behind. On the way, Gen feels pain more and more as she get closer. She reach on the spot and see the Europe team almost gonna attack Tsubasa. Tsubasa was covered by dark purple flames and Eagle was dashing out of control.

"Huh?(Takes out her launcher and launches Accalia) Accalia!", said Gen as Accalia blocks their special move.

"Huh? That bey...it can't be...", said Tsubasa looking shocked.

"Tsubasa! (Tsubasa turns around) There you are", said Gen coming in front of him.

"Gen? No....you shouldn't be here...", said Tsubasa moving away from her.

"You shouldn't be here either...(takes his hand, Tsubasa shocks) Let's go", said Gen pulling him.

"Gen Hagane.....(Gen shocks and turns around and faces Julian) The sister of Gingka Hagane...I heard you are a amazing blader just like your brother", said Julian.

"Look...I am really sorry about Tsubasa attacking you...he is just sick...please let us go..", said Gen.

"Oh we will leave you alone and accept your apology....but not after you battle me", said Julian which shocks Gen.

"Your bey is a legendary bey....Accalia....isn't it? I have heard a lot about you....even about the time that you...were in control of the power that your friend is suffering.....so battling you would be a terrific opportunity....you see...I won't get to battle tomorrow because my team here....will win the first two battles...and your team will lose...", said Julian.

"Huh? You can't decide that yourself pal....", said Gen.

"Then battle me and we will find out....Gravity Destroyer!", said Julian as his bey hit Accalia.

"Stop this....she has nothing to do with this...(comes a little forward but blocked by Gen) Gen?", said Tsubasa.

"You have done enough already, Tsubasa...He is my opponent now not yours...just stay there, Accalia!", said Gen as Accalia hits back Gravity Destroyer.

"That's some power....Impressive...but I won't go easy on you..", said Julian as his bey was gonna hit Accalia but that's when Ryuga came in.

"This is pathetic", he said.

"No...it can't be...Ryuga?", said Tsubasa.

"Why did you run off like that, Gen? Don't repeat this again", said Ryuga annoyed which shocked Tsubasa.

"What? You came with him?", asked Tsubasa to Gen who didn't notice it as she was looking at Ryuga.

"I will explain it later", said Gen.

"You call that children's magic show the dark power...don't make me laugh", said Ryuga as L-Drago crashes the ground. Everyone was shocked. L-Drago goes around and hits Cetus with power that made Sophie and Wales fall to the ground. Tsubasa feels pain in his chest.

"Are you alright?", said Gen.

"I am (feels pain and kneels down)...I don't think so", said Tsubasa holding his chest. Gen feels pain in her hand. But she ignores it.

Ryuga tells Tsubasa that the original L-Drago had gained power and lost its natural strength from the evil people who had used it. Meteo L-Drago is the result of much hard training, the original power of L-Drago without human interference. As Tsubasa ponders over this, Ryuga tells him not to resist the dark power, instead to become one with it. Tsubasa is silenced as he wonders about this, meanwhile Ryuga proceeds to used L-Drago to hurt Wales and then go after Sophie. Before he can make contact, Julian gets in the way, complaining there has been enough destruction tonight. Ryuga notices Destroyer is a reverse-rotating Bey, but comments the only true reverse-rotating Bey is L-Drago. Julian disagrees.

"The dark power...it's getting stronger and going to the next stage...", said Gen looking at Tsubasa who was feeling pain and weak.

"He can control it (Gen looks at Ryuga) You don't need to worry about him....I am going to leave you both alone...once you are done with him, come to me because we need to talk...so don't waste my time", said Ryuga leaving them. Tsubasa feels pain more and more.

"It's...controlling....me.....", said Tsubasa holding his chest.

"Tsubasa....hang in there....oh...what can I do...(sees the lake near them)...Just stay here", said Gen as she went near the lake. She takes out a handkerchief from her side pocket and dipped it in the water. Then she takes it out and comes near Tsubasa.

"You are gonna be okay....", said Gen as she wiped his forehead slowly and carefully. Tsubasa calms down.

"Feeling better now?..."

"Yeah...thanks a lot....", said Tsubasa smiling weakly as Gen wraps his forehead with the sleeve and made a knot. Gen sits near him but a metre apart.

"How did you find me?", asked Tsubasa.

"Ryuga...he came to the hotel I was staying....he knew where you were and so I came along...", said Gen looking down.

"You came all the way to Italy just to find me?", asked Tsubasa.

"Not just that...but unfortunately I have been recruited as a sub for Gan Gan Galaxy..and Yu...he...."

"He is the third regular member huh? (She Looks at him) Which means I am off the team..."

"What? No...you are not...if we reach tomorrow on time.."

"It's no use...I am not coming....you have to leave....I don't want you to get in trouble too...."

"But the team would be happy to see you..."

"What if I turn into an evil monster like you or Ryuga and try to cause a world wide destruction?....look, it's best if you stay away from me...go back to the team and win for them...."

"Tsubasa...."

"Just leave me alone, Gen....the last thing I don't want is to not hurt you...", said Tsubasa looking down.

"I will leave you alone just like you wanted (Tsubasa looks at her) but just for your information....do you know how we felt about you when you left the hospital... We looked everywhere for you....the places you always like to hangout.....we were worried about you...and you know why because you are my friend...you were there when I was upset when I lost my bey...I know how the dark power and it's not something I can't forget...you could have told me about it at the hospital so that you won't go through this much of trouble...", said Gen.

"I didn't know you guys would be worried about me...."

"Like I said...you are my friend...we deal everything together from battling to attaining friendship...look...if you want to defeat the dark power...all you have to do is become yourself....because that's the way everyone likes about you...and to be honest...I have been a little jealous of you these days..."

"Jealous of me? Really?"

"Yeah....the way you battle and take everything so calm...you know there are times that I want to be just like you...but I can't because every time Gingka Hagane irritates me...I burst like a volcano and spread the lava all around until a tsunami like my dad stops us...(Tsubasa laughs and Gen smiles) that's the smile I wanted to see...just keep smiling till the end....I know you can defeat the dark power...all you have to do is believe in yourself...(Tsubasa stops smiling and Gen notices it) what's the matter?"

"I thought you won't talk to me...."

"Why would you think like that?"

"Because of the way I acted at the hospital...you slapped my face and had tears in your eyes...you were angry and run out of the room not coming back...."

"Well I know you weren't yourself back there....(Tsubasa Looks at her) I did feel pain in my hand so I kind of knew that it was not you...so don't worry about that...."

"So you are cool with it?"

"Yeah...everybody makes mistakes so I can't blame you for it...(Tsubasa looks down) I know its a little weird coming from me but I just want to know...why did the dark power really told you to kiss me, Tsubasa?", said Gen which made Tsubasa shocked. Gen gets up and goes near the lake and drinks the water.

"I...(looks at Gen who was looking at the view) You won't slap me again, would you?", asked Tsubasa.

"What? No...well I can't talk about it in front of the others, can I?....they would take it as something else...so...", said Gen.

"Yeah you are right...."

"So...would you tell me about it?"

"Well... I know you would think I am crazy...but...There is this thing I wanted to talk to you about ...something that's been in my head ever since I met you and I know you are not the type of girl for it....but I can't take it anymore when I look at you (Tsubasa walking towards her

feeling pain)...so...(screams a little)...Gen...I..." Tsubasa almost falls towards the ground but Gen catches him.

"Tsubasa..."

"I really am...in love with you, Gen Hagane....", said Tsubasa as he closes his eyes and sleeps. Gen shocks.

"Tsubasa? Tsubasa....", said Gen looking at him. She then lies him down and removes her jacket. She then covers him with the jacket like a blanket and have a last look at the sleeping Tsubasa. Then she leaves him and goes towards Ryuga.
