Gillean had just lost his best friend and is feeling utterly miserable and lonely. Being smart doesn't fend off loneliness. If nothing having the combination of smarts AND the lack of forward planning got him into the state he currently was in - rejection and the feeling of being a failure. Cue in the sounds of angelic trumpets. RaRa, his best friend, returns to "save the day". Well. What she thinks of as saving the day that is. Corny ideals, lame ideas. The two get into one last patch of trouble together as they sneak back into RaRa's home. Just what kind of family secrets has RaRa been keeping from Gill. In blood and thunder, Gill finds out. And also completed *self pats* that I will be releasing in mini chapters (of 500-800 words each) on Fridays and Saturdays.). They're en route to rally point [Redacted]. Valkyrie One and Saber Two making their last stand to buy time. [Redacted] personnel remain, but will be lost to cover Old Man's escape. May winds of glory guide their way. The old man a true veteran of the battlefield. Been everywhere. Done everything. Now he's running for his life, with the Kids and data his sister died for. He's fucking pissed. The alliance who messed with him is going to pay. He'd ensure it. But little did he know that he might just get wrapped up in a war greater than any other he has fought, because this time the Wilds is on the verge of collapse, not just The Imperial Warmongers. Will, he able to pull off this seemingly impossible task? Or will he fail? PS: I am new at writing and this is my first attempt at this. Any criticism or suggestions is appreciated. In such a world, a cry of anguish can lead to a small hope, a cry of desperation can lead to a warm and loving embrace , and a cry of helplessness can lead to freedom. Will one man rise above all, or will he fail to stand up from the dirt from whence he came? We can only find out in the future, can't we? PS: This is my first fiction, so I would really appreciate some feedback, since I don't know if it is any good at all. Also, the creator of the cover is winRoot. If you want a good cover or something illustrated, he is a very good artist and will take commisions. I highly recommend him.
