Students of Seoul Nation Academy have been given the "free week" which started on Tuesday. This is to let the students prepare for the charity ball which will be held today, Saturday. Some would probably think that a four day preparation is not enough. But with the event being annually held, students have prepared for their performances months before the school starts. The only thing that is needed to be done and finished are the decorations and food stuff.

With the preparations, Jennie had been very busy on organizing and managing things. Being the student council's president really took so much of her energy. Despite that, she still managed to balance everything with the help of her co-members.

Y/N on the other hand, was busy fixing the photo booth that they will be providing, for the guests and other students. She spent most of her time at the studio with Lisa. After the incident on Monday, she was very glad that her and her sister are no longer fighting. They came back to how they used to, just Jennie being more clingy and Y/N being more protective. Just like what happened last Wednesday.

Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, Lisa, and Y/N are currently at the cafeteria eating their lunch. Their other friends wouldn't take a break from their duties so the four decided to grab a bite on their own. Yes, four. Chulichaeng and Y/N had to drag Jennie out of her office, well not literally. The president wouldn't budge but when Y/N threatened her that she will carry her like a sack of rice, she had no choice but to go with them.

The friends are peacefully eating, with some jokes being thrown on the side. Jennie's head was laid on Y/N's shoulder while she's munching on her sandwich. Y/N's arm was placed on Jennie's head and softly playing with her hair. The three other girls sitting with them didn't pay much attention to it since they are clingy that way.

After the five girls ate, they went on with their day. When school hours finished, that signals that duties are finished as well, Y/N went on the student council's office. To her dismay, a guy that is known to be a fuckboy was talking to Jennie just outside the office.

She immediately walked towards them and harshly pushed the boy. "Hey dude. Fuck off. If you're trying to make a move on her, then better reconsider your plans. That will never happen in my watch." She had her fists balled while glaring at the guy.

Ilhoon, the guy, just glared back at the fuming girl and walked away. Jennie then held Y/N's balled fists. "Calm down, Y/N. He's not doing anything in that matter. He was just asking me about the performers' list. He's playing with his band so he wanted to know the sequence." Y/N's eyes softened upon meeting the cat eyes that she loves the most.

"Are you sure?" She pushed. "Yes, I am. So calm down, okay?" Y/N nodded. "Let's go home now." Jennie squeezed Y/N's hand and walked to the parking lot. The older just held her hand on the way there.

And another news was delivered to Y/N and the rest of their circle of friends. Chungha, along with her bestfriends, Somi and Doyeon, arrived at their school and were announced to be new students. It was a shocker to them specially Y/N, and for some reason, to Jennie as well. But despite that, they took it very well and welcomed the three to their new school and introduced them to their other friends.

It's now Saturday, 3:30 in the afternoon. The Kim siblings are in their own rooms preparing for the 5 o'clock event. Prior to this day, Y/N has asked Nayeon if she would like to go to the ball with her and fortunately, Nayeon said yes. And Taehyung and Kai asked Jennie the same but only Taehyung received the same response.

The charity ball is not so much alike with a prom but students choose to bring dates with them at the event. Well, the only thing that they would do is enter the event hall together, talk for a little, part ways to do their duties, then maybe dance a bit at the end. They would be separated most of the time.

"Kids, aren't you done yet? It's 3:30!" Ji won, their mother, yelled at the bottom of the stairs. Jennie and Y/N need to be at the venue at least 30 minutes before it starts. "Coming!" Jennie and Y/N said in unison before coming out of their rooms at the same time.

"Jennie, wow. You look so stunning." Y/N complimented her sister after staring at her for a good minute. Y/N can't deny that Jennie is indeed the most beautiful girl she has ever seen.

Jennie looked down to hide her red cheeks. Y/N looks really wonderful right now. After composing herself, she looked up again and met the younger's eyes. "You're wonderful." Y/N smiled so wide at her sister's compliment.

"Shall we?" Y/N offered her hand to Jennie and the girl gladly took it. "We shall." With that, the two went down the stairs and saw their mother holding a camera. "Awww my babies are all grown ups now! Pose for the camera!" The two did some poses while their mom took shots.

By the time they finished, it's already 3:45pm. "I'll let you two go now." Ji won kissed her kids good bye and the two went out the door. Their dad and Naeun is out at the mall to have a father-daughter bonding.

The moment they stepped out the door, a car pulled over and Taehyung came out. "You look dashing, dude." He hugged his bestfriend and earned a "You as well." from Y/N.

The boy then turned to Jennie and gave her a sweet smile. "You're so beautiful, Jennie." She thanked him and held his extended hand.

"I'll see you both there okay? And Tae, please drive carefully. Jennie is riding with you so I am expecting you to be responsible." Y/N reminded her bestfriend thinking back to the time Taehyung crashed on their garage door while reversing. The boy smiled and nodded then drove off.

Y/N drove off as well after them. She'll be picking Nayeon up. The drive was not that long considering that the girl lives just 10 blocks away. When Y/N arrived, she spotted her date standing at the porch looking like a goddess.

She instantly felt nervous and her palms begun to sweat. After a few deep breaths, she got out of the car and faced Nayeon. "I-i you look gorgeous, Nayeonie." The nickname slipped off of her tongue.

"I like it." Y/N looked at her confusedly so she continued. "The nickname I mean. And thank you. You're not so bad yourself, Kim." Y/N blushed and guided Nayeon to her car. After settling down, Y/N begun the drive to their school. Time check, 4:05pm.

Y/N and Nayeon arrived at their school 5 minutes after Taehyung and Jennie. They met each other at the parking lot and decided to go inside together. They still have 10 minutes before it hits 4:30pm.

Y/N had her arm for her date to hold and they were walking ahead of her sister. With that being said, the younger was unaware of the burning glares Jennie was giving them.

"Hey, are you okay?" Taehyung took notice of the girl's behavior.

"Yes, I'm good. I'm just uh kinda nervous. Yeah I'm nervous." Jennie sounded like she was convincing herself more than the guy. "Don't worry. This will be a success, just like the past years. Besides, we have you as our head for this year's charity ball." Jennie can't help but smile at the guy's words and his charismatic smile.

"Y/N! Nayeon!" The two girls were welcomed with familiar voices as they entered the hall. Looking around, they spotted Jisoo, Lisa, and Rosé waving at them.

They walked over to their table to greet them. "Hey guys! Wow! I must say that all of you look absolutely gorgeous right now. Wow!" Y/N admired her friends' outfits.

"When are we not gorgeous? I mean have you seen us? Have you seen me?" Lisa flipped her hair and did a turn around. The friends laughed at the blonde's silliness.

"Well that's true." Y/N agreed and laughed more.

"You're so pretty, Nayeon." The chipmunk beamed and the girl showed off her bunny teeth as a response.

"Anyway, where's Jennie?" Jisoo asked looking for her other cousin. And just like Jennie heard her name, she came walking in but this time, alone.

"Girls!" Jennie carefully ran to her friends and gave each of them a hug.

"You're sexy, Jennie unnie." Lisa winked at the older girl and received a finger gun from Jennie.

"Yahhh!" Y/N whined beside her and the friends just laughed. "Jennie, where's Tae?"

"Oh he saw his friends so he went with them. They're gonna have their last practice before their performance." Y/N just hummed at that.

The event has already started and I am currently roaming around the place with my camera. I make sure to get great shots of everything and everyone in this hall. Lisa is doing the same so we are not together right now. The photo booth is being handled by Jeongyeon and Solar unnie.

After my friends and I talked, Nayeon excused herself since she'll meet up with Chanyeol oppa. He is a part of the dance troupe so I have no idea why.

While I was roaming around, I reached the food area and saw Jennie drinking water while watching a band called The Rose performing. She looks so adorable so I decided to snap a picture of her before I approached her.

"What is a gorgeous girl doing here alone?" Knowing unnie, she slightly jumped upon hearing my voice. I can't help but laugh.

"Yah! You scared me!" She slapped my arm lightly and playfully glared at me. "Sorry. I didn't mean to." I did a peace sign with that. "Anyway, what are you doing here all alone?" I repeated my question.

"I'm just taking a break. This event just started but it's already tiring me." She pouted while looking in front of her.

"Aigoo unnie. You're getting old." I pinched her dumpling like cheeks just for her to slap my hand away and receive another glare. "At least you're aging well." I winked at her. She just huffed and looked ahead again.

While watching the performance, I snapped some more pictures of people that is near the food area. Some are students, staff, and guests.

"Now, for a collaboration performance, let's all give Park Chanyeol of the dance troupe and Im Nayeon of the music club, a round of applause." The host said and that got my attention.

"I never thought that Chanyeol oppa sings." Jennie said beside me. I hummed as an agreement and focused at the stage. There, Nayeon stood so beautifully while Chanyeol oppa looks very handsome beside her. They look good together. My internal battle stopped when I heard the first chords playing. Dream. I love this song!

The people are cheering and clapping as they finished the song. I myself can't help but do the same. I have to admit it. They are really good. Their voices suit each other.

"Unnie, do you mind if I'll go around once again? I need to take more shots."

"I don't mind. I'll go as well to check on other things." She smiled at me and was about to go but I stopped her.

"Wait, I'll show you something." I then opened my camera to her picture. She immediately slapped me multiple times. "Hey hey stop!" I held her hand.

"Don't you dare publish that along with the other photos of tonight's event!"

"Don't worry, Jennie. I have no plans to do so. I won't let everyone see this cute little bean of mine." I beamed and walked away.

I met other students along the way. I even met Chungha and her friends. Now if someone's thinking about what our status is, her and I are just friends. I realized that what I felt for her was a simple childhood crush and it stopped there. I was just shocked and surprised when we first saw each other after a long time explaining why I got nervous. Plus I feel like she has a thing for Doyeon.

"Guys, have you seen Lisa?" I saw Jisoo unnie and Rosé at a table eating sandwiches while Jisoo unnie tries to balance a water bottle on her shoulder. Unnie decided to speak up since chipmunk is busy on her food. "No we haven't seen her af- wait she's there!" Jisoo unnie then pointed at the stage.

"Holy cheese! Why is she there?" I dumbly asked no one and I just realized the reason why when I saw who she is with at the stage, the dance troupe.

"Why widn't shiszb tell usczc? Wow!" Rosé spoke with her mouth full and I let it slide this time since my best friend is at the stage, dancing once again!

We were so hyped up while watching them that we even went near the stage. I then took so many photos of them because this needs to be seen! I took a lot for each member but of course, I took extra more shots for my buddy.

When the performance ended, my friends and I rushed to the backstage to meet the group. Unfortunately, all of them walked to the dressing room already but luckily, Lisa was so slow.

"Yow! Why didn't you tell us?" I softly slapped her head. This is what she gets.

"Ehee! That was a surprise. I practiced with them for few hours a day. Did you guys um like it?" I can sense that she is being shy about it.

I wrapped my arms around her. "Hey hey. We loved it. Right guys?" I asked unnie and Rosé and they both nodded quickly. I saw Lisa's smile. "I loved it. You have no idea how proud I was while I watched you kill it on that stage. It's been so long since I've seen you dance." She then hugged me and soon enough we are wrapped with unnie and Rosé as well.

"I won't miss one of the best group hugs ever!" We heard Jennie unnie's voice and she ran and joined the hug as well.

"I'm so proud of you, Lisayah." Jennie said when we all pulled away. "Thank you unnie!"

After that, Lisa went to the dressing room to change and take pictures of the event. The remaining of us walked back to the main area. Time check, 8:30pm. This will end soon.

As we reached the main area, a slow song started playing. It's the part of the event where everyone can dance with their dates or anyone they desire to dance with.

I can't spot Nayeon anywhere. I looked around and saw that Jisoo unnie and Rosé are already dancing together.
