《BE ALRIGHT》10

Once I finished taking a shower I immediately went downstairs to grab some breakfast before leaving. I didn't bother checking if Jennie's alright now since I've been keeping an eye on her last night and she's back to her temperature and she rested the whole night.

I just wore casual yellow hoodie jeans and a pair of shoes since today's the day where each student will bring a family member, a friend, or a girlfriend/boyfriend for our fest which is just random performances and foods that are prepared by different grade level and the school told us to invite people if possible.

I

just grabbed a biscuit and chocolate milk and started eating when I heard footsteps from the living room so M.r Kang's probably waiting already. I kept eating when Jennie walks in wearing work attire.

"Are you going to work?do you even feel alright now?" I said taking a sip from my chocolate milk.

"Who said I'm going to work? " she asked looking at me

"You're dressed up" I stated

"I'm coming to your school" she said nonchalantly making me shock by the statement

"You're coming? " I asked once again and she walks towards the fridge to grab milk and grabbed the cereals as well

"Your friend texted me last night about it and she asked if I'm coming. Why didn't you tell me? " she said pouring the cereals and the milk down on her bowl

"Wel... I don't bring anyone each year and they're used to that so I don't think it's appropriate to tell you since you still have work" I said eating the last bite of my biscuit

"I took the day off. I'll go just because I owe you something from staying up last night to look at my temperature" she said so I looked up at him... I can't believe she's saying this "I just don't like the thought that I owe you something so I'll pay you back today" she said pulling her gaze away and started eating her cereals making me smile as I nod

"You should change into casual clothes. We're not going to your office anyway" I said since she's wearing this coat and stuff. I stood up and grab Kuku's food pouring it on his bowl before walking out to the living room seeing Mr. Kang smiling at me so I greeted him.

---

We were already in the car waiting for Jennie when she went out with a couple of guards around her. Does she have to bring some guards with her?

---

When we get there Mr. Kang opens up the door for the both of us so I went out and so does Jennie who immediately caught so much attention from the students around. I walk next to Jennie and was about to hook my arm on her when she started walking away from me.

"

Lisayah! " I heard Jisoo shouting from the hallway so I walk towards her and she hugged me and I started scolding her about telling Jennie.

"Jennie Kim this is Jisoo my best friend" I said and Jennie just nodded back at Jisoo.

"Your girlfriend's rude" she whispered to my ear and I just shrugged it off when I felt an arm wrapping around my shoulders.

"Lisayah " I heard bambam from my back and immediately smiled as I turn around and hugged him and he just stayed like that not letting go "lisayah didn't you miss me? " he asked being clingy all the time.

"Lisa" I heard Jennie said from my back so I pushed bambam away for a bit to look at her raising my brows

"I need to go to the restroom" she said so I nodded and started pointing it but she pulled me with her towards the restroom.

I'm just standing here watching as she retouched her make up making me frown "I thought you'll use the restroom? " I said looking at her through the mirror

"I'm using it now" she said and when she's done she just leave me right there. I really can't understand Jennie sometimes.

We started walking to the field and some people started taking pictures of Jennie. I mean, of course, they wouldn't try asking to take pictures with them cause they'll be terrified so they just take a picture of Jennie without her knowing.

"Jennie Kim, let's go there. Some people will perform and I'll watch" I said when we get to the field.

"There's no chair there. I'm gonna sit at the bench" she said and started walking towards a bench with the guards following her.

I look towards Jisoo and bambam and wave my hand for them to go without me which they were unsure of since I always join them whenever this fest happens.

I walk towards the bench and sit right next to Jennie keeping some space since she doesn't want it when I'm too close.

"Do you want to eat? " I asked pointing at a few stalls here and there and she just nodded back at me. I was about to stand up when she ordered the guard to order instead.

When the guard went back he started putting the foods down and when I'm about to get some Jennie looked at me.. Or more like glared at me "did I tell you that we'll share? " she asked making me sigh as I just sit there trying to look at the stage and it's so hard to see the performances from here.

It's great having Jennie but it's also great to go around and do what I want to do.

"Lisa, why aren't you there to watch? " one of my classmates from one subject asked while Jennie's busy eating

"Uh... My feet hurt, maybe later" I said making an excuse as she nodded and wave bye to me. After a couple of minutes, Jennie finished eating and she just sat there looking around not even saying anything towards me.

"Miss Kim " our principal went out greeting Jennie and all she did was nod. "I would like to get Lisa for a moment since we want to invite her for a short performance" he said. I look behind him and saw that some teachers and the student committee are there waiting for Jennie to say yes. They probably wanted to ask me but Jennie's right beside me.

"I'm not Lisa why should I decide for her? " she said back to the principal
