Kusuo woke up with the alarm clock waking him up. How odd, he usually wakes up before the alarm clock. But whatever. He quickly got up and took a bath, the hot water immediately waking him up. He changed into the school uniform, before combing his hair using a brush. Soft as always.
He ran downstairs, before freezing. Ah, it must be those days. Those days where the Saiki Family feels lazy! It is quite a strange phenomenon. Of course, Kusuo knows a way to immediately shake it off, Kusuke's too busy thinking of destroying the world to be tired, while the rest... hah. Of course, Kuniharu or the father was already lazy.
"I guess I'll cook breakfast for myself." He sighed. He quickly whipped up a fucking buffet. Like what the hell? The fact he's canonly good at everything makes me cry. Please, give me some of your marty sueness. He ate some of the food, the dish making HIMSELF think about how good it was.
(i'll let you imagine what he ate. apologies, but thinking is simply overrated for me. /j)
He obviously cooked lunch and coffee jelly, in which he put it in his lunchbox. He got his backpack and ran to school in the speed of light. Oh wait- He forgot about Hinata. He ran to Hinata's house. He rang the doorbell. "Hello?" He asked, looking for the hyperactive spiker.
Hinata opened the door with a happy grin on his face. "Saiki!" He smiled, hugging him. Damn. Hello SCP 999, Your hugs give me euphoria. He smiled softly, making the ginger practically melt. He took his bike, to which Saiki said no. "Don't worry.. I can take you from school to here immediately." He explained, not even lying.
Hinata was about to refuse immediately, but He saw Saiki's gentle expression and found no reason to not refuse. Hinata can trust him, Both have agility anyway. He took Hinata's hand and literally sprinted to the school like Sonic idfk. So much for hiding your powers.
Eh, Hinata was dense anyway.
Hinata gushed over how quick it was, making his Likability higher. Not that it wasn't already high, but whatever. I mean, Saiki didn't even know this. He just wanted to help him especially with the steep ass hill Hinata already has. In the corner of his eye, he spotted a certain black haired setter.
'Kageyama.' He thought. The setter saw both of them and walked over to them. "Hey." Kageyama greeted. "Hello?" He furrowed his brows. Hinata quickly stuck his tongue out, signalling the rivalry between them. Kageyama glared at the ginger, who just hid behind Saiki.
"Ugh, Whatever. Just go to class." He closed his eyes in frustration. Saiki pursed his lips, before just nodding and walking away, Hinata's hand not in his. Hinata realised Saiki went away, and immediately went after him. Kageyama was the last one to walk there. Why did Kageyama even wait for Saiki? Spoiler Alert: He wanted to be his friend.
He was never going to admit that, in his mind or out loud.
Saiki reached the class, making him sigh a breathe of relief. Saiki quickly made a beeline to his seat, ignoring the stares. Yamaguchi was already in his seat. Yamaguchi hummed, seeing Saiki sprinting to his seat. "Hello." Yamaguchi muttered after seeing his pretty boy seatmate already beside him.
"Hello.." He replied, a little worn out. Yamaguchi bit his tongue, trying to not say it already. "Can we be friends?" Oh dear. He already said it. He covered his mouth, glancing to Saiki to see if he was annoyed. Saiki wasn't, he was just confused. "Eh?" He blinked in confusion.

"Aha.. Please ignore that." He laughed awkwardly. Saiki seemed to process things, before getting his consciousness back. "Eh.... Sure I guess." He shrugged, making Yamaguchi choke. Tsukishima smirked. 'Told him he can get friends.' He smiled fondly, before the soft sight quickly vanished.
SOFT + OOC TSUKI 🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️
Suddenly, the Teacher came in. The people immediately went to their spots, as they started the new lesson.
It was finally lunch, a 'subject' loved by all. Saiki tried to hide his smile as boring lessons he already knew about were finally over.. well technically it wasn't over already, but let the kid dream! Yamaguchi beside him sighed in relief, the green-haired boy narrowing his gaze to look at Saiki.
"Hey, do you wanna eat lunch with me and Tsukki?" The greenette gave the pinknette a wide toothy grin. "Sure." Saiki nodded, and in the corner of his eye he could see the blonde staring at the two of them. Yamaguchi cheered happily, Saiki could only imagine the delicious lunch.
"Let's go." Tsukishima mumbled, which made Yamaguchi flinch. "A-Ah... Right..I thought you were a ghost..." Yamaguchi scratched the nape of his neck, making Tsuki snicker quietly. Yamaguchi shot a glare, but it quickly turned into a fond smile. Both of them began snickering and Saiki was trying to not get affected by the contagious snickers. (chocolate?)
They calmed down after a few minutes of simple laughter, then they got up. They covered their mouth while smiling, the blush on their face due to their laughter. Yamaguchi wiped a fake tear from his eye, grinning ear to ear. God, all it was was a small comment. Jesus christ.
Yamaguchi and Tsukishima started walking out. Hinata was going to go with Saiki, but Saiki told him that he was gonna eat lunch with someone else. Hinata frowned, but he nodded in understanding with a sad smile. "You do deserve other friends." He grinned slightly.
Before Hinata was going away, Saiki stopped him. "You're in the Volleyball club, right?" Saiki asked. Hinata nodded, eyebrows raised slightly, confused. "Can I.. join the club?" He shifted his gaze, grinning awkwardly. Hinata stood still for a moment, before a glint appeared in his eye.
Slowly, his eyes filled with sparkles. "REALLY?! DO YOU THINK VOLLEYBALL IS GOOD JUST BY A FEW THINGS?! THAT MEANS YOU'LL REALLY LIKE IT IF YOU CONTINUE!!!! PLUS YOU'RE REALLY GOOD SO YOU'LL MAKE A GREAT ADDITION TO THE TEAM!" He yelled, excitement in his features.
Saiki covered his ears, giving Hinata a crooked smile. "But.. I'm a beginner, right?" Saiki raised an eyebrow. "But.." Hinata pouted. "If you want to join the club, you have to have the basic information and the basic skills." He explained. "Plus.." He grinned slightly, making Saiki a bit suspicious of him. "You can always lie, right?" He winked.
Both of them just stood there, while the others in the room were background characters who genuinely didn't care about the new chaotic shit happening again. At first, Saiki was going to refuse. But then, a voice (guess who the fuck it was 🧏♀️🧏♀️🧏♀️) was murmuring at the back of his head.
'Dude, you already hide so much. Plus, the plot is important. It's already all over the place, please don't wait until chapter 20 to agree to even join. This isn't a slowburn... right?" A feminine voice huffed, making him blink. "Alright." He pursed his lips. "LET'S GO!" Hinata cheered, jumping almost hitting the ceiling. Saiki's jaw dropped, fear in his eyes for his dear friend.

Aww, saiki- Shut up you incompetent writer. You rude mother fucke-
Saiki sat next to the two childhood friends. The two were muttering and snickering, sort of like a gossip group. "And then She said she saw her dad come out of the closet with another girl! Then- Oh hey Saiki!" Yamaguchi grinned, trying to stifle his laugh.
Tsukishima moved his body forward, looking at the pink-haired dude beside Yamaguchi while also being beside Yamaguchi. "Hello." He muttered like he just woke up. Saiki opened his mouth and closed it, narrowing his eyes away. Saiki took his lunchbox, while the other two just GASPED at that beautiful creation.
*insert really slay lunch you'd kill to have*
*insert chibi saiki giving it to you-*
Saiki shifted his gaze to look at the two gaping friends. "Ehem?" Saiki cleared his throat, trying to get the attention of the duo. "A-Ah! Sorry for staring, Saiki. It's just.. woah." His eyes sparkled like Hinata's. Saiki sweatdropped. Two different people.. so similar.
"Your mom, dad or the person who created your lunch must be talented!" Yamaguchi gushed. "Thanks... I guess. It didn't take long to make." Saiki shrugged, before breaking his chopsticks to eat the food. It took a while for both of them to realise, but then they got the hint.
"You... You're a great chef." Tsukishima blurted out, awestruck. "Thanks." Saiki replied dryly, eyes still fixated on the beautiful creation. He took a bite and instantly felt instant euphoria! He rested his palm his cheek, signaling the delicacy's effect on Saiki. A slight blush covered his cheek due to the happiness. His smile was as warm as the sun.

The people in the cafeteria, who were obviously affected by his charm, began fucking crying on the spot mentally. God decided to bless them at that very moment. The people who sat closest to him were affected the most, head in hands and a rosy shade of red covering their pale cheeks.
Saiki stared at the two, tilting his head in confusion and gaining mental groans on how cute this man is. Basically everyone turned gay or bisexual. Slay. "H-Hey Saiki, can I try a bit of your food?..." Yamaguchi stuttered, eyes watering. Saiki shrugged. He gave a bit of his food to the other.
Yamaguchi immediately chomped it. Tsukishima was awaiting his friend's reaction. Yamaguchi was in pure bliss. Tsukishima would have made fun of him, but he perfectly understood. He pat his back, scrunching his nose in the process.
The cafeteria was silent, heck, even the lunch lady was just stunned and awestruck at the pink-haired pretty boy. Hinata was fucking sobbing in his seat, while Kageyama was close to passing out. Everyone in the vicinity were trying their best to pay attention on their food, rather than pay attention to the etheral pink haired dude.
Basically, Lunch was a mess. Ehhh.. it technically was clean as hell.
(help im sobbing HOW DO CAFETERIAS IN JAPAN WORK????? LIKE I'M BEGGING ON MY KNEES RN HOW DOES IT WORK /gen)
Hinata pulled Saiki over when school was over. "Ready to meet your new club mates?" He grinned cheekily. Saiki just sighed, though the plastered smile said otherwise. Hinata was in a pretty good mood today. That's nice. Hinata practically dragged Saiki to the gym, making him blink confusedly.
"And we're here!" Hinata grinned, proudly showing it as if it was a rare antique in a museum. "Eh?.." tilted his head in confusion. I mean, Saiki already knew where the gym was. After all, he already waited outside for Hinata a chapter ago, right? Plus, this isn't even the ri-
Hinata quickly barged through the doors, making the people in the gym rapidly turn their heads. "Who are you? We already have all of our players." An unfamiliar voice spoke. "Ah, Is that Hinata? He usually gets lost here, and accidentally goes to the basketball gym instead of the volley one." A softer voice muttered.
Hinata blushed in embarrassment, trying his best to stutter out a reply. "S-S-Sorry Sukima-Chan!" He bowed. "Haha! It's fine, Hinata. Though, you're practically a member with how many times you've mistaken the two gyms." They teased, making him shut the door immediately.
There was an uncomfortable silence for a while, before Hinata whistled and dragged Saiki to the correct gym. "We're here!" He grinned, opening the doors immediately. Saiki blinked. That was impossibly quick. Was Hinata a psi-user too? Eh, you can find that on my now deleted story, Foul - Hinata Harem - Saiki K x Haikyuu.
Stop plugging your books that are deleted already.
So anyway-
"Hinata!" Daichi warmly smiled at the boy. "Hey Daichi!" He waved excitedly. "Who's your friend?" Daichi raised an eyebrow, pointing to the esper. "Hello. I am Saiki Kusuo." He bowed politely. Daichi chuckled, amused by the first year's respect.
(yaknow, saiki was originally a 2nd year in the anime.)
"So, Saiki. Are you going to sign up for the club or are you gonna watch your friend?" He asked. "Who're you talking- Oh! Is this the friend you told us about?" Suga asked, looking at the pretty boy. "Yeah, Suga! Also, Daichi. He wants to join the club!" He chirruped, answering both questions.
"You wanna join the club? What's your position?" Daichi tilted his head, a big question mark appearing then slowly disappearing into the air. "I'm a.." He trailed off, narrowing his gaze. He didn't think about this. Maybe he should say All-Rounder like all the other fics did.
"I'm a-" Saiki began to say, before getting cut off by his ginger friend. "He's a wing spiker!" Hinata grinned, patting his friend's back. "He's as good as me." He laughed slightly. Daichi's eyes widened. "You aren't much of a person who'd give up their pride like that.." He sweat dropped.
"Eh.... I can give up my pride when i'm telling the truth. Sometimes." He whispered the last part, shifting his gaze away nervously. Saiki blinked. Oh yeah, that's basically who he is. He did a quick google search on google. How did he get out of his body to know that? Well... uhm... Good weather, right?
i literally looked through ALL his powers/abilities in fandom.com but i didn't see anything that can help me in this situation WTF
"Hm.. So can you show us your power?" Daichi asked. Saiki nearly WHIPPED HIS HEAD. Goddamnit, people word things weirdly when you're a psychic. "Sure." He muttered. He picked up a random ball and jumped into the air like Hinata, and slammed it down. Luckily, it seems as if I'm on his side. It didn't pop.
Thank god. nO- Thank moi.
The people in the gym were silent, before Kageyama literally stared at disbelief on who did it. Yamaguchi and Tsukishima literally were SPEECHLESS, while the rest who didn't know him were just like: oh look another pretty boy who can jump as high as mount Everest and is extremely good at spiking. Yay.
"That was so cool! Who are you?" Tanaka grinned. "I'm Saiki Kusuo." He muttered, moving to the sise of the court where Tanaka and Noya were. "So.. Kusuo, right?" Nishinoya grinned. "Ehm.. It's Sai-" He began. "Nice to meet you Kusuo! I'm Nishinoya Yuu, but people call me Noya!" He chirruped, interrupting the poor psychic.
'I already deal with too many people who call me Kusuo.' Saiki sighed, shaking his head. "Hah.. sorry for Noya, he just did this rolling thunder or whatever that ridiculous defense name was. I'm Daichi Sawamura, the captain." Daichi smiled, reaching his hand out to the pink-haired boy.
"Uh.. Hello, Daichi." He narrowed his gaze, nervous. "I'm Sugawara Koshi! Co-captain, ex setter." He grinned, pointing two thumbs at himself. The brown-haired captain sighed and spared a glance to Suga, eyebrows tilted. The silver-haired setter just stuck his tongue out and smirked, seemingly triumphant.
What a weird team.
"Ah.. Hello, I'm Shimizu Kiyoko." She bowed respectfully. The two troublemakers; Nishinoya and Tanaka Ryuu were fawning over her immediately. A blonde-haired girl with pigtails peeped to look at what was going on, shocked to see a pink-haired boy in there.
"He..Hello?" She waved, a worried expression on her face. "That's Yachi Hitoka." Kiyoko explained, pointing to the girl with blonde hair. "I'm Ennoshita. The one over there is Kinnoshita and the guy there is Narita." A black haired boy lowered his arm.
Saiki sighed. Then, a man with blonde hair entered the gym. "New club member?" He raised an eyebrow. Daichi nodded, which made the middle-aged man nod in understanding. "I'm Coach Ukai. If another teacher comes in, he's Mr. Takeda. He has black hair." He muttered.
Saiki nodded, understanding the information. "Alright, let's go and warm up. If you didn't know, new guy, we're going against Nekoma soon for a practice match. We have extra training now." He scratched the nape of his neck, blinking slightly every few seconds.
Saiki froze.
