"Looking gorgeous as ever! Look here, Y/N!"

Since Y/N wasn't in the mood to tolerate these paparazzi invading her space, she just kept her head down while covering her eyes from the flashes of their cameras.

Even though she's been in the music industry for so many years now, it still shocked her how paparazzis can always know where she's at. It's like someone is tipping them off about her whereabouts.

"Please get out of the way." Y/N said over their loud shoutings and the clicking sounds of their cameras.

She's just trying to walk towards this restaurant to meet with her family for a special dinner tonight but these paparazzi don't know what personal space is. She drove herself there, that means that she's alone and no bodyguards with her. But thankfully, some of the guards of the restaurant came to clear the way for her.

"Thank you so much." Y/N said to the guards that helped her.

They all smiled at her and said their welcomes and have a great night.

Though, soon as Y/N stepped foot inside the

restaurant, a question from one of the paparazzis caught her attention.

"Y/N! What do you feel about Scarlett Johansson's engagement announcement?!"

Y/N controlled her emotions and didn't react, and just walked inside. As soon as the door behind her closed, she sighed. But she quickly masked her emotions and smiled when she was led to the VIP room where her family was. It's a special occasion, so Y/N wanted to have their privacy.

But if she's being honest, she doesn't want to come tonight. If it weren't for her dad and grandmother, she really wouldn't come.

"Here's the room, Ms. L/N. You can just press the button inside if you guys are ready to order." The guy that led her to the VIP room said, smiling politely.

Y/N smiled, "Okay, thank you."

Once the guy walked away, Y/N took a deep breath before opening the door.

Conversations stopped once she walked in and her family excitedly greeted her, standing up to give her a hug.

Y/N smiled, hugging them back. She hugged her dad and grandmother extra tight, kissing their cheeks.

"Hey, cous!" Someone spoke from behind.

Y/N pulled away from her grandmother and sighed before turning back, seeing her cousin smirking at her. How much she hates this guy, and to think that he's the one celebrating tonight makes it worse. If it really weren't for her grandmother, she would have cut him off from her life years ago. He's a douchebag and a brat. He even uses Y/N's fame to gain himself some "followers".

But that's not even the worst part why she hates him, there's more. And it's something that she will never forgive him for.

"Brad." Y/N said, clenching her jaw when Brad hugged her. She just patted his back with one hand, not hugging him back.

Brad pulled away and smirked, "Come here, babe." He said, opening his arms for someone.

A woman walked up to them and Brad immediately

wrapped an arm around her shoulders.

"Y/N..." The woman greeted, smiling a little.

Y/N's heart clenched, but she remained calm. She nodded her head at the woman, "Scarlett."

Brad smirked. "I'm really glad that you came tonight for the small dinner celebration of our engagement." He said.

Y/N forced herself to look away from Scarlett. Her gaze turned to Brad, and all she wanted to do was to just punch his face until that ugly and annoying smirk was wiped off. But she remained calm. She faked her smile and raised an eyebrow, "I don't think you can afford to have your dinner here without me, Brad. So think of this as an early wedding gift." She said and glanced at Scarlett before she turned around and walk to her seat.

Brad frowned, clenching his jaw. But he can't really say anything because it was true, Y/N was the one paying for tonight.

The main reason why Y/N couldn't move on. After Scarlett changed, she started dating Brad. Y/N's cousin. And Y/N can still see Scarlett around, there's no escaping her.

Scarlett's decision to date Brad is still a mystery to everyone because they weren't even friends to begin with; they had never talked before. Well, Brad would be around if he knew Scarlett was hanging out with Y/N because he liked her. But still, and Scarlett even said before that she doesn't like Brad because he's lazy and can be a creep. So when Y/N found out that they started going out, it was like salt to her open wounds.

And now they're engaged?

Brad doesn't even have a stable job. Y/N knows that Scarlett have her own money and she doesn't need a man or anyone for money because she's got her own. But Y/N thinks that Scarlett deserves to be treated like a queen because that's what she is and she deserves the world.

Sure, you can treat someone like a queen without really spending that much. Efforts and all the little things are enough. But that's the thing, Brad also failed when it comes to making efforts and noticing the little things about Scarlett. It's like all he cares about is that Scarlett is hot and famous, that's how he described Scarlett before and when Y/N heard it, she kicked him out of her house. Literally kicked him out. He was lucky that was the only thing that Y/N did, kicking him. She doesn't like the way he was talking about her like that; it creeps her out and it's disrespectful to Scarlett.

"Oh, Y/N, sweetie," Carmen () looked at Y/N.

"Yes, auntie?" Y/N asked, looking at her auntie.

"We were just talking about this beautiful place, it's good for a small trip. We should all go! Let's say for two to three days, just before we start planning the wedding." Carmen said, smiling.

Y/N looked at Scarlett and their eyes met, and she hates how her heart started beating wild because of it. She clenched her jaw when Brad pulled Scarlett's face to his direction, kissing her lips. It disgusted her and it pained her. She looked away when she felt a hand on her arm. It was her dad.

"You don't have to come, darling." Y/F/N said. ()

"Listen to your dad," Y/GM/N said, giving Y/N a smile. ()

Y/N smiles at them, "Well, are you two coming?"

Y/N's father shrugged, and Y/N knew just what it meant. He needs to come because this is actually her mother's side of the family, and knowing her father and his love for his late wife, he would still spend some time with them. And of course because of Y/GM/N, the mother of his wife.

"I'll come." Y/N said, smiling a little. As much as she wants to avoid this, she doesn't have the heart to let her father go without her. And she knows her Nana would want her there.

Her family cheered, Y/GM/N smiles and caressed Y/N's cheek. Y/N just smiled and looked at Scarlett again, and the actress is already looking at her. She can see mix emotions in her eyes and it makes her heart ache because she can see sadness in them. She doesn't know why it's there, why Scarlett is sad. If only the actress would just talk to her.

This is gonna be a long and painful trip. Y/N thought before she looked away from those green eyes that speaks thousands of emotions.
