"You need to start thinking for yourself Marti," my father stated as he read the newspaper. "You can't be running around trying to please everyone else and always staying disappointed."

"I know but they're my friends," I protested.

"They almost got you arrested, you're lucky you're not being used in jail right now," he said a little more annoyed.

"Dear calm down, we did the same things in our youth as Marti," my mother said and kissed my head. "I'm just happy you're home now and not with them."

"I am too," I said honestly.

I just got busted for drug trafficking. I had two pounds on me in a backpack and was snatched by cops almost instantly. I need to rethink my life. Or at least get smarter at what I do. The business is so good in a place like this I can't just quit. It's so close to the preppy private schools and the dumb rich kids who'll buy over priced drugs. It's a literal gold mine for small time dealers like me, Jackson, and Ian.

"Go upstairs I need to talk to your mother," my father grumbled. I nodded and went upstairs.

I don't blame him for being upset. I could've gotten seriously injured...

I woke up and wiped my eyes. I was sixteen years old that day. I can't believe that was three years ago... business is still as great as before but I'm trapped now.

"Good morning Marti," Trevor said standing in the door way. He walked over to me with a smirk on his face, "you're quite cute with that look you had on your face the other night," he chuckled and kissed me. I blushed as I was still sore from that night, and he laughed, "too cute."

"What are we doing today?" I asked.

"Same old same old, were going to be moving some shrooms today however," he said with a smile.

"Oh interesting, I wonder who our customers will be," I said.

He smirked, "I bet you do."

I got cold from that, so I know the people we are selling to today? Or what? Why does he need to talk like that...

He gripped my chin and kissed me with more force. "You're so cute when you make a confused face like that," he pinned my wrists down and gripped them until I winced out. "Squeal for me," he said and grabbed my stomach and gripped the skin, making me shriek in pain. He put his hand over my mouth and stopped and stared at me. "Those tears," he said and kissed my cheeks. He licked my tears up and smiled at me.

"T-Trevor..." I said looking away.

He pulled my face back, "your tears are almost as delicious as your body." He started kissing the skin he pulled and running his fingers along it softly.

I couldn't help but blush at what he was saying. Am I insane for liking this?

Yes. Yes I am.

"Time for us to go over the rainbow and hand out some candy bags," Trevor said chuckling while we walked through the forest.

We arrived at the first house to see flashing little lights everywhere inside and a small fog machine.

Music was playing, some dubstep song, I wasn't sure what it was.

"Heyyy Clown man," the guy who walked up to us said. "I hope you're doing well."

"Hey, I hope you are too," Trevor said as he pulled the bag of shrooms out.

The guy pulled out cash and handed it to him, around 600$ worth. I'm finally used to seeing money especially for weed but not really for mushrooms. I'm not sure how much this is. I don't know whether Trevor is ripping this dude off or not.

"I would love to stay as I usually do but we have a lot of runs today, can I catch a rain check?" Trevor spoke.

"Sure not a problem, text me sometime and we'll hang out, you can bring bunny boy along, he seems chill," the guy said and winked at me then winked at Trevor.

At least he seems nice.

"Sure sure, I'll see ya," Trevor said and we walked out of the house.

We made so many runs today my legs felt like they were going to die. I don't know why Trevor wanted to walk. I looked over at him and he seemed completely fine. I was drinking water like crazy and peeing all over the place in the forest, marking my territory unintentionally. This has been awful. I know it's great exercise but what the fuck man? How are you still alive?

"Getting tired?" He chuckled as we got inside the house. I laid on the ground.

I pulled the mask off and let my arm fall. "Leave me for a few moments," I said dramatically.

"Oh yes my prince," Trevor said and bowed laughing. He got the chain and locked my ankles in. He walked over to the kitchen and start making some food. "So we're gonna move soon. To a new house."

"Oh yeah? Where at?" I asked.

"Another forest," He said and chopped the vegetables.

I stood up and walked over and sat at the counter. "What kinda house?" I asked.

"A nicer one. Not a camper like this one is." He explained. He pulled a magazine from the drawer and opened it and pointed to a glass looking house in dark woods.

"Looks expensive," I said in surprise.

"Not for me," he smirked. I looked at him in a bit of shock, I know we work every day but I didn't think a house like that would be inexpensive for him.

He cooks every day, doesn't drive much, runs drugs every day for at least 6-12 hours, and doesn't go out much and spend money or buy a ton of things.

"We'll be packing tonight and leaving this house tomorrow. This house is going to be demolished and control burned." He explained and continued chopping vegetables. "So make sure you get everything out because this house will be no more." He started on the chicken and seasonings.

"Good to know," I said. Not like I have many items anyways, I just wear Trevor's clothes.

"You'll be a lot more comfortable there by the way, there's gonna be an art room." He said and cracked some eggs in a bowl.

"An art room?" I inquired.

"A room you can go into and make art and look at said art on the walls." He pointed to a room in the magazine with tall walls. "Something like that."

I smiled at the thought. I'm excited we'll be out of this house but I know it doesn't make me anymore free just because I'm somewhere nicer. I need to remember that. Though I know I never would've lived like this otherwise.

I'm not sure what to think exactly. I'm excited for the future but also terrified. What exactly is going to happen when we get there? Will he bore of me sooner?

"Would you like me to help cook?" I asked.

"No you'd probably put rat poison in the food." He chuckled.

I laughed a bit back, "I just wanted to help is all."
