(n.) The Euphoria of falling in love for the first time...

"So what do you think I should buy him?" asked Cecily from Donghae as they drove along the most richest streets in New York. Everywhere he looked, Donghae saw designer branded shops which sold bone crackingly expensive stuff.

Donghae thought hard for a second, for all that short time they had been together, Jake had never shown any interest in almost anything, it was useless thinking of what he might want when Jake Maranzano had everything he freaking needed.

"Um" said Donghae, unsure of what to say to her "well, for one thing, he really likes watches"

"Watches??" asked Cecy frowning "I fucking want something better than that!"

Donghae let out an annoyed sigh, he and Cecily had been arguing with each other for hours now and they still couldn't get into a solid agreement about what to buy for Jake,

"I want to buy him something really expensive" Cecily had said first "it should be really showy!!"

"Well" she had said half an hour later, "not that showy too, because I don't think Jake likes showy stuff...it should be plain"

It was impossible not to get mad at her, so Donghae only answered her in syllables which didnt affect her very much. She was used to hearing the sound of her own fucking voice.

"Halt!!" she suddenly said while Donghae jammed on the breaks "I've got a terrific idea!!" she said enthusiastically.

"What?" asked Donghae, parking the car on the side of the road.

"I'll buy him a solid gold bracelet" she said. "Let's go back to Harry Winston"

Donghae sighed and turned back to Madison Avenue. When they both entered the spotless showroom, an attendant came right up to them, smiling

"Good morning Miss. DeMeo" she said bowing slightly "what can we offer you today?"

Cecily took a moment to compose herself "gold bracelets, for gentlemen" she said.

The attendant's smile became huge.

"Ofcourse mademoiselle, please follow me so that I can show you our latest collection! Just came only yester-"

"Stay here" whispered Cecily to Donghae and left after the attendant.

Donghae looked around and watched how the lights reflected on all the glittering jewellery those were on display, he saw earings with tear drop shaped emeralds and necklaces with electric blue sapphires.

As he looked around, he saw a glittering silver chain, hanging from it was the white part of Ying-Yang symbol. Donghae walked upto the clear display cupboard and gazed at it. Then he saw the other half of the pendant hanging on the chain behind it.

"It's a couple necklace" said a voice from behind and Donghae suddenly turned to see an old man standing besides him. Probably the owner of the shop.

"The necklace is made with the hope that the ones who wear it will stay together forever" he said.

"Oh I er-" stuttered Donghae at loss of what to say.

"Are you not sure whether that person has the same feelings for you?" asked the man.

"Im not sure if that's the problem in my case" said Donghae hurriedly.

"Then why don't you present it to that person? Maybe love will bloom inbetween you two one day" said the old man chuckling as he walked away, leaving Donghae staring at the two necklaces.

"So did you find something?" asked Donghae when both of them got back to the car.

"No" huffed Cecily and started applying lipstick "all those were too showy for Jake"

"So where now?"

"Back to Audi showroom..." said Cecily, finally making up her mind "I'm gonna buy him a goddamn car"

Before they got back to the manor, Cecily's phone rang and she picked up the call hurriedly.

"Oh hey Nick! Are we all set for tonight?" she asked laughing "yeah near the pool, make sure that everyone turns up and Maranzano should never know, got that?"

"Tonight?" asked Donghae while Cecily put the phone back into her purse.

"Yeah at midnight" she said "and no word about this to Jake do you understand?" she asked in a threatning voice and Donghae nodded while rolling his eyes.

When they came upstairs to the living room, Jake was sitting on the sofa, looking thunderous for some reason.

"Jakey" said Cecily uncertainly, but Jake didn't change his expression.

"And where the hell did you take my bodyguard?" he asked, with a slight nod towards Donghae.

"Ohhh" said Cecily, trying to soothe the matter over "I just wanted to do some shopping and I-"

"Who's oders do you follow?" asked Hyukjae looking directly at him. "Her's or mine?"

Nobody could deny the unmistakable ring of dominance in his voice.

"Jake" said Donghae stepping infront of Cecily "I couldn't very well let her go alone"

Without saying a word, Hyukjae got up and left the room.

"Jake!" called out Donghae and ran after him into his room. Hyukjae was leaning against the huge mahogany table and was regarding him stonnily as he walked up to him.

"Hyukjae" said Donghae gently "please understand...she asked me to come and I couldn't say no"

"She could've fucking asked someone else!" said Hyukjae quietly, his blue-gray eyes luminous.

"Maybe there wasn't anyone-" began Donghae weakly but Jake cut him off.

"Then what about me Donghae?" he asked softly. "Arn't I your priority now?"

Donghae was shocked, Hyukjae had never spoken to him like this, but what was his problem anyways? He was fucking guarding his girlfriend! He should be relieved instead!!

"You are my priority" said Donghae and he got a terrible feeling of dejàvu. "But I don't see the problem to be honest, I was just protecting your-"

"I dont fucking care!" yelled Hyukjae "I need you here with me and I don't give a fuck about whom she goes out with! here after don't fucking leave me without asking! got that!?"

"Yes sir" said Donghae "I got that"

Hmmmm.... I feel so lonely right now
