When they finally got back to the basement carpark, Luca joined them and took the car keys from Donghae and got into the driving seat while Donghae and Hyukjae got in at the back.

Soon they were back at the highway, and having nothing better to do, Donghae started counting the number of buildings those were whizzing past him.

"Did you inform them that we are arriving?" asked Hyukjae; glancing back from his phone.

Luca shook his head, "better give them a nasty little surprise don't you think boss?"

Jake gave a grunt of approval, "Alvarez did keep a low profile all this time" he said; not taking his eyes off the phone "I never expected him to be an idiot"

Luca tuttered "you can never trust people, they are no better than fucking donkeys sometimes" he said, moving his eyes onto the rear mirror to look at Donghae "especially when drunk"

Donghae turned red, and he completely missed the light smile that played on Jake's lips as he tapped at his phone.

"Luca?" said Donghae; putting on his best doe eyed expression, "Im sorry"

"You have to be brat" said Luca, accelerating the car, "but thank god your stupidity got both of you home before anything happened"

"And I want to thank you" said Donghae and noticed Hyukjae keep his phone away to look at the scene.

"Thank me for fucking what?" grunted Luca.

"For..um..bringing me..us home" said Donghae taking a quick glance at Hyukjae who was looking steadily at him. "I was too drunk to take any responsibility and..I'm sorry"

Luca jammed on the break, "I did NOT fucking take you home" he yelled making Donghae blanch.

What the fuck? so who...?

In the next moment, the truth slammed home for Donghae, Jake! It had been Jake!! Oh the shitty em-BARRASSMENT!!!!

Memories came gushing back to his mind, the long corridor, the splitting headache, the moans and gasps coming out from different rooms, the unlocked door, the scream and....Jake-

"Oh my fucking god" swore Donghae as he kept his hand on his forhead "what the hell have I done"

"You did a great deal" said Hyukjae "thank me later"

"Jake...I'm-"

"If you say that you're sorry one more time, I will throw you out of this motherfucking car!"

Donghae heard Luca give a bark of laughter from the front, and Donghae looked into Hyukjae's eyes, he somehow wanted Jake to know that he really wanted to apologize.

Jake looked back at him, his blue-gray eyes taking him in slowly, and for a moment Donghae saw him taking a ragged breath and his pupils dialated, but somehow, the invisible pull that held them together was broken when Luca honked loudly at the car infront of them and both Donghae and Hyukjae turned awkwardly away from each other.

'What the hell was that?' thought Donghae; his cheeks flaming 'Lee Donghae! Come back to your fucking senses!'

"Donghae?" he heard Jake say softly from the other end "you are too idiotic for your own good"

When they parked the car up the building that looked like it was near falling apart, it looked deserted. There was no movement when the three of them walked up the steps.

"Hmm" said Luca, holding his revolver 18, "looks like they've got the news from somewhere"

"Or expected it" said Jake "they clearly didn't complete their mission"

"Because they weren't well trained" said Luca.

But Donghae had a feeling of a presence in the building, when he glanced up the at the windows, he thought he saw a movement, but then again...

"I don't feel good about here" said Donghae and Jake gave him a worried look, for the first time.

"You told me that yesterday too" said Jake "at the party, did you feel the same way that you are feeling now?"

Donghae nodded "I have a feeling that we are being watched"

When they got inside the building, it was only half lit, a basic mafia place, with paint coming off the walls and cigarette stumps everywhere on the floor.

"Stay close to me" said Luca "Donghae, protect your principle at all cost"

Before he could say anything, a gun shot came out of nowhere, making the wall behind Donghae, blast into pieces.

"Attack!" yelled a voice and suddenly through the dust and dim lighting, Donghae saw several men coming towards them,

Both Donghae and Jake took out their Title 18s at the same time, and Hyukjae kicked out viciously at one man who came close.

"We need to find Alvarez" said Hyukjae "fast before he tries to fucking escape"

"Right" said Donghae "stay close to me, you ready?"

Jake gave a nodd and smiled at him, "I'll enjoy this"

Turning around, he shot out at different places, earning startled shout and grunt of pain while Donghae lurched forward, kicking out at the man nearest to him and twisting his hands until the bones cracked, he simultaneously kicked out at on the man's jaw, sending him reeling back,

Donghae glanced at Luca and saw him destroying men into smithereens and Hyukjae giving a spinning backhand at a man and shooting the unfortunate guy on the forehead.

One man was stupid enough to charge at them, with his hands a little up below the normal guard line, thus being entirely open to a spinning roundhouse kick, and Jake, without a second thought, grabbed Donghae's hand and pulled him aside, and kicked out at the man that had been behind him while Donghae finished him off with a bone cracking punch.

As more and more people poeple kept coming, Luca fought his way toward Donghae and Jake,

"You two go!" he panted "I'll distract them"

Hyukjae gave a nodd but Donghae gave the heavily breathing man a pat on the shoulder.

"Stay safe" he said and Luca grunted

"You too...now run!"

Donghae grabbed hold of Jake's hand and pulled him toward the corner of the room and both of them ran up the stairs while Luca ran to another direction,

"Where do you think he is?" asked Donghae panting as they came up to the third floor

"I think-" began Jake but Donghae imediately pulled him towards a branching steep little corridor and placed a hand on Jake's mouth, silencing him as they heard some men coming in their way.

It was dim inside the corridor, and Hyukjae was suddenly caught up by the feeling of how close they were, with their bodies almost touching, all the sounds began to fade away from him as he concentrated on the dark haired boy who stood infront of him with his hand on his mouth and his gun lightly pressing on his leg although he wasn't aware of it, with the dim light, casting shadows on his flawless jawline an his dark long eyelashes looking like damped spikes because he was sweating so much.

'is this fucking reality?' thought Hyukjae as he looked at him, 'why do I feel...like this?'

Donghae eased his hand on Hyukjae's lips as he heard the voices fade away into the distance, Hyukjae didn't protest, he wasn't even making a sound, and Donghae finally looked at him and saw Jake looking right back at him, with his eyes looking startlingly luminous in the dark...

'God' thought Donghae; totally unaware that he was thinking this at all 'if handsomeness exists'

He had to admit, looking at Hyukjae, right now, made him actually forget where he was, and Hyukjae felt strong... his domineering power pulsed through him and Donghae gasped, because Hyukjae never stopped looking at him either; and for the first time, Donghae noticed a part of tattoo of a great Falcon on his left collarbone.

"a-are they gone yet?" asked Jake and Donghae noticed his fast breathing.

"I think so" he said and Hyukjae slid his hand inbetween them and moved the pistol away from his leg,

"Let's go" said Jake before Donghae had time to realize what he did.

"What were you saying before-" started Donghae but Jake cut him off by answering fast

"I was saying that there are levels in mafia, the higher your rank is, the higher you stay"

"got it" said Donghae as the reached the last floor, there was only one room and both of them silently walked over to it,

Glancing in, they saw an old Brazilian man standing behind his desk, but the odd thing was that there were no one to guard him.

Donghae signalled Jake to stay close as they both went inside the room, pointing their pistols at the man's chest. Donghae kicked the door shut behind him.

"Master Maranzano" he squeaked "always a pleasure"

"Not anymore I guess Alvarez" said Jake; looking stonnily at the man. "I don't consider trying to kill you guest comes under the definiton of pleasure"

"Oh but it does" said Alvarez as Jake came and carelessly sat down on the chair infront of him and kept his legs on the table,

"So" said Hyukjae "what is this thing about Aiden Luciano?"

The man's breath hitched when he heard the name. He suddenly glanced at Donghae with a slight silver of recognition passing through his face while a little of his confident look drained out from him.

"How did you-"

"Don't try to play innocent with me Alvarez, it never works" said Jake in a dangerous voice.

"I wanted to help him" said Alvarez "his father was betrayed by your father-"

"What. The fuck are you talking about?!!" shouted Hyukjae, crashing his fist on the table.

"Its your father's fault, Alexi was caught by the police!" shouted Alvarez "he begged Leonard to save him! But he turned and walked away! I was there!!!"

"So the spineless idiot told the whole police about everything just because his ass felt betrayed!?" said Hyukjae; his voice deadly calm.

"Yes!!" shouted the man "he did it to save his family! His son was not yet 6!"

"And I was not yet 8" said Hyukjae icily.

"You see Hyukjae" said the man, "It's everyone to themselves now and Alexi was loyal to Leonard!!"

"But not till the end"

"You don't understand Jake" said the man "you are too young to know about life, give up this search, let the family live-"

Suddenly Donghae heard a double gun shot and the man fell back agaisnt the chair, already dead with a thin line of blood trickling down from the corner of his mouth.

"No" said Hyukjae slowly "I won't"

He glanced back at Donghae and saw his expression, it was pain, etched by fear. Then only he noticed the blood that had started to soak up the side of his shirt. All his worries vanished for a second as he stared at Donghae's uncomplaining figure. His eyes were teary and he was shaking.

"Donghae?" whispered Jake and went near his bodygaurd and placed his hand on his bloody shirt, "are you ok? When did this?-"

"Its alright" said Donghae, taking Jake's hand away from him "Let's go Jake, there's no point in staying here"

But just as he was turning to leave, Hyukjae caught his hand and turned him around, and saw tears streaming down his face

Pain, loss, fear...Donghae felt everything, Hyukjae was so damn self centered, but it wasn't his fault, he had grown up learning to never give people a second chance...

But when Hyukjae turned him around, tears had already begun to fall from his eyes and Donghae desperately tried to find an excuse for it

"It hurts" cried Donghae and burst into tears.
