CHAPTER TEN

SUGAR DADDY

joined the crowd of other upperclassmen who stood around the two senior boys who were fighting about god knows what. The taller of the two had the short red head pinned to the ground. The administration would not take kindly to the pair. At Jefferson Academy, there was no tolerance for any form of altercation, physical or verbal.

The blonde simply watched the immature boys, adding another reason to her list of why she liked men that weren't her age. Older men tended not to solve problems with their fist and if they didn't it wasn't over something stupid.

Seconds later, security walked in along with the principal who looked extremely pissed. However, that man always looked like he had a stick up his ass, one that refused to come out.

After the fight was broken up and the two seniors were reluctantly taken away, the cafeteria returned to normal as if nothing had happened. Cindy and her four closest friends sat at their high top table. They aimlessly chatted about their weekend plans.

"That's a belt I haven't seen before," Thomas interrupted Zander mid-sentence, his eyes on the accessory looped in his best friend's jeans. "And I've been through your wardrobe so many times that I practically know everything you own."

The teenager continued to sip on her chocolate milkshake, trying to ignore the stares from her friends as they waited on an answer. Sighing, she gave in. "I bought it."

"No you didn't." Thomas quickly caught onto her lie, "You would have sent me pictures before you bought it. You get my opinion before you buy anything. Literally anything."

Ria nodded her head in agreement, knowing very well the habits of the girl she had grown up with. "He's got a point. Remember that one time you sent me a picture of tampon boxes and asked which one you should get?"

"Ria!" Cindy shrieked, her cheeks becoming a cherry red in embarrassment. Leaning across the table, the girl smacked her girl friend on the hand. "Shut up!"

"Why would Alexandria care what goes into your pussy?" Zander asked. "As long as it isn't Luke's dick, I don't think she cares."

"I can confirm my dick has never been in her pussy." Luke jumped in, looking seriously at his girlfriend. "Ria owns this dick."

Thomas, Cindy, and Xander started gagging and shoving their fingers down their throats to make it seem like they were going to throw up.

"No one wants to hear that! We're getting off topic!" Thomas steered the conversation back towards Cindy, making her the subject of interest again.

"Duncan bought it for me." She mumbled, not wanting to see the 'I knew it' looks on Thomas and Alexandria's faces.

"What is he, like your sugar daddy now?"

The girl looked up at Zander and shrugged her shoulders. Dipping her pointer finger into her drink, she licked the chocolate ice cream off her finger before answering, "Maybe."

"So your friends think I'm your sugar daddy now? Even though I'm married to your mother?" Shepherd questioned, typing away on his laptop. Even though he had important business to attend to, he tried his best to make time for Cindy.

The two had become extremely close since their last altercation. In fact, all fighting had completely ceased. From an outsiders perspective, they were the perfect stepfather and stepdaughter duo. However, there had not been another kiss and the two tried to keep physical contact at a minimum. No matter how much either of them wanted it, they were too nervous about someone finding out and their faces being posted on every tabloid with a scandalous title above it.

Because of the situation, the man had begun to show his affection for the girl in other ways: making more time for her and buying her an unnecessary amount of gifts. He had literally tried to buy her a new car but the girl had refused and finally talked him out of it after an hour.

"If you think about it, that's basically what you are. Sugar daddies buy their sugar babies gifts in return for their time. I practically get rewarded for spending time with you."

The business man stopped typing, his blue eyes focusing on the teenager who sat in the leather chair in front of his desk. He no longer had a humorous smile on his face but a serious look. "Don't say that. You're my stepdaughter and I'm simply trying to build a fatherly relationship with you. I reward you for not being a brat like you were a month ago."

She knew what he was trying to do. He was trying to avoid the situation. They both fully understood how awful the predicament they were in was. He was married to her mother and was extremely attracted to his stepdaughter. He was a thirty year old man who kissed a seventeen year old. They never talked about the situation even though they both knew they would have to address it eventually.

The rational part of Cindy's brain perfectly agreed that the two needed to avoid the situation. It was wrong, completely wrong. However, ever since they had sort of confessed their feelings for one another, Cindy found herself wanting him even more. She couldn't explain it but she just wanted him. Thankfully, her rational side always prevailed over her irrational side.

Deep down, it hurt her. But she would never let him know that.
