《Amethyst x Reader (Steven Universe)》Chapter 3

"Yo, (y/n)! Get up, man!" A voice yelled. You rubbed your eyes, Turing on your phone and looking at the time. "Amethyst, it's 8:00, what the hell?" You whined, tossing your phone aside and and covering your face with a pillow. "It's not THAT early. I could have woken you up at 7." She nudged you. "C'mon." You rolled over, grumbling.
Suddenly there was a weight on top of you. Taking the pillow off of your face, you found yourself looking into the eyes of a purple-skinned gem, who was currently straddling you. You blushed at the position you were in, and Amethyst smirked. "Like what you see~?"
You threw the pillow at her, then sprang up and tackled her. "You wish." You said playfully, pinning her arms to her sides in a giant hug. "Aww, you are too cute, (y/n)" amethyst giggled. Suddenly you remembered something.
"Wait, how did you get into my house?"
Amethyst smirked. "Lets just say you shouldn't leave your windows open at night." You gasped and punched her shoulder lightly. "Wow, what a creep!" You joked. Standing up, you took Amethyst's hand and began to pull her out of the room. "Move your butt. I gotta get dressed." You said. The purple gem suddenly had a mischievous look on her face. "What makes you think I'd want to leave~?"
Blushing furiously, you shoved her out the door. "Haha, bye."
You could her her pacing behind the closed (and locked) door. Truthfully, you wouldn't mind if Amethyst was in the room, but you weren't taking any chances this early in the morning, especially with your parents home. Still a little pink in the cheeks, you threw on a basic T-shirt and shorts, combed your hair, and packed a small bag of snacks and money. You had a fun plan for today. After unlocking the door, you took Amethyst's hand and made your way to the front door. "Where we goin?" she asked as you slipped on a pair of sandals. "Its a surprise!" Running out the door, you giggled as the gem pestered you to reveal the secret.

"Patience, young one." Amethyst rolled her eyes at your dorkiness, and let you drag her to your destination.
After a few minutes of walking, you squeezed your girlfriend's hand as rollercoasters and a multitude of bright tents and flashy vendors came into view. Amethyst jumped up and down in excitement. "Aw, sweet! The state fair!" She leaned over and pecked you on the cheek. "You know me too well, (y/n)." You smiled, happy that Amethyst was so excited about this. "So, where should we go first?" you inquired-but Amethyst had already taken off towards the food vendors. It wasn't difficult to catch up to her though, since you were a bit taller and had been on many cross country teams. (sorry if you hate running/aren't good at it, just pretend you are for the sake of the plot :3) You grabbed her arm, bringing her to a halt, and she turned around with a pout on her face. "Aw, I'm hungry! Why we stoppin'?"
You sighed, "It's probably not the best idea to eat a lot of food right before going on rides, Ame." She rolled her eyes. "But I I NEED to eat something."
You smirked, then leaned down to whisper in her ear.
"I know something you can eat~."
Amethyst gasped slightly, a surprised expression on her face, but it quickly faded away and was replaced by a smooth voice and a smirk.
"Oh, really? And what might that be~?"
"My dust!"
And with that, you took off towards the rides.
~Mini Time Skip~
When Amethyst finally caught up to you, you just winked and made an innapropriate comment about "riding." Riding the rollercoasters of course.
Amethyst was really adorable when she was pouting, or when she was the one doing the blushing. After lightly teasing her, you both decided to ride the teacups, and afterwards Amethyst was grateful that you hadn't let her eat anything. You rode the carousel just for fun, and then got in line for the ferris wheel.

You had always loved them, especially at night, when you could see all of the twinkling stars and the lights of Beach City and its surrounding area. Amethyst had apparently never been on one, which you couldn't believe. "I'm really surprised you've never been on one of these before!" You exclaimed. "I know, it's crazy, right?" Amethyst said, as you both stepped into the cart. The ride attendant closed the door to the carriage and pulled the lever, starting the ride. Amethyst was practically hanging out of the window, and you pulled her back in. "Ame, they'll kick you off the ride if you don't stay inside of the carriage!" You scolded, pushing her into the seat. "Jeez, who called the fun police? You sound like Pearl, (y/n)." She joked.
"Aw, come on. I'm nothing like Pearl." You whined. The purple gem rolled her eyes. You scooted over to your girlfriend, placing one hand on her waist, the other on her cheek. "Would Pearl do this?" You said, voice low, as you captured her lips in a passionate kiss. Amethyst pressed into you eagerly, wrapping one arm around your waist and the other on the back of your neck. You quickly pulled away, and Amethyst made a noise of discontent. "Hey, just as it was getting good." She frowned. "I'm pretty sure the attendant and people in line wouldn't be too happy if they saw we were having a makeout session." You explained, and the carriage came closer to the ground. The gem crossed her arms and huffed, even though she agreed with you.
The ride ended, and you both climbed out. "Well, it's getting dark, this place will be closing soon." You sighed. Amethyst wrapped an arm around your waist, nodding. You both began the walk back, a comfortable silence between you. Amethyst stopped and pulled you into a hug.
"Thank you for today, (y/n). I had an awesome time. Especially on the Ferris wheel."
You laughed, resting your head on her shoulder. "I'm glad you enjoyed it, Ame. And I'm glad you liked the ferris wheel, too." You giggled, kissing her neck.
"C'mon, you big tease." Amethyst chuckled, pulling you towards your house.
~Time Skip~
You flopped down onto the couch, kicking your shoes off with a happy sigh. "Holy shit, my feet are sore." Amethyst sat down next to you, then laid across your legs.
"Hey (y/n), my ass is sore. Wanna give me a massage~?" Your girlfriend said slyly. At this, you felt the color rise in your cheeks.
"How about just a back rub."

I hope you all liked it! I went to the state fair a little while ago, and I thought it would make an excellent prompt! My feet did get very sore, too.

The Infinite Labyrinth
(Story complete - Book 1 "Shanghaied", 2 "Shortcuts", 3 "Secrets" and 4 "Sanctions") It is the 19th century, and war smoulders between England and France. Any hope for a quick end to Napoleon's rampage across Europe ended when the Great Gates opened in 1800. For a fortunate few, the strange world of the Infinite Labyrinth offers opportunities, strange descriptors popping in their minds, informing them of growth, and status beyond that of a mere mortal. The materials and power crystal they bring back foster a new age, both military and civilian. Aether-powered Skyships prowl the skies, as all the great nations blessed by the Gates try to turn the blessings of the Labyrinth into immediate advantages. But for Jonas, an apprentice leatherworker, his friend Ira, and so many Londoners, the fabled ones that walk the Labyrinth are distant heroes, seen from afar. They fell short when their Potential was measured, and they fill their mundane lives with distant dreams. One man wants to break the stalemate. The Tyrant of the Dominion of France, Napoleon Bonaparte, has a plan. Eighteen years after the world changed, he will force it to change again. And when civilians are caught in the fallout, the unthinkable happens. Six people, unqualified, forbidden to ever enter the Labyrinth, find themselves stranded in a distant zone, forcefully turned into Professionals. They know little of what that means, but they have to figure out the rules that are now their lot, for they have little hope to escape their predicament otherwise. They need to understand what the descriptors in their minds mean, what each of the strange piece of gear waiting in treasure chests behind terrible guardians can bring them. They have to become Professionals on their own and rejoin the Empire. They will figure out their new lives one way or another. But will there be an Empire waiting for them when the Gates re-open? Caught in a clash of empires and high tiers, they will do what little they can. They will step up and do their best. One way or another. The Infinite Labyrinth is a slice-of-life litRPG adventure set in a real historical setting. It's a hard, crunchy litrpg. Expect blue boxes everywhere, and the system itself is very mathy. It started life as a serial. I prepared some proper worldbuilding, with enough details and background for lots of different potential story arcs, but as I wrote, I realized the main story needs to have a definitive end. So, there are four books in total, for a bit under 1500 pages, plus additional side stories, and even maybe a sequel one day. The Gore tag was added as a precaution because there are a few scenes with some light gore.

Demons Don't Lie
Algier, average human and recent convict, has committed the gravest sin of all: demon slaying. His fate? To participate in the Culling, a battle-royale style tournament that’s televised live to the world, where all the worst criminals go to die. As with all tournaments, a prize is on the line. If Algier survives, he can have any wish granted by the Marquises, the new rulers of Earth following the demons’ invasion. However, there’s little hope for survival in a tournament designed to have demons do the work of the executioner, especially for a human. Demons are stronger, faster, wiser, and more talented than the average human, and, despite his crime, Algier is no demon hunter. Mentally defeated before the tournament even begins, Algier is torn between becoming another demon’s points and fighting on in his dead mother’s legacy. But should he choose to fight, there is one advantage that Algier has that can tip the odds in his favour: Demons don’t lie, but humans can. How to read this story Demons Don't Lie is written from the perspective of an unreliable (lying) narrator. There are many inconsistencies within the story which are placed there intentionally. It's up to the reader to decide what is the truth and what is the lie. Promotion Full quality cover image

Criminal Lord
Terry Isenburg, the greatest assassin who killed thousands of powerful officials and even led an army of people to reform the world had finally killed his final target after many years of suffering and effort. Changing the world was in sight. Until he was betrayed... Although, even in the abyss of death, two choices were placed before Terry. Enter the Trial or Hell? Watch how the man who nearly took over the world now attempts to take over a world of sword, monster, magic, and one hella strong tarantula... I made this story because I always wanted a dark fantasy isekai with a hella fine backstory rather than an idiot being run over as well as having sustainable, epic scenes with a badass main character. All of which I believe my story has. (Although I'm bad at managing levels and experience and I have little imagery since I hate imagery) One other thing, the first volume may be kinda boring/repetitive but I can guarantee loads of badass action in volume 2 so please stick around. (I would also appreciate the views) If you like or dislike the story, please write a comment or review about this story to help me improve, but please don't hate on the story without explaining why. I also hope that you readers share the story to give me more support. Thanks and I hope you enjoy the story. [The cover is something I made poorly but it represents something in chapter 9-10]
