Superheroes were amazing. They were always there to save the day, and protect everyone who need protecting. They were the best of the best, and nobody could beat them.

I opened the list of heroes, villains and vigilantes. Reading through it was my favourite thing to do.

CREPITUS

Gender: Male

Power:The ability to create explosions and control the strength of explosions

Name Origin: 'Explosion' in Latin

Weapon: Trident

Years on the job: 5

LUCENDI

Gender: Male

Power: The ability to summon lighting with his trident and immobilise (freeze in place) his enemies by simply touching his 'Totem Of Undying' necklace

Name Origin: 'Lightning' in Latin

Weapon: Trident

Years on the job: 1

ZAEIM

Gender: He uses all pronouns, but is generally referred to as a male by the public.

Power: the ability to know everything about someone just by looking at them, and to freeze anyone/anything he looks at (He can choose who/what he freezes, it isn't everything he looks at)

Name Origin: 'Leader' in Arabic

Weapon: diamond sword

Years on the job: 3

ROYAL

Gender: Male

Power: the ability to manipulate water and fire.

Name Origin: named after royal purple, which is 1. His favourite colour, and 2. A mix of blue and red, which are the colour of his glasses

Weapon: Doesn't use one, a knife if he absolutely has to

Years on the job: 2

Other: he often works with Azalea, and they have been fondly nicknamed 'Team Rocket Duo' by the public

AZALEA

Gender: Female

Power: The ability to manipulate/control plants

Name Origin: named after pink azalea flowers, as pink is her favourite colour

Weapon: Scythe

Years on the job: 2

Other: she often works with Royal, and they have been fondly nicknamed 'Team Rocket Duo' by the public

GEMSTONE

Gender: Male

Power: the ability to shoot dagger like shards of diamond and harden his skin with a thin layer of diamonds

Name Origin: his first idea was Diamond, but he felt that that was a bit too flashy, so he went with Gemstone

Weapon: Diamond Axe

Years on the job: 3 and 1/2

SWIFT

Gender: Male

Power: he has feathery crow like wings and can control birds

Name Origin: named after his flight speed

Weapon: bow and arrow

Years on the job: 16

Other: his fans fondly refer to him as the Crow Father, as he tends to favour controlling crows over other birds

CAPTAIN PUFFY

Gender: Female

Power: she can shapeshift and is a master of disguise. She can manipulate water.

Name Origin: The 'Captain' part came from her fascination with pirates, and 'Puffy' is her nickname. Unlike other heroes, her name is not associated with her powers

Weapon: explosives, throwing knives

Years on the job: 12

Other: it is rumoured that she is Lucendi's mother, as she shows more affection towards him than any other hero, and acts in a motherly way towards him.

I sighed. "I wish I could be a hero..."
