I been tryna figure out how tf this mariah girl found out my business. We as in sharife,omar,Mr.cooper,are going back to my house to get the rest of my stuff. I'm turning 18 tomorrow so I no longer have to live under my moms roof.
As we arrived I seen his care in the drive way like always.
I got out the car with sharife behind me. He swore he had to go in with me but I mean its protection I guess. We walked to the door and I opened it with the spare key I never gave back.
"who is that opening more door" I heard my mom say from the kitchen
"Whatbare you doing in my house" she said coming out the kitchen
"I wont be here long just getting my stuff" I said grabbing sharifes hand and dragging me upstairs.
When I walked into my room I seen all my stuff in boxes and baby supplies sitting around.
"Wow" I said under my breathe
It was only 2 boxes so me and sharife grabbed one and walked back downstairs.
"I see you arent having trouble living by yourself" she said as I walked past her
"I'm not by myself, I'm living with a family that loves me more than you ever did" I said with no remorse
"Nobody can treat you better than I did " she said eyeing me
"Well they didnt kick me out, so I guess that's a lie" I said walking out
I know I couldve said something slicker but to be honest that shit really hurt my feelings.
"You okay" sharife said ad we o ur the stuff in the trunk
I nodded in return worried that if I speak my vocal cords will crack.

As soon as we got home I hurriedly grabbed a box from the trunk and made my way inside. I made a straight walk up the stairs and sat the box down, I fell on the bed head first letting my tears fall.

"Jay"sharife said walking into the room
I hummed in response.
"Why would you tell me you were okay if you werent" he sat next to me on the bed
"Cause I was" I lied trying to make myself sound as normal as possible
"Come here" he said grabbing me and putting me in his arms
"I'm fine" I said holding my tears back
"But ur not, you can let them fall" he said looking dead in my eyes.
I let the tears fall putting my head into his shoulder.
"You know I got you forever and always" he said hugging me tight.
"I hope so" I said like the meme
We laughed and played down. We went to the house in pajamas so theres really no reason for us to change. We laid in bed till sun down.
"I like you" sharife said as we went to sleep
"I like you too " I said drifting so sleep after

So why not offload the curse to someone else? Mortals throw their lives away for all manner of petty reasons, noble or otherwise, especially in desperation. Eventually, someone will be willing to foot the bill. Most will if given the chance. The bait is far too tempting, after all. Power, status, knowledge. All at their fingertips. If only they say “yes”. And Apollyon is very willing to help any lost souls. If they give up everything in return, of course.

There, he meets the kids of super heroes such as Spiderman, the Hulk, and even Thor. He makes friends and enemies. Being a super hero is easy; surviving high school with a ton of super-powered, emotionally unstable teenagers, now that is the hard part.
