Jayln
"Jayln, wake yo ass up" my mom yelled from downstairs.
Stirring in my sleep I wake up. As I get up I punch the air. Today was my first day going to a new school for my senior year. Mceachern High school.
Getting up I put on a black Adidas tracksuit with some white vans. Going downstairs I ate some cereal and hot ready to head to the car with my mom. When we pulled up to the school I got out and walked inside. (Change the outfit if you want)
When i tell u everyone was staring, I mean everyone. Like damn act like they never seen a person before.
I wall to the office.
"Excuse me" I say politely.
"Yes" the lady at the desk says looking up at me with a smile.
"Uh I'm new here my name is Jayln Johnson"
"Oh yes give me a second "
I wait patiently for her to do what she needed to do.
"Here you go sweetie, hope u like it here" she says smiling handing me a paper with a sticky note on it.
The paper was my schedule and the sticky note was my locker number and combination.
I walk to my first class that was already late to cause it took me a year to find it.
As I walk in everyone breaks there necks to see what was happening.
"Who are you" the teacher asks with a little attitude.
Sweetie I dont wanna be here either.
I hand her my schedule.
"Oh ok" she says looking at it," you can sit by sharife over there" she says pointing to an empty seat next to a boy.
He was kinda fine doe.
So me being my happy self I decided to talk to him. I sit next to him and look at him.

"Hi" i say smiling obnoxiously.
"Wassup" he said looking down.
He shyyyy.
"Awe u shy" I said laughing.
He laughed to.
That smileee.
"Ur my new bestfriend" I said smiling.
"Ight" he said laughing
"Ms. Johnson is there something you would like to share with the class".
"Girl the whole class is talking" I mumbled under my breathe.
"What was that?" She asks being petty.
"Nothing ma'am " I said with a petty smile on my face.
..........
At the end of my 5th period it was finally lunch. Leaving out the class I went to my locker putting my stuff in there. Walking into the cafeteria I walked to a random empty table not really wanting to eat that nasty ass lunch. I got on my phone and just scrolled through insta for a while till I felt a presence in front of me.
Looking up I seen sharife In front of me.
"Dont u have friends " I asked amused.
"Yeah but they can wait"
"Oh so he does speak full sentences" I said surprised.
He shrugged
"Go to ur friends and then meet me after lunch" I say wanting him to sit with his friends instead of boring me.
"Ight if u insist " he says getting up from the chair, " u better not leave me either " he adds.
"I wont"

8 117The Programmer's Dungeon [Progression, LitRPG]
Vincent, a college student from Earth, has been transported to another world full of strange powers and fantastic monsters. Ideally, this would be the start of his journey to become a legendary hero, build an everlasting empire, and gather a personal harem. But no one said that this new world would be easy… After escaping an assassination that accidentally befell him, he was forced to become a Dungeon Master. What will an average programmer student do when he finds out that he can code the dungeon? Vanquish those savages above with his tech and savviness — along with an army of golems? “Wait, this world isn’t even medieval?!” With all the questions piling up in his head, Vincent is set to uncover all these secrets! And… conquer the world, perhaps? The hard reboot of “The Programmer’s Dungeon.” It has an almost completely different plot, cast, and storyline, so expect tons of improvement from the old one. Disclaimer: This is a softcore LitRPG story; there are stats but no levels. Also, the LitRPG element isn’t the main focus of the story itself and is more of a support. I have enabled the reader’s suggestion, and therefore, you can correct any grammar mistakes and typos you find in the story. There will definitely be some that I miss. Cheers! The cover was made by Jack0fheart, so a shout-out for him. Releasing 3 chapters per week at 12.00 GMT on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday with at least 2000+ words. 8 342Lorian Ellins [Dropped]
Lorian found himself in the medieval European style world, thinking he went back in time. However, upon inquiring, he realized history, customs and as such were different. This was a whole new world he knew nothing about. A place where powerful were respected and feared, a place where monsters and different races existed. After a lucky encounter, Lorian manages to secure a job, home and survival. However, the world is large and ready to be explored. Lorian won't be lost in mediocrity. This is his destiny. Nonetheless, everyone starts at a low point in life. Fast growth and OPness seemed impossible even with the help of the system. , Life is neither a game nor a bunch of numbers. It's far more complex and unpredictable. We don't know where we stand in the future, or is there even future prepared for us? I always thought that overused motto in wuxia novels, '' I want to control my destiny '' was cliche and we had less control over our lives as they are dictated by many other factors. This world taught me otherwise, thus this place shall be my new beginning. '' PS: The cover is not mine. It was randomly found on the internet. Author's disclosure: My purpose in this novel is to explore trading and adventure in a magic world. I'll try to put some humor and good fights in the novel to make it more fun. This is a spin-off novel of AK – The Alchemy Kingdom. You don't have to read the other novel to understand or follow this one. It might offer some additional information and entertainment, tough. You can also check my other spin-off novel, Harbinger of Death, which will be more action-focused and a little grimdark. Even if you are not a fan of the genre, give it a chance. I'm adding some soft romance in the hopes to make it unique and interesting. I'm trying to improve my writing skills, so your comments and reviews are welcome. New chapters three times a week. 8 79The Runners of Westal
Anya Vorian wasn't picky. She'd take any apprenticeship that came her way. She, Lori and Andrew had prepared all winter for the interviews, but when only one offer came with her name on it, she suddenly wasn't so sure that she could do it. It was hard work, for one thing. It was dirty. They were respected, certainly, but in the sort of way that one respects a skilled plumber - grateful to have the job done, but glad it isn't your arms elbow deep in dung. In short, runners were odd folk. Maybe it was time to get fast. - A first-person tale inspired by long distance running.
