When the time showed them it was already three thirty in the afternoon, Jordan went downstairs after she finished ordering some coffee beans from a roastery for her coffee shop.

"I'll go, guys." She told them.

Brandon and Cassidy were busy behind the counter, some teenagers were enjoying their day in her coffee shop and Jordan smiled at the view. Emma walked to the front bringing some sandwiches and met Jordan in the doorway.

"Enjoy the rest of your day, boss." Emma said while putting the sandwiches on a tray and Cassidy grabbed the tray immediately.

Jordan saw how her coffee shop went daily. Just like this. Emma was her cook, Brandon was her barista and Cassidy was both waitress and barista. Jordan herself was flexible, but when she had her day off from the bar, she would help them until it was closed at six in the afternoon.

Jordan waited until the three of them was a little bit free. "You guys okay if I leave?"

"Sure thing." Brandon smiled, giving Jordan a thumbs up.

"Yeah, it's okay." Cassidy added.

Jordan looked at the kitchen and she heard Emma shouted. "I'm okay."

Jordan smiled. "Thanks, guys."

Then she went out to the car and revved the engine. It was her other job, bartending in a bar at night. She did that to kill her time because she felt lonely every night since that day.

The day when all of her hopes died. The day when her love died. The day when her soul died. And they day when her world died.

She lost her fiancée in a car accident three years ago in their hometown.

She did everything to occupy her mind so she wouldn't think about her misery even more even though she knew, every day was the same.

She couldn't forget her. She couldn't get over it. She loved her. And her fiancée took Jordan's love when she died.

Here she was, living a fake life. She couldn't bring the best in her after that day. She was cold inside, a little bit warm outside when it came to her closest friends like her employees or her family. They knew, but they wouldn't cross the line because they had a huge respect towards her.

By the time she arrived, her other coworkers were already there. She parked her car in the parking lot and made her way to the bar, changing her clothes to the bar uniform, a simple black polo T-shirt.

She worked at 4pm until 10pm, she knew she only took a parttime job because she needed to open her coffee shop early in the morning so she wouldn't get easily tired to do a double job.

The night went wild, but Jordan got used to it. It was her life, her daily life so she tried to enjoy every moment even though she didn't feel anything inside.

"She was looking at you the entire time before she left, dude." Mitch said.

Jordan slightly smiled. "Not interested."

Mitch rolled his eyes. He couldn't understand why Jordan always rejected everyone who tried to hit on her. Jordan was like a goddess bartender in that bar, she attracted both gender in every way and she made more money than any employees in there.

But he didn't know that Jordan had closed her heart to anybody whoever they were, how attractive they were and how incredible they were. She just couldn't open her heart again.

"Nice tattoo." A woman sat on the bar stool right in front of Jordan.

Jordan glanced at her. "Thank you."

"Can I have a Mojito, please?" The woman said.

"Coming right up." Jordan replied formally.

The woman kept looking at Jordan's figure, starting from her tattooed arms, her tattooed neck and to her piercing ears. Jordan smiled, she knew it so well. Being a bartender for six months taught her something, to use her sense when someone checked her out or kept staring at her.

"Mojito." Jordan gave the woman her fake smile.

The woman placed a few bucks, one to pay her drink and one to tip Jordan. Jordan mouthed a 'thank you' and got back to work but the woman kept glancing at her some of the time.

Jordan ignored the woman all night long because she didn't want to hook up with her. She didn't do such that thing and wasted her time for doing something unnecessary because she already gave her whole heart to the woman she loved the most, her dead fiancée.

After a long night at the bar, Jordan drove home with a heavy sighed. She rubbed her temple because today was exhausting, she just needed to go home, she wanted a relax night, plus it was raining. A perfect combination to take a rest. Tomorrow was her day off from the bar, so she could stay fully at home.

Her coffee shop came into view, finally she was home, her escape place. But then she was shocked when she saw someone, no, two people were laying at her coffee shop terrace, and seemed to fall asleep with a bag as a pillow. The light was dim, all Jordan could see was the black hoodie the person wore.

Then she parked her car, climbed out from her car and didn't bother to bring her umbrella because she was curious as to who that people were, it was eleven at night though. The two people didn't wake up when Jordan walked closer to them.

Jordan prepared for the worst possibility, maybe those two people were just acting like a homeless then they would rob her. But when she saw someone smaller than the other, her heart sank. There was a little girl, cuddled up and seemed like they were cold.

"What the fuck is going on?" She asked to herself.
