Haven cried herself to sleep after telling her story. Since she was a baby, she was going through the same routine every day for twenty-one years. I cover Haven up and sit down beside her sleeping body. "I'm sorry you went through all of that."

I run my fingers through her hair and she groans in her sleep. I hear the front door open and head downstairs. "Niall!! I'm not drunk!!" Rylee yells out to me as she is being carried by Jay, "Me and Ty will be back down. He's putting Kylie to bed right now."

I go to the living room and sit down on the couch with a heavy sigh. "Haven still didn't tell me why she ran off. I don't want to ask her after she just told me her story."

"Talking to yourself, are we?" Ty says with a half smile on his face. "More of thinking out loud. Y'all had fun?" He nods his head, "Yeah, the girls and Adam got drunk. Me and Jay stayed sober to make sure you were alright." Jay comes down and sits down beside Ty.

"Nothing's going on between me and Haven, you know that right? She said she had something in her eye." I run my fingers through my hair, "What were you two talking about in the car for a whole hour?" He sucks in a breath and shakes his head, "I still can't tell you that?" I roll my eyes, "Why the secrecy? Why can't you tell me?" He shrugs his shoulders and laughs, "I don't know, Haven doesn't want me to say anything."

I roll my eyes and groan, "She told me what she remembered from the past. He called himself daddy." Ty scrunches up his face and I groan, "I'm getting really annoyed right now." I say as I stand up to get us all a drink, "We only know that he's around here. Haven was running and she wasn't just running for nothing. She saw something or someone."

All of a sudden Haven comes in, "What's wrong? Had a bad dream?" She shakes her head and sits beside me, "You weren't there." She sits down beside me and I pull her into my lap. She puts her face in between my neck and shoulder, seconds later she instantly falls asleep.

"I don't think I'm going to be able to hold back." They both give me a confused look, "When we find him, I'm going to do more than just break his nose. He's either going to be dead or he's going to wish he's dead." I stand up with Haven in my arms, "I'm going to bed. See y'all in the morning."

Niall walks upstairs and I look at Ty, "What do you think about Haven and Niall?" He shrugs his shoulders, "Niall cares for Haven more than a caregiver should. I feel like he has feelings for her, but I don't know. Haven only wants Niall and nobody else." I nod my head in agreement, "Yeah, you're right about that. What happens if Niall finds someone else? What will happen with Haven? I'm just thinking of the worse, it's a low chance that Niall will find someone else."

Ty clears his throat, "I feel like he doesn't want to admit to his feelings because he doesn't want to feel like he's taking advantage of her." I show him a half smile, "It will all work out eventually. So, how long have you and Kylie been dating?" He lets out a soft laugh, "We just started dating, but we've been on a lot of dates. What about you and Rylee?" I shrug my shoulders, "Same. Although we fight over something petty every day."

I stand up and stretch, "Hopefully Niall will catch on to his feelings towards Haven." We head to our rooms, "Hopefully. I'll see you in the morning. Night."

"Night."

"My head is banging." I look over at Rylee, "You did drink a whole bottle to yourself." She rolls her eyes as she walks to the bathroom.

I walk downstairs and see Niall cooking breakfast. Haven looks at me and smiles, "He liked his gift." I smile at her and Niall laughs, "Why are you cooking on your birthday?" He shrugs his shoulders, "I don't know, but you all will be cooking me dinner." I sit down beside Haven, "I'm not going to complain since it's your birthday."

I notice a ring on Haven's finger, "Where did you get the ring from?" She points at Niall and smile, "He won it in a game yesterday. He's putting his ring on a chain." Niall sets a plate in front of Haven, "I'm actually shocked that the rings are real. I thought they would be plastic."

Niall phones start ringing and he ignores it, "Why don't you pick it up?" He sits down and turns his phone off, "It's my dad."

"You're still upset with him?" I shrug my shoulders, "I don't know what I am. He kept something hidden from me and I feel like he's hiding something else. I'll pick up next time he calls." Rafiki reaches for my plate and I hand him some bacon, "You working or chilling today?"

I can celebrate my birthday some other time, "Working. The quicker we get this over with the better." I look at Haven and she feeds Bean some of her sausages, "Don't feed Bean from the table." She nods her head, "Niall, you cooked on your birthday?" Ty asks as he walks in the kitchen, "Yeah, I told Jay that you all will be cooking for me for dinner."

My phone starts ringing and I stand up, "I'm going to take this. I'll be back." I walk up to my room, "Hello."

"You finally picked up. Happy Birthday, son!" I let out a low chuckle, "Thanks, dad." Silence takes over us for three whole minutes, "I'm sorry I didn't tell you the truth about Haven. I was trying to protect you both by saying she was found in the UK. Being found in the UK is not big in the line of work we work in. If I had said Japan the whole world would still be at your door waiting for answers." Haven peeks in and I call her over, "I'm sorry for overreacting. I didn't know how else to react."

I sit down on the floor and Haven sits in between my legs. "What you doing for your birthday?" I shrug my shoulders, "I'm going to work now and celebrate later." He lets out a soft laugh, "Jesus! You are just like your father!! Always working! Do you think Haven wants to see you work all the time?!"

I pull the phone away from my ear as my mother rants. "If I have to fly over there to make you stop working, I will and you know I will." I drop my head, "Do what you want, I'm still going to be working when you get here. Mom, you know why I'm working and I won't stop until I finish." She lets out a long sigh in defeat, "Okay, but once you're done, you and your team will go on vacation for a month."

I laugh as I run my fingers through Haven's hair, "Yes ma'am." Haven looks up at me and I smile at her, "How's Haven doing?"

"She's doing fine, she got me a couple things for my birthday." I kiss her on her forehead and she laughs, "Is that Haven near you?" I start tickling her, "Yeah, it is. I'll call you guys later." I hang up after that and start tickling Haven even more. She squeals and kicks at me, "Ahh!! Ahh!!"

I stop and look down at her with a smile. "Happy Birthday."

"What are we going to cook for Niall?" Kylie shrug her shoulders and I groan, "Jay, what does Niall like?!" Jay comes in the kitchen and shrugs his shoulders, "I don't know. I haven't seen him not like something." I roll my eyes and go through the refrigerator, "It's not even the afternoon. Why are looking now?"

I look at Adam and sigh, "So we don't have to rush and find something later on tonight. Everybody is cooking and I mean everybody, Jay and Ty." I look at Jay and Ty, "Okay, we heard you. Go ask if Haven wants to help. Anything that involves Niall she will do it no matter what."

Clare stands up, "I'll go ask her, she's probably just sitting down while Niall is on the phone." Before Clare could even leave the kitchen, Haven comes running down with Niall right behind her. She grabs Jay by the arm and runs off somewhere. "Haven, what's wrong?!" They run out the door and Niall follows. "Haven!! Get back here!!"

I run behind Niall, "What the hell happened?!" He looks at me and shakes his head, "Nothing, I want to be by myself for a little bit." He walks upstairs after that and I look at Ty, "There's nothing I can do. We just have to wait and see what Jay finds out."

"I really need to get used to your surprise hugs." I am on back rubbing my head with Haven on top of me, "Surprises are fun." I move her hair out of her face and kiss her forehead, "You don't like my hugs?" I shake my head and laugh, "I love your hugs."

I wrap my arms around her and she laughs. "What do you do at the beach?" I look up and hum a little, "You wear a bikini and put your feet in the sand. You can go in the water, play volleyball and football. We can go jet skiing and surfing." She runs her fingers through my hair, "Your hair is soft."

She starts tracing my tattoos and I let out a long sigh, "I want one." I open my eyes and shake my head, "No, this is one thing you can't get." A pout crawls on her lips and I laugh, "Why? You have one." I sit up and our faces are now inches away from each other.

My eyes widen as Haven place a kiss on my lips. She pulls away and I stay frozen in my spot. I see tears fill her eyes, "Don't send me away." She runs out after that and I follow behind her.

She runs in the kitchen and grabs Jay arm. They run outside, "Haven!! Get back here!!" Rylee comes up behind me, "What the hell happened?!" I look at her and shake my head, "Nothing, I want to be by myself for a little bit."

Why was she so scared?
