"What about him? What did you talk about?" He lets out a long sigh, "He told us he will be going into hiding for a few months. We won't hear anything from him until then."

Anger rises through my body, "What do mean he's going into hiding?! You couldn't track him down! This is the man that kept Haven for all those years!" He nods his head, "I know, you need to calm down and keep quiet. I don't want the others to hear." I scoff and cross my arms, "It doesn't matter, I'm going to tell them anyway. This man knows he has the upper hand and we can't do anything until he comes back out of hiding. This is bullshit!"

I sit down on the bed, "Me and my team leave tonight. You can come back whenever, but be back in time for your sister pool party." I drop my head and groan, "I don't want to go." He walks towards the door, "You know you have to be there." I nod my head, "I know, I know. Plus I'm not going to stay here long." We walk back to the front and I walk him to the door, "I know this frustrates you, but we'll get him sooner or later."

He walks out after that, "No need to tell us. We heard you screaming about it." Jay says as he sits down on the couch. I lean against the wall and look up at the ceiling. I feel a presence near me so I look away from the ceiling and see Haven looking at me. I see worry in her eyes and I show her a small smile, "I'm okay. No need for you to worry."

"Haven, let's go!" It's been four months since we've heard from the unknown man. It has also been four months since I took Haven under my care. We are now in May and we are finally done with the freezing weather.

He says to Rylee as she whispers in his ear and his eyes widen, "What the hell are y'all whispering about?!" We all look towards a furious Brit with shock eyes. She looks at me and I show her a mischievous grin. "Someone's jealous."

"Why do I feel so much tension?" We turn to the voice and see Jada. "Brit jealous of Rylee and Dexter." Brit hits me on my arm and I step away from her, "What?! It's true!!"

"No, it's not! I came to tell you that you need to be there an hour early. I need you to help me with something." I nod my head and she hits me again, "Okay! You didn't have to hit me! I heard you!" She storms off and the sound of her heels is heard across the room. She grabs Dexter by the tie and pulls him along, "Wait, I'm trying to talk to Niall!"

"No, you're not! You're to busy flirting with someone right now! Let's go!" Dexter hand falls on her butt and she glares at him, "What? I'm walking behind you, you can't get mad when your ass is looking nice as hell in that skirt." Brit rolls her eyes and storms off while still pulling Dexter by the tie.

"You love edging Brit on, don't you?" Jay asks as he sits down, "I'm just giving her a little push." Rylee winks and we laugh. Jada walks up to me and I give her a quick kiss on the forehead, "How about I come over after you get off work?" I smirk down at her, "I would love that."

Rafiki comes out of nowhere and hits Jada on the head. "What is up with this monkey?! Every time I come around he's hitting me!" I shrug my shoulders, "I don't know, you're the only one he hits. He doesn't even hit Jay or Ty unless I say so." I look over at Haven and see that she is looking out the window.

I came up with a new saying for Haven, just in case she feels upset about something. I walk over to her and she doesn't look my way, "Don't give up, even if you want to, keep fighting and you might just win." I arch my eyebrow, "Are you okay? Is something wrong?" She shakes her head and finally looks at me, "No, I just like saying that."

I smile at her and she smiles back. "What's our other saying?" She looks back out the window, "Every life isn't worthless unless someone makes it worthless." I hold my hand up and she hits it. I go back to Jada and she looks at me with something in her eyes, "It seems like you're getting more and more distracted. We haven't had any fun in a while." I sit down and look up at her, "Don't worry, we can have our fun when you come over tonight."

She gives me a quick kiss on the lips, "I'll see you then." She walks out after that and Kylie crosses her arms, "Are y'all a thing?" I shake my head, "No, we're just friends." She gives me a lazy look, "You're just friends. You mean you're just fuck buddies." I choke on my spit and look at her, "Why did you say it like that?!" She shrugs her shoulders, "There's something off about her. How long have you two known each other?"

I clear my throat, "For a few years." Kylie looks at Rylee and laughs, "She's in love with you!" My eyes widen, "What?! No, she's not!" Rylee rolls her eyes, "Yes she is. There's no way she isn't." I look over at Jay and Ty for help. "Jay? Ty?"

Ty scratches the back of his head, "I think somebody was calling our phones. We'll be right back. Finish the conversation without us." I roll my eyes and sit back in my seat, "We've been doing this type of relationship for years. I haven't noticed anything at all. Plus I don't see her that way."

"She might just started acting differently then. Maybe because y'all haven't done it in a while. When was the last time you did it?" Jay says as he leans against the wall, I shrug my shoulders, "Three or four weeks ago."

"How often did you used to do it?" I look at Kylie, "Almost every day of the week." All their eyes widen and then they all start laughing, "You are in some deep shit."

I pick up Bean and she licks my face, "Get back to work or I'll make you all file papers." They quickly run out of my office and I laugh. "Haven, are you used to Jada?" She shrugs her shoulders and I sigh, "Jada's coming over tonight and we're going to be in one of the rooms for a while." She nods her head, "I know, keep away from the room you're in." She looks my way and smile.

Me and Jada go to the guest room, "Where's Haven?" I take my shirt off and shrug my shoulders, "Somewhere around here, she's not going to bother us." I push her on the bed and crawl on top of her.
