"Take her to work with me? That's not going to happen." Dexter shrugs his shoulders, "Then leave her here then." I quickly shake my head, "No! Nope! Hell no! She can't do anything for herself. I don't want to come back from work and see the house on fire or see her on the floor half dead from hunger." He falls back on the sofa and laughs, "This is funny to me."

I throw another pillow at him and he catches it this time. I drop my head and sigh, "She really is going to have to come to work with me."

"Ah!!! Stay away!!" All of a sudden we hear a scream from the tv. I look at Haven and see that she tried to turn the tv, "Jesus Christ! That scared the shit out of me!" I take the remote out of her hand and turn back to the game, "What were you doing?" She brings her knees to her chest and I sigh.

I turn to Scooby-Doo and she looks at the tv, "Is this what you wanted?" She nods her head and I sigh, "You could have just asked me." I look back at Dex and see him looking at the tv, "I haven't seen Scooby-Doo in a while." I look back at Haven and see that she is still hugging her knees while looking at the tv.

"What you doing tomorrow?" He shrugs his shoulders, "Probably try to win your sister's heart." I cross my arms, "You know she's not going to give you a chance. She's not dating you unless you're a model or a fashion designer." He rolls his eyes and laughs, "I'll get her one way or another."

Me and Dexter are still talking and Haven is asleep with her head on the arm of the sofa. "I have work in the morning, I have to finish up on this case." We stand up and walk to the front door, "What's the case this time?"

Dexter owns his own law firm and he deals with the very big cases for celebrities. "I don't even remember. I'll see you later, make sure you keep miss lady over there entertained tomorrow." I push him out and he laughs, "Whatever, Goodnight." I close and lock the door, I go back to the living room and pick Haven up. I carry her up to her room and put her in the bed.

She sits up with her eyes clothes and starts taking her shirt off. I quickly turn around and exit the room. I go to my room and strip to nothing but my boxers. Minutes later darkness takes over me.

I wake up and do my morning routine. After getting dress I go to Haven room and go through her closet. I pick out a nice black and white suit for her along with some black heels. "Haven, wake up. You have to come to work with me." I come out of the closet and put her outfit on the bed. She sits up and the blanket falls off her body. I turn around and sigh, "I really need you to cover up when I'm around. Go brush your teeth and take a shower."

She slowly stands up and walks to the bathroom. I sit down on her bed and wait for her. Five minutes later she comes out with nothing on. I look at her with wide eyes, "What happened to your hair?! It was just straight!" Her hair is now dripping wet with curls everywhere. "Ugh! Come here and bring me your towel." I'm not even shocked that she's naked. I take the towel out of her hand and dry her hair off. "You just got your hair done yesterday. You're so lucky it was free to get it done."

I pull her to the bed and help her put her clothes on. "Put the heels on, you already know how to walk in them." I go to the bathroom and grab a brush, "Sit down in front of me. I'm going to put your hair in a ponytail." She crawls over to me and turns around. I brush her hair back and put it in a high ponytail.

"Ponytail?" She looks up at me with her big eyes, "Yes, ponytail. Do you like it?" She touches her head and nod. I throw the brush on the bed and stand up, "Alright, lets go." She stands up and then sits back down, "What's wrong?" She holds up her feet, "I thought you could walk in them." She shakes her head, "What's wrong? You don't like them?" She nods her head and I put my face in my hands.

I help her back up, "As soon as we get to my office you can take them off. You can't walk around barefooted." She keeps her head down and follows me to the car. We make it to my building thirty minutes later. We walk in and everybody eyes fall on Haven. I grab her by the wrist and speed walk to the elevator. "Ugh! The day I really want to get to my office the elevator doesn't want to come fast enough." The elevator doors finally open and I rush in.

"Thank god, all those stares were suffocating." All of a sudden Haven takes her shoes off. I look down at her, "I said wait until we get to my office. Ugh! You're not making this any better for me!" I pick up her shoes up and grab her by the wrist. I drag her to my office and close the door behind us. "Sit down on the couch while I get my mind together." I pull out my phone and dial my so call father number.

"Next time I see you, I get the right to kill you and get away with it." He laughs into the phone, "Well, hello to you too. How's everything going?" I run my fingers through my hair, "I'll tell you how's it going. It's frustrating, very frustrating! Every time I turn around she's naked! She literally had a panic attack when I took her to get her hair done! I can't do this, dad you really need to come and get her. Can't I send her som-."

My sentence is cut off by the sudden arms that are wrapped around my waist, "P-please don't send m-me a-away." I look down at Haven and see that she has her face in my chest, well below my chest. "Those words just slipped out of my mouth. I'm not going to send you anywhere, I'm sorry." She looks up at me and hugs me tighter. I put my hand on top of her head, "Forget everything I said except for the killing you part." He clears his throat and laughs, "It seems like she's gotten used to you."

I groan in response, "Just be prepared for me to give you hell." I hang up after that and pull Haven off of me. She looks up at me and all of a sudden her stomach growls real loudly. She doesn't even flinch from the complaint that her stomach gave her, "I forgot to get you some breakfast." I fall to the floor on all fours, "I'm going to be bald by the end of this year." She sits down beside me and looks at me, "Bald?"

"Don't worry about breakfast, I brought some for you." I quickly look up and see my older brother Glenn walk in. I show him a big smile and run to him, "I love you so much!! Thank you!" I try to hug him, but he puts his hand on my face and shoves the food in my stomach, "Just take the food." I rub my face and groan, "You can at least say you love me back." He crosses his arms, "I just came to meet the woman. Where she at?" I point behind me, "She's rig- not there."

I let out a long sigh and walk behind my desk, "Come out, it's my big brother. You met my sister yesterday." She shakes her head and I pat my desk chair, "Okay, since you don't want to get anywhere near him, sit in my chair and eat. Your stomach growled really loudly just a second ago." She slowly stands up and sits in my chair. I hand her a sausage and egg biscuit, "Eat it just like the chicken sandwich we had."

I lean against my desk, "Have you had any problems?" I look at him as if he just asked the dumbest question, "Problems? I'm beyond that." He sits down and laughs, "It couldn't have been that bad." I hold my finger up, "Hold on one second." I pull my phone out and go to a Scooby-Doo movie, I pull out my headphones and go over to Haven. She flinches away from me, "This is a phone, you can watch Scooby-Doo up here." I set my phone up against my printer and put the headphones in.

I put the earbuds in her ear and play the movie. "The volume is all the way up so she can't hear us." Glenn looks at me with an arch eyebrow, "Your point was?" I lean back against my desk, "She always gets scared that I might send her off somewhere every time I talk about her. Anyway, she walks around the entire house naked and she can't do anything for herself and I mean anything. I went to Brit to get her hair done yesterday and she ruined it when she got in the shower this morning. My tv is going to be filled with cartoons recorded because that's all she understands. Some stupid cartoons!!"

I drop my head and quickly look behind me to make sure Haven didn't hear anything. "Is it really that bad?" I look at him with a glare, "How about you keep her for a night?" He shakes his head, "How can I do that if she doesn't trust anybody but you?" I fall to the floor and he laughs at me, "It's not funny, I feel like I'm taking care of a kid instead of a grown woman." I stand back up, "How am I going to see Jada?!" I fall back down and groan, "There's no way, I need someone to keep watch of her for a couple of hours. I like what me and Jada have going on, I don't want to end it."

"Would you get up and stop acting like a kid." I shake my head and leave my head on the floor, "Remind me to kill our dad." He stands up and walks over towards me, he kicks me in the butt. "Ah!! Asshole!! Why the hell did you kick me?!" I stand up and rub my butt with a pout on my lips, "Because you need to stop acting like a baby and get to work." I walk around my desk and look at my computer, "I forgot to ask, but what are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be building something right now?"

He lets out a long sigh, "Nope, the wife wants me to rest for a day. She wants me to go pick up Sidney today." Before I could say anything, Haven takes her earbuds out, "Bathroom." I look at her and point at my bathroom, "Since my bathroom is getting cleaned, go to the one down the hall." She shakes her head, "I-I'll wait." I let out a long sigh and look at the person who's cleaning my bathroom.

"How much longer until you're done?" The old man looks at me and smiles, "Five more minutes." I put my hands in my pocket and sigh, "Old man, didn't I tell you not to come in today. After this go home, you're supposed to be taking it easy. Next time I see you here I'm going to hire someone to keep watch of you." He holds his hands up and laughs, "I must have forgotten."

I roll my eyes and look back at Haven, "Wait a few more minutes and then you can go to the bathroom." She nods her head and put the earbuds back in her ear, "From what I see, she's not that bad." I give Glenn the finger, "Please leave, so I can get to work." He walks to the door and laughs, "Yes sir."

Minutes later Haven gets up and go to the bathroom. I look at my phone and sigh, "She ran my phone battery down."
