《Possessive Vampire (boyxboy) [Completed]》Chapter Thirty-Three

Jamie and I had made plans for ourselves for the whole day. It has been a while since we had hung out since we've been to focused on our own lives with our mates. Jamie and his mate had been very good together. They are constantly together so Jamie had to convince him to let him and me do something since we are long term best friends.
Since Roy just loves Jamie so much, he complied.
Right now I was trying to convince Luca since I decided to tell him last minute since he won't have time to change his mind.
"Please Luca." I tried reasoning out. "Come on. Jamie found his mate. Nothing will happen, he won't try anything." I assured him.
"I still don't like him." Luca said while looking at me, trying to convince me to stay with him again.
"I'm right here!" Jamie complained while holding Roy's hand. "Stop insulting me. I have my own mate." Luca glared over at Jamie until Roy stepped in front of him. Taking a defensive stand.
"Look it's just for today. Go hunt, kill, whatever you want. It's not like I'm leaving forever." Luca smiled down at me before finally giving in.
"Just today." I agreed with him, maybe a few days after that but Luca didn't have to know that. All he had to know was that just for today we were going to hang out.
"Movies, dinner, the cliff and sleep over! Exciting." Jamie drove us to the movie theater. We bought tickets to see the Revenant and some snacks, along with drinks. We sat in the middle, since we came early it was empty. Now it was getting crowded.
After two hours of emotional twist and anger it was finally over. We enjoyed out time though, even if it was sad. "Off to the Cliff." we grinned at each other. This was going to be exciting. Usually everyone is too scared to jump off, considering it's twenty feet to drop into the water.

We changed into shorts and left our shirts off. We parked downhill, it was going to be quite the hike to get up there but it was worth it. Once up there, it was just us and a few other teenagers. They were trying to bet each other to jump off but everyone was too chicken.
"These people are going to jump off." The guys start laughing, they just came here to impress some girls. We came here to have fun.
"HA." Jamie laughed along with them. "We are not chicken, I've been doing backflips into the water ever since I could walk."
"Prove it." Jamie shrugged and ran backwards, doing a backflip and splashing down into the water. I shrugged to and just ran, jumping off normal style.
They shouted and cheered. Jamie and I swam around laughing at the scared humans who were looking down and trying to gather enough guts to jump.
"Who's the chicken now!" Jamie yelled out. They all looked at each other. Then Jamie started making chicken noises, making them turn red most likely. After twenty minutes they jumped. One by one.
"That was so cool. I so want to do that again!" everyone agreed. We did it for a few more times until we finally just stayed up there without jumping back down. It was getting late so Jamie and I decided to say goodbye to our new found friends.
"Stay and have some drinks." Jamie and I looked at each other and shrugged. A few drinks wouldn't hurt.
We drank and laughed, just overall having a good time. Jamie and I worried that our mates would be upset if we stayed out too long. So we called them to tell them we went our for dinner and we will be back soon. They were angry about it but we just hung up on them. Maybe it wasn't the best idea but it already happened. We can deal with them later.
But as we drank without realizing how much, I began getting dizzier by second. Maybe it wasn't such a good idea.

Displacement
or, Deux Navires Passant dans la Nuit If you wake up in a new world, with only your memories of home to guide you, you have to trust the first people you meet. The first people Leah meets seem to know her - but not her. Leah is thrust into a fighter's role that does not quite suit her, and those who 'rescued' her do their best to help her fit in. They hint at a world that Leah can only vaguely understand without serious research and exploration, but how to do that research, when everyone believes her to be a local of this place, and too many questions might draw unwanted attention? And what about home? The more Leah learns about this world, the less she believes that she woke up on the right side of the bed - or more accurately, on the right side of the conflict. With magic being strictly regulated in her current "home," maybe it's time to uproot and look for a new set of allies... -- Displacement is a queer / lgbt bodyswap isekai: Leah Armande falls out of a Quebecois city into an unfamiliar fantasy world, and Leah Talesh falls out of her adventuring party's homeland and into an unfamiliar industrial world. The story follows both women as they navigate their new surroundings, trying at times to find a way home, at times just to pass for a local, and at times to actually make a life for themselves in their new world. Expect in-depth politics and worldbuilding, sapphic moments, foibles, and far too much time spent either in libraries or convalescing (or sometimes both).
