• It is inspired from Ishqbaaz serial. From the storyline when Shivaay's ex-girlfriend Malika ran away from her wedding and came to him for help. I just loved Malika's character.
• Earlier it was a casual story with no strong message. But a few weeks ago I realised that Aarini's parents are actually toxic. So I read a little about toxic parents on Google and added it to the story.
• The name Ameer Akram Chaudhary is actually inspired from the name of Suno Chanda's writer - Saima Akram Chaudhary.
• Anika's character is dedicated to everyone's favourite Anika from Ishqbaaz.
So yeah, that's it.
