《Harfan Maula》1.3 • Five hundred and sixty-five Kisses

The car was speeding away on the road. Aadi had ordered the security to not follow them. He was clutching the steering wheel so tight that veins of his hands were visible to her eyes. He was seething with anger. One wrong move and his anger will burst on her. And she rightfully deserved his anger, she was the reason of it.
"I- I don't want to go back." She voiced out, scared yet determined to face him.
Aadi glared her way, making her downcast her gaze. He stopped the car at a side and looked at her, all set to burst out.
"You chose that middle-class guy over your family and fiance?" His tone held disgust.
"Look it's not what you are thinking or what it appears to be. I and Ameer are good friends-" But he cut her off in his furious tone.
"He is your ex-boyfriend! Do you really think I won't find it out?"
His tone startled her. She flinched back on her seat and didn't dare to look up at him. But she dared to explain.
"I admit, he is my ex. But it's over. Now we are good friends, that's all."
"Seriously? We are engaged for last two years yet I could never enter your friend zone. But he did. And right now you are wearing his clothes. Just tell me, are you still a virgin?"
He just hated seeing her in another man's clothes. Yeah, she looked cute in those oversized t-shirt and sweatpants. However, she will look cuter in his shirts.
His doubtful gaze and question made her question herself that why she was explaining her actions to him. He was cheating on her. He should be giving an explanation.
"Are you?" She questioned back. Asking him if he is innocent enough or I say virgin enough to question her virginity.

He had no reply.
His silence did wonders to her confidence.
"I am a virgin, Mr Aadijay Chauhan. What about you though? I even doubt you must have an illegitimate child from one of those many girls you slept with before me and even after me." She taunted him.
"Rini, what do you mean? Say it clear."
"I saw you kissing your ex-girlfriend few hours prior wedding. And it was your disloyalty that forced me to run away."
"My disloyalty? Or your distrust? You could have asked me for an explanation."
"Aadijay Chauhan doesn't give explanations for his actions." She gave a shrug and crossed her arms over her chest.
"How many times we have kissed?" His question was... unanswerable?
Like which person counts the number of kisses he or she shared with his or her partner? At least not Aarini Mathur.
"Umm... plenty of times."
"525 times."
She was dumbstruck. This bloody businessman even counts the number of kisses he shared with her.
"Alright. What exactly it has to do in this matter?" She asked.
"Have you ever noticed how I kiss you?"
With agression and dominance and desire and lust and... the list goes on. He will always take over the control. And will always leave her breathless and won't stop at just that. Only she knew how she stops the make out without losing her poor virginity.
He smirked seeing the way she just re-lived their hundreds of kisses. And he wanted to kiss her at that moment. But he controlled himself.
"With dominance, right? Touching you here and there, and especially there." And he saw her tightly pressing her thighs.
"Do you really need to mention this?" She snapped. It began feeling hot as he described their make out sessions verbally.

"Alright, then tell me. Did you notice any trace of dominance when you saw me and Svetlana kissing?"
"How would I remember? And indirectly you are admitting that you kissed her."
"No, she kissed me. A stupid farewell kiss she wanted before I marry you." He huffed annoyedly.
"Aadi, I am not as dumb as you suppose." She wasn't going to believe in his stupid story.
"I am serious, Rini." Because he was serious.
"And I am also serious while saying that it's all over between us." But she wasn't.
"Then return me my 625 kisses." And he knew how to handle the situation... in a funny way. To distract the topic from their engagement to anything else that doesn't matter.
"Excuse me, it was 525 earlier." And it worked. She got tricked into a very silly argument.
"With interest added it is 625 kisses."
Interest? He is asking for interest from his love interest.
"Excuse me?" Why all of a sudden he began behaving even dumber than her?
"No, I won't excuse you unless you kiss me, that too 625 times."
She huffed in annoyance and tried to opened the door to get out of the car. However, it was locked.
"Are you serious?" She glared at him.
"Yes, I am. Kiss me and I'll leave you." He folded his arms on his chest and leaned against the driver's seat.
"Aadi, you are frustrating me." Her tone very well justified her words.
But he kept quiet.
"Diverting the topic won't change the truth that you cheated on me."
"I didn't, Rini." She noticed a trace of fear in his eyes. Fear of losing someone.
"I want to go back. To Ameer's place." She looked outside the car, not able to bear this side of him. She was used to that rude, dominant and possesive Aadi.
"Rini, I am very serious for you. It's either you or no one."
"I wish I could fall in love with Ameer again. But now it's impossible."
They had their ways to say that they love each other. That they don't want anyone else but each other only.
And she broke into tears.
And he pulled her close to his heart.
"What do you want, Rini?"
What exactly she wants? She herself didn't know the answer. But she knew that she didn't want what her family or even Aadi wants. She don't want to be a homemaker. She don't want to please her parents anymore. She don't want Aadi to have control over her. She don't want to live according to them. She wants to fall in love with herself, as much as she fell for Aadi. She wants to taste the flavour of freedom. Freedom to live as she desires to.
And she found the answer.
"I hate your mother ..." And the list goes on.
