Inaya's POV
"I heard Dom took you out." Nicholas says as he bites into an apple.
"He did." I nod.
I totally forgot to tell him about it. But, then again, is it something that I would want to tell him?
"And you went? Voluntarily?" He raises a brow.
I go silent for a bit.
"Yep, I needed to make sure the world was still spinning." I try to joke but he didn't laugh.
"Where did he take you?" He pushes the topic.
I tell him where Dominic took me but Nick doesn't look impressed.
"You really trusted him? He could've hurt you." He frowns.
I furrow my brows. "But he didn't."
He sighs. "I'm just... I was just worried."
"Don't be. If he did something, the worst that could happen is that I'd die. Not a bad option." I answer truthfully.
"Don't say things like that..." he sighs. "Just be careful around Dom. He can be... unpredictable."
"I figured that by now." I laugh.
"Do you want to go out somewhere today?" His mood switches to something more cheerful.
"I was thinking of staying in today. Not that I had plans on going out anyways. Do you want to watch a movie or something?" I recommend.
"Anything in mind?" He asks, excited.
"John Wick?" I suggest with a smile.
"No way!" He looks shocked.
"Not your type of movie?"
"That's perfect! I didn't know you'd watch movies like that!" He's genuinely taken-back.
"There's a lot you don't know about me, Nicholas Belcastro." I grin.
• • •
"Come this way!" Nicholas gestures for me to follow him.
After a few turns, we reach a double door.
"What's this?" I ask.
Nicholas only grins and once he opens the door, my jaw drops.
It's a theatre room.
Not just a small, home-theatre type one. It looks a mini auditorium.
There's more than 10 reclining seats that are equally placed on each side of the room with a staircase path leading down to the giant projector screen.

"This is insane." I blurt out.
"Dominic doesn't watch movies but he knows I do, a lot, so he had it built for when I come over."
"I'm impressed. Very impressed. I would never leave this room." I laugh.
"Pick a seat, any seat." He says.
I pick one that gives the perfect view of the screen. I look around the room and my eyes land on a machine in the corner.
"Is that a popcorn and soda machine?" I gasp.
Nick chuckles. "Dominic leaves no expense. He'll either go big or go home. I'll turn on both the machines."
"Nick?" Dominic's voice comes from the entrance.
"What's up, Dom?" Nicholas grins happily when he sees his brother.
Our eyes meet and I felt that little flutter again. However, he's eyes are back to the usual dark, hollows of nothing.
"What are you two doing here?" Dominic asks.
"About to watch John Wick. Do you want to join us?" Nicholas asks.
Dominic ignores the question. "Didn't you have a meeting with our father today? As in, in 10 minutes?"
Nick's eyes widen as he looks at his wrist watch. "Oh, shit! Why didn't you tell me sooner?"
"Because I thought you were already there." Dominic sighs. "You can be such an idiot sometimes."
"Rain check, Princess?" Nick winks.
I nod. "Of course."
Nicholas runs out in a rush. I sit there silently for a few seconds.
"Are you busy?" I ask Dominic.
"I am." He states.
"Oh."
"But not right now." He adds on.
"Do you want to watch John Wick with me?" I ask with some hope that he does normal things.
"I don't want watch movies. They're a waste of time." And he blows it.
I wanted to ask him: then, can you turn the movie on for me before you leave?
But thought against it.
I sigh as I begin to leave but Dominic grabs my wrist. "Sit down. I'll get the remote."
My eyes widen and I unintentionally break into a grin. "Really?!"
He nods. And I happily go sit back down.

If he keeps this up, he might actually end up stealing my heart.
Or did he already? A voice in my head asks.
• • •
"What did you think?" I beam.
"That was such a waste. All for a dog?" He raises a brow.
"A dog that his beloved dead wife gave him!" I argue.
"So, all for a dog." He states again.
I frown. "Yes, all for a dog."
"He wasn't all that great." He shrugs his shoulders.
John Wick wasn't that great? What? Is he serious?
I stand up to throw away my empty drink and popcorn bag. I reach the garbage bin and toss them in there.
"I'd marry John in a heart beat." I say.
"You'd fuck him too?" Dominic whispers in a low tone right behind me.
I used to say things like that with Caterina or Mehar. It'd be a character from a movie or TV show or a book and I'd say things along the line of: I'd marry this man or I'd have his kids.
So a jokingly comment like this about John Wick just slipped out. But I probably should've kept my mouth shut.
I turn around only to have Dominic push me against the wall.
He leans down to my ear, "How about you let me show you something better than John Wick?"
His words send shivers down my spine.
"Dominic, it was just..." I'm almost breathless.
"It was just what?" His hands are on my waist as he forcefully pulls me closer to his chest.
Was he angry at my comment? For what reason?
"It was just a joke." I try to explain.
"Don't fucking make vulgar jokes about other men like that in front of me. Next time, I won't be this fucking calm about it." He grits his teeth.
"Why?" I dare to ask. My heart is beating so hard that my rib cages hurt.
"You won't like the answer."
"Tell me." I say quietly.
He grazes his thumb across my lip slowly. His lips so close to mine that I'm sure he could feel my trembling bottom lip.
"I won't let any man have you, not until I fuck you first. Not until I get to fuck you on my bed, on the kitchen counter, in the shower, every inch of this house. Not until I've been satisfied of my needs." He licks his lips in anticipation.
He was right. I did not like his answer.
"Dominic... this is—"
"And if you keep calling out my name with such seduction, I'll take you right here, right now." His hands slowly slide down my stomach, to in between my legs.
I gasp.
I grab his hand, trying to pull it away. This only makes it worst because he lightly begins brushing his hand up and down, sending my whole body into some kind of ecstasy.
"Your body wants me, amore mìo. I can feel it in between your legs. I can feel it on my fingers." His voice is a low, laced with lust.
I should feel disgusted, his words are vile and dirty; his actions are inappropriate beyond words, yet my body is electrified. I hate it. I hate that he can make me feel like this.
A loud yelling coming from the hallway disrupts us.
"Dominic Belcastro!" The voice is angry, and extremely loud.
"What the fuck was that?" Dominic says in annoyance more to himself than me.
Thank God! Thank God! Thank God! I was about to lose it.
"Belcastro! Get your fucking ass out here!"
The voice... it sounds so familiar... I'd recognize it anywhere but is it possible?
I'm sure my face went paper-white as it dawns on me who's voice it is.
"Caterina...?"
