Inaya's POV
Dominic pulls out his phone and starts yelling and immensely cursing at the person on the other end.
"Consider yourself fucking dead, you piece of shit!" He turns off the phone and smashes it onto the dashboard.
I technically jump off my seat for a second.
"Get out." He says.
I stare at him, blinking.
"Are you fucking deaf? Get out of the car." He's gritting his teeth.
I did what he said. He was already in a bad mood from the phone call, I didn't think asking him would do any good right now.
He rolls down the window. "Open the gate."
I stare at the ginormous black gates leading to his property. "H-how?"
He rolls his eyes and massages his temples as if to stop himself from exploding in anger. "Pull on it."
I nod and try to open it but it doesn't budge.
"Are you fucking kidding me?" He's clenching his jaw.
I tried pulling harder at the metal bars but the door doesn't even squeak at my advances.
"I-I think it's locked." I manage to say.
"No fucking kidding. This is wasting my time." He gets out of the car and slams the door. "First, these two bastards can't do their jobs right, now I have to deal with this." He mumbles angrily to himself.
I stare at the gun in his hand, Ya Allah, he doesn't ever part from that thing!
Within seconds, he aims and shoots at the lock. A small squeal escapes from my mouth from the loud gunshot echoing throughout.
"Get back in the car." He says and I sit back down.
We drive into the large property, it takes us a whole minute to reach the actual house.
My eyes widen and my mouth agape from shock. I don't know what I was expecting but this isn't it. This is out of my imagination. I couldn't have possibly imagined such a beautiful home because it's literally out of a fairytale!
It's a French chateau-styled mansion, with a large luxurious fountain placed right in the middle of the driveway. The driveway has several paths that lead to the front door of the house.
Dominic parks right in front of the entrance and shuts the car door, a little too hard for my liking. He swings open the french doors of his house and it hits the walls so loud that I thought the doors or the wall must be broken from the force.

I awkwardly sit in the car, waiting for someone to tell me what to do. I wouldn't mind spending the night in the car, it's roomy enough but there's literally two severely injured men in the back.
"He'll probably send someone for you." I hear Lenny's strained voice from the back seat.
"Oh my God, sir! Will he send someone for you two? Should I go in and ask?" I'm frantic.
"You sure are annoyingly helpful to the people who took you away from your home." Benny's chuckles.
"I'm sure you wouldn't have did that if it weren't orders given to you by the man you work for." I give them a weak smile. "Besides, I'm not letting anyone die on my watch."
"Do you hear that, Lenny? The little princess is acting like a humanitarian." Benny throws his usual snarky comments, which makes me smile slightly to know he's doing okay.
"Shut up, Benny. She could've shot me point-blank, if she wanted to. I would've, if I were her." Then, Lenny turns to look at me. "Don't mind him. We don't come across many people like you in our field of work. He doesn't know how to react to humane gestures."
Before I could say anything, my door swings open.
"So, you're the fresh meat my brother's been edgy about. You're a bit more clothed than most of the women he brings in." The man says right off the bat.
"Fresh meat?" I accidentally question out loud.
The man chuckles and shakes his head, as a way to say forget it.
He places his hand in front of me to shake it, "Nicholas Belcastro. Most people call me either Nick or Nicky."
"Inaya." I say simply and get out of the car without shaking his hand, more for spiritual reasons than to be rude.
"Ah, she's a tough cookie, rejecting a handshake of the Don's brother." He teases.
He's the complete opposite of his brother at first interaction.
Once I finally glance at him under the light, I was just as awestruck as I was when I saw his brother. He's definitely handsome and being physically attractive must definitely run in the family.
He has the same chiseled face structure, along with the muscular body frame. He has a softer look to his eyes, compared to his brother. It's almost as if the world hasn't spoiled him yet.

And... he looks about my age.
"The two gentlemen in the back need immediate medical attention. Your... brother shot them." I try not to sound impolite but how else should I phrase the sentence.
"Oh, cool." Nick says as if this is a normal thing.
"Actually, I was shot by Boss while Lenny over here was shot by the Princess." Benny's voice still weak from the blood loss and pain, still manages to make his snarky comments.
"You shot Lenny?" Nick's eyes widen.
"I'm truly sorry! I really didn't have a choice!" I say, horrified at my actions.
"I'm not shocked that you shot him. I'm shocked you didn't kill both of them for what they did." Nick says.
"What did I tell ya? We don't often come across people like you in this field." Lenny chuckles as he slowly coughs from his injuries.
"Could you please help them out?" I plead.
"I don't think I've ever seen anyone ask for help for their kidnappers. I'm gonna ask Dom if we can keep her." Nick laughs.
The amount of people who said the same thing is actually making me wonder if being a decent human being is not a norm around here.
"I doubt he'll keep her. She's seen too much." Benny rolls his eyes.
"I mean, if he wasn't gonna use her, he would've killed her the second they met." Nick shrugs his shoulders.
Both Benny and Lenny stare at each other as if something suddenly clicked from that comment.
"Hm..." is all Benny says.
They are having this conversation as if I'm not standing right in front of them.
"Ahem." I clear my throat to bring their attention back to the situation.
"Oh, right." Nick makes a phone call and within a minute, two other men come by to carry Benny and Lenny away, for what I assume, is the medical attention I've been asking for them.
While they were being assisted away, I swear I heard Benny mumble in a very low tone, "Thanks..."
"Now that that's done." Nick grabs my hand and pulls me along behind him. "I'll show you your temporary living arrangements."
Temporary?
"Yes, temporary. Until Dom figures out what we're going to do with you." He answers my thoughts.
I look at him, shocked. Did I say it out loud?
"Don't worry. I can't read minds but I'm very good at reading facial expressions." He winks.
"Uh... could you please let go of my hand?" I ask nervously.
"Yeah, for sure." He lets go.
Definitely not like his stubborn brother.
Once I enter the house, I almost couldn't take any further steps inside. I thought the the exterior was beautiful? The interior is even more magical.
The entrance itself starts with the most luxurious pair of double staircase that spirals from both sides of the house to lead upstairs. The theme is kept to a nice black and white aesthetic, making everything look classy and expensive.
After walking through a few different hallways, of which I won't remember but it doesn't matter because I don't plan on the leaving the room.
We finally stop in front of a large, dark door.
"This is where I drop you off. I have something to do but I'll come back to check up on you." Nick smiles.
In other words, he'll make sure to come back to check if whether I'd run away or taken my own life.
I nod and thank him as he leaves.
Just as I place my hand on the door knob, a chill runs up my spine.
I've been so calm about this, it's almost as if I'm in self-destruct mode where I don't care where I end up during all of this but a part of me does care.
I twist the knob and enter to be welcomed by another luxurious room, which matches the monotone aesthetic of the house.
"This isn't bad for a prisoner's room", l sadly laugh to myself.
"Enjoy it while you can, amore mìo." I hear a male voice from behind me.

8 126LADY CHATTERLEY'S LOVER (Completed)
Lady Chatterley's Lover is a novel by D. H. Lawrence, first published privately in 1928 in Italy, and in 1929 in France and Australia. An unexpurgated edition was not published openly in the United Kingdom until 1960, when it was the subject of a watershed obscenity trial against the publisher Penguin Books. Penguin won the case, and quickly sold 3 million copies. The book was also banned for obscenity in the United States, Canada, Australia, India and Japan. The book soon became notorious for its story of the physical (and emotional) relationship between a working class man and an upper class woman, its explicit descriptions of sex, and its use of then-unprintable words.
