《Sally (Book 1)》Chapter 24: Art Class
Advertisement
It was just another day at school when the bell rang signaling 7th period. Angela rushed and grabbed her books rushing to get to art class. It was her favorite class.
When she walked out the door, Javier was standing there. He grabbed her hand and they walked to art class together.
As they entered the classroom, they sat down next to each other and started talking. Suddenly the bell rang, signaling for class to start.
Mrs Goff, the art teacher clapped her hands together and said "Okay class, today we will be painting. You can paint anything you want and during the last 10 minutes, we will prop them up and walk around and see everyone's work."
Everyone got up to go to the big table with the paints and brushes for them to use. Angela decided to paint a flower and she got all the colors she needed and sat back down.
Javier sat beside her and asked "What are you painting?"
"A flower." Angela replied. "What are you painting?"
He shrugged. "I don't know, I'll just think of something."
They turned and started working on their paintings. 30 minutes later, Mrs Goff said "Alright class, get ready to display your pieces."
Everyone stopped what they were doing and picked up their paintings and propped them up on the stands.
Mrs Goff said "Okay now you can walk around and look at everyone's paintings. But rememeber dont ruin or touch another persons work or you will be sent to the office."
Angela got up and walked around and saw paintings of birds, flowers, waterfalls and other basic stuff. She stopped when she saw something weird. She walked towards a painting and gasped.
There was a painting of Sally. How is that even possible? In the painting, Sally had a knife and her eyes were blood red.

Angela quickly scanned the bottom corner of it and the name said "Amy Lynch."
She walked up to the girl Amy and poked her shoulder. Amy tunred around. "Yes?"
Angela said "Um yeah hi Amy, I just saw your painting and I was wondering, um,... What inspired you to paint your picture?"
Amy's face turned white and she said "Oh. Um well it was yesterday night and I actually seen it in a dream.. Well more of a nightmare."
********
Back at home, Angela was watching the news when all of a sudden the reporter guy was on and yelling something frantically. Angela turned up the volume so she could hear.
"There has been another murder! Amy Lynch, a girl who goes to the Willis Jr High has been brutally murdered! Investigaters say that she had been hit in the head with a blunt object, and she had been cut open WHILE still conscious. What kind of MONSTER would do something like that?! Now back to you Judy."
Angela was shocked. She didn't know what to say. Suddenly Sally came by.
Angela turned to her and said "Heyy Sally."
Sally looked at her and didn't say a word.
Angela coughed. "Have you seen the news? A girl named Amy Lynch got murdered."
Sally shrugged and changed the subject. "I have to tell you something."
Angela frowned. "Um yeah okay what is it."
Sally was silent for a few second before she said "I killed Alyssa and Marrisa."
Angela sat up quickly. "What? Please tell me you are joking! I can't believe you-"
"Well they deserved it!" Sally shrieked, cutting her off. "You should have heard the horrible things they said about you!"
Angela shook her head. "No Sally.. That isn't right. No one deserves to die like that... Wait how exactly did you even do it?"

Sally sighed then smiled. "Well I stabbed Alyssa in the neck. I hated to see her die because she was my favorite but anyways, I killed Marrisa by stabbing her in the eye and then her brain so she wouldnt have to suffer that much."
Angela stood there gape mouthed at Sally. She had JUST seen them the same day.
Angela shook her head again. "That isn't right. I'm sorry Sally but that was the wrong way to fix anything. They were rude to me but they didn't deserve it."
Sally rolled her eyes and said "Angela! I did this for you! You won't tell anyone will you?"
Angela hesitated. She knew that this was huge and the police were going to be suspicious of someone when they see them later on. But she also knew that Sally was her only friend now.
"I won't tell anyone but you better promise you won't do it again." Sally sighed and said "Thank you. I won't. Oh but anyways I also killed Amy because I heard her talking about you."
Sally ran out before Angela could say anything. Angela just stared at the spot where Sally was and suddenly started crying. Tears came down her face. She wished she had never wanted a doll.

Disclaimers: Chapter Frequency: I aim for one chapter a week. Chapter Length: I try to keep chapters between 3000 and 6000 words. Binge Preference: I plan for 30 chapters per arc. If you want to binge a complete arc, then that is the number to wait for. I will also add a line to chapters indicating the beginning and end of an arc. Advanced Access: I have created a patreon page with early access to four chapters for patrons. What to Expect: Progression fantasy with a western fantasy setting and with eastern fantasy elements. A main character that is forced to explore a very narrow path of magic due to a permanent condition. A main character that is a part of a larger cast. A main character that is growing but won't become the strongest around anytime soon. A story following a single main character but with introduction or theme setting scenes without the main character. What Not to Expect: Edgy grimdark characters – I will never write a sexual violence scene or gory descriptions of torture. I hate reading it and I would hate writing it even more. Romance – romantic relationships will never be the focus of the story and only appear in the background. The main character is preoccupied with other stuff. Other forms of relationships (family, friends, companions) play a bigger role. Cover: The cover art was commisioned from redditor Linh-Nguyen87. The font is alita brush by Inovatype Typefoundry. Overview: 001–030 Arc 1, Cultivating Perseverance: complete. 031–060 Arc 2, Undying Defiance: complete. 061–090 Arc 3, Unyielding Fury: scheduled for publishing. 091–120 Arc 4, Savage Hope: scheduled for publishing. 121–150 Arc 5, Self-Made Fate: first draft in progress. 151–180 Arc 6, Heretic Style: sketching in progress. Further Arcs are still in the sketching and idea collection phase.

Recently, they have been in a conflict for [Kokaine], a resource that can only be found between the borders of the two countries. Or will he forge his own path of solitary conquest and get high by sniffing [Kokaine]? NOTE: This story takes place in a medieval fantasy setting with swords and magic. There are Elves, Beastkin, Orcs, and monsters as well. There will be a lot of lame jokes and names, please don't be offended. And remember to leave a review! This is just a joke novel, although it gets a bit more serious after the first few chapters. Credits to user Tanaka Tomoyuki for suggesting me the synopsis.
