Huhuhu what a lovely day to spend with a sexy nerd.

Enjoy~!

~

After the good night text you felt like a little girl again frankly, giggling a bit to yourself before sliding into bed. You wouldn't be blinded by the fact that they were heroes- it wasn't really something you could get into, it was about as interesting as loving a fire fighter in many ways, a noble profession but you couldn't force yourself to be a fan... you just weren't, and finding out about the evil in the world touched you deeply and you felt either upset or angry. You felt it better to simply live in peace and try to do good in your own small ways whilst not focusing on the news always blaring the next biggest villain attack, unless it was nearby.

You still had to decide your outfit, but luckily decided on a comfortable dress with pockets with cotton shorts hidden underneath, hoping to leave a better impression than last time before you finished putting away your clothes earlier.

Heroes and dating... there was a lot to get starry eyed about, but a lot to not like as well. It meant they were always bound to be in imminent danger at some point- you found the idea of losing a friend to evil or even someone dear to you getting injured because of an accident from hero work and it made you sigh in worry. That didn't even scratch the surface, if you had a child it meant many nights without a father around, as he would most likely be bound to his work... you felt a shiver of loneliness run through you and turned on your side. You were still too young to think about kids but that was a reality you would have to face at some point if you were to end up with any hero.

Not to mention the paparazzi. They would always try to be involved in your life, and you couldn't have the security of anonymity to block your past or mistakes... it was another stressful thought. And who's to say your child should be born simply to have a quirk and protect the country? You grimaced tossing again, you had already signed but this was a major issue, you would definitely need to have an updated form of it when the time came. Your future children had a right to choose their fate like anyone else. You wouldn't force them. It was a hard idea to swallow, but nothing was rushed.

Maybe you could think of it like... if true love did happen, then a child would be possible, as you were sure they would like to have a kids with quirks...

"Agh- forget about it for now!" You grunted shoving one of the many pillows on your face- you had to get some rest, and surprisingly (maybe the bed was too soft) you felt your body ache and you passed out.

~

Your alarm was supposed to wake you up at 8am, but a text at 7:30 got to you first.

"Mm..?" You slowly reached your hand out, grabbing at first your cats back- to which he purred and rolled to his side happily. With a small happy sigh you slid your hand over to your phone to see who would disturb you at this ungodly hour.

You felt a rush of butterflies tickle your chest, smiling.

Before you could respond another text quickly popped up.

You snorted, putting your head down.

One more text popped up.

You laughed out loud at that one. He must be nervous!

"Continue your morning???" He thought as he stared at his phone with a look of regret at his last message. Why did his fingers fly and write such a ridiculous reply. And if she was asleep he most likely woke her up with all of his fussing!

He sighed and closed his phone, placing it in his back pocket as he went through the grocery store.

He had just finished his morning run (5am sharp as usual) and had decided to make a stop at the grocery store for some supplies for brunch. He had realized in his eagerness he could have just looked up the small profile Olivia had provided him the night before on some of your preferences.

Admittedly he was a bit... unsure how to go about things and had messaged the woman if there was any more information that would be useful for this mission so to speak.

A part of him felt embarrassed but he felt it normal to want to know a little bit about his perhaps future wife...

Okay he knew he was being a bit hasty- but it had been a while since he went on a real date with a girl! And now he was supposed to spend a whole day with one?

"And night..." his brain seemed to remind him. His hand hesitated as it grabbed a carton of eggs before snatching it frustrated with himself.

"Calm yourself Tenya! You are a gentleman and it is merely a meeting for work!"

He sighed shaking his head. He felt it foolish he was trying to convince himself it was work related- but it was the only way he could keep some semblance of order in his head... dating women was not clear and simple like studying or training.

He had hardly asked his manager to do anything extra for him, but the night before he felt he had to ask the poor married woman of 3 children what would be considered comfortable casual clothing before he left for the night from work.

His manager was a 37 year old woman who was practical and honest, with a warm personality as a mother. Her name was Rita.

To his question she laughed loudly in his face and shook her head.

"I was going to say just wear something simple that you find comfortable but you'd probably still end up in a suit! Just wear a solid colored polo and some khakis if you're so tied up about it. You have a sturdy man's body, you'll look decent in any clothes Iida." She wiped a tear from her eyes and waved him off as she left the agency for that night.

"There's still a possibility I could be underdressed..." he mumbled to himself as he placed a block of cheese in his basket.

He had a dark navy blue polo and beige shorts prepared for the day, along with a pair of his bathing supplies and a crisp new pajama set, he rationalized that the dark blue solid colored pajama set would be more formal for sleeping. He would figure out his shoes when he took a shower at home and changed.

~

Your morning was easy enough. You had set to shower and make sure you had shaved anything you'd prefer to keep hidden until you were more comfortable with the male, and had decided to lounge in a T-shirt and blue shorts until an hour when he would come, not wanting to mess up your dress before the date.

Breakfast was a bran cereal that was in the cupboard, you had confirmed wanting to eat brunch with him, and was glad to see there were eggs and some bacon stocked in the fridge... there was also a couple different bottles of wine.

"Really trying to ease the mood aren't we Hero Association..." you grinned to yourself shaking your head at the antics. The idea that a whole organization was trying to naturally stage baby making to two individual adults with their own lives was such a hilarious concept when you really wrapped your mind around it.

Though, the silly tricks and gimmicks were barely your concern- you were simply excited as a female to perhaps meet a nice gentleman for the day. Your nerves were there as suspected, but you felt a bit better knowing it was just you two- unsure if there were hidden cameras, but sure anything that went on would've been supported anyways by the Association. Either way you were better with one on one settings anyways.

We can't all be angels, you're both adults. But you were going to try to take things slow- there was a lot to digest, and you figured it would help everyone if you did that... if any of them even wanted to take things that far- or if even like them in a private setting.

You never knew who people really were until you got them alone for a bit. You didn't want to even graze the surface of becoming star struck. They were humans with emotions and personalities too.

A small walk around the grounds would help clear your head, you trusted to let Flint outside- he always came home and wiped his paws on the doormats before coming in. He was really quite the smart cat.

Before you knew it it was 11:30, and you had picked some of the gardens flowers to add to the solitary irises in the vase, the slight smell of fresh flowers making the space a little warmer.

Your hair was down and flyaways were smoothed out with some hair cream. You had put on a light tinted chapstick- not wanting to look too done up for a casual day. Also- he would need to see your real face more often than not if he was going to be your real partner, and they had all already seen your bare face that fateful day.

"There's no way to go but up!" And with a little bit of optimism you were sort of glad you were dressed like a bum the other day- so you could only show a better side of yourself now.

~

He had come at 11:50, and normally he would come in and introduce himself- but he hesitated at the door, a basket on his bare arm and his luggage of belongings as he began to panic a little.

"What if females find men that come early forceful? I do recall my last date making light of my earlyness... but would coming right on time seem too strict as we-"

Before he could finish his thoughts you opened the door. You had heard his heavy footsteps as he went up the wooden porch.

You giggled a teensy bit seeing him have an internal conflict, and found it best to stop him. He might get too into his head otherwise.

"You're early." You smiled, stepping back to let him in.

He froze in his expression- seeming to go rigid comically before offering a small stern smile.

"I- yes I am.. just nearly ten minutes- good morning Miss ______." He stepped in slipping out of his shoes- they were white sneakers- he mentally laughed at himself as he had spent a near hour picking them to only take them off after seconds of seeing you.

The eye contact in those few moments renewed the small pull. Like how the waves are controlled by the moon- he felt a sway in his chest at the sight of you, in a lovely spring inspired dress.

You stepped back some more, looking at his basket curiously.

"Good morning to you too Mr. Ingenium." You teased, offering to grab the basket and set it on the kitchen island.

He blushed a bit at that, trying to slip out of his sneaker on one foot, leaning a strong hand on a side table as he handed the basket to you.

"Would you prefer I call you something else?" He said softly.

You hummed looking back at him from the counter.

"______ is fine, unless that's too informal for you?" You looked back at the basket, musing at the eggs, veggies, milk, and fruit he had brought.

He slipped out of his shoes finally and walked over to wash his hands at the kitchen sink.

"...First names are fine.... you can call me Tenya then." He blushed a little, but was glad things were seeming to move along so quickly.

He walked beside you to grab the fruit.

"I can prepare brunch if you are hungry right now. I tried to bring things for a balanced meal, I noticed- well.. Olivia mentioned you liked (favorite fruit) so I bought a few." He blushed almost realizing he revealed he had a sort of cheat sheet on you.

You mused at the fruit, smiling in delight as he began to wash them to cut them up. He found the cutlery with a bit of organized searching, and began chopping the fruit up into cubes into a glass bowl.

You sat at the counter bar stool and watched him a bit. The sway of emotions were in you as well- you looked at his broad back as he prepped. Dark blue really was his color- it was a stoic and masculine color, you couldn't help but glaze your eyes down his form and to his thick calves.

Well he was a speed-type hero... so of course his legs would be extremely toned and thick. His arms were a good size too- you could imagine him sweeping you up in them with no effort at all. You felt a small warmth pool on your cheeks and in your stomach as you eyed him. Even through the properly fitted shirt you could marvel at his stalky body type. He was thick in all the right ways... just the thought made you stifle a laugh.

He glanced over his shoulder, trying to focus on his hands but feeling your eyes on him- it was a tingle running up his spine like electricity. He hoped you liked what you were seeing.

"Would spinach omelettes be alright with you?" He said casually as you rested your face in your hands, smiling at him.

"That sounds good- we have double the eggs now, the Association stocked some things in the fridge including eggs. So maybe we can make more egg dishes for dinner." You laughed standing up.

He marveled a bit at your form as it effortlessly seemed to waltz around the space, glancing at the eggs in the fridge.

"Let's use your eggs though, I'm sure they're better. The bacon looks good though." You teased, pulling out the tray and glancing at him- because he was looking at you.

"Is... bacon not good for the balanced breakfast?" You asked tilting your head.

He stared at you for a moment, a small smile forming on his face before he realized you had asked something.

"Ah- bacon will be f-!" He had nicked his finger on the knife in his distraction.

"Oh-!" You quickly went to the drawer next to him and pulled out box of bandaids.

"I-" he flustered, what was going on with his focus?

"Are you okay?" You put a soapy paper towel on it to wipe away the small trail of blood on the side of his finger, guiding his hand to the sink to rinse the cut off.

He seemed at a loss for words- embarrassed to make such a simple mistake while you were only talking to him, and even worse he couldn't find his words because you grabbing his hand in your own smaller softer ones were doing things to him mentally.

"I-.. .I'm fine." He managed to respond, allowing you to dry his hand with the gentlest of touches before quickly wrapping a small strip of bandage around the cut after applying some ointment.

He felt his cheeks were hot and the idea that you would see him blush made them feel hotter.

"I'm not usually this absentminded- bacon is fine... thank you." He said softly slowly gaining his senses as you gave his hand a small rub with your thumb.

"You'll need the protein now that you're injured."

He was glad he cut his finger.

The omelets were fluffy and sprinkled with cheese and spinach with mushrooms on the side. You discovered he liked mushrooms and his favorite food was beef stew, taking a mental note that he must like hearty or rich things then. You two discussed your preferences for food and relaxed considerably.

As you two ate at the dining table you felt a giddy thrill well up inside yourself simply speaking with him. The chemistry was definitely there.

~

You decided to walk around the house with him, as he needed to find his room to rest in for the night, and wanted to take a small tour himself.

"This one's my room, my cat Flint is wandering in the yard right now- I hope you're not allergic? He's really mild mannered and usually minds his own business." You chimed thoughtfully, hoping he didn't have an aversion to cats.

He had of course already gotten a tip from Olive that you had a cat and its name.

"I'm fine with pets, though my work keeps me from having one. I know pets take a lot of effort and time."

You nodded, glad he was thoughtful in that sense towards the responsibilities of pets... perhaps he would feel that way about kids? You showed him the onsen bath- finding it hard not to ask.

"What do you think of the place? Is it to your standards?" You asked partially joking partially serious. You didn't know he also came from a wealthy family- to which he assumed you knew.

"It is extremely extravagant... but it has a few details that make it a comfortable space. My childhood home is a bit more western than this.. but my own condominium is... considerably smaller- I only have a two bedroom right now, in case guests need to sleep over." He said calmly, noting that there were not designated male and female sections- no matter, you two could schedule separate times to bathe.

He decided on the room two doors down from yours, not wanting to be so close as to intrude on your personal space, and not too far to seem unwanting.

"What do you normally do on your days off?" You asked as he set his things down.

"Well- I use it as a day to train a bit more targeted muscles, but I know resting is important, so I take the day to make myself a meal and watch a few shows I follow when I have the time." He admitted, unsure if you would be interested in his old samurai shogunate shows he liked to watch. He really respected the strong values and duty the samurai had- alongside their skilled nature. Not all samurai were heroic, but the ones that were he could see himself as. Would you find it boring or too historical?

"Are you familiar with the older series Shogun Twice...? It's out of circulation right now- but I find it to be very entertaining and the actors do all their stunts themselves." He brushed his glasses up on his nose, straightening himself out as you leaned on the doorway.

"I've heard of it before- one of my relatives used to watch it when I was younger, I wouldn't mind checking it out if you like later tonight." You smiled, finding it interesting he liked action packed shogun stories. It did make sense- but it was a bit cute too.

He smiled, seeming to be a bit worried, and nodded.

"I brought a few DVDs of the first and second season if you like it. Otherwise we can alternate what we both like to watch too." He said, sheepishly pulling out his disk set.

Cute.

You nodded smiling wider.

"You come prepared don't you?"

He laughed a little.

"I get that a lot... I think its important for a hero to always think of possible supplies before a mission- though, this isn't a mission at all.. its a habit." He looked at his bag and thought to lay his pajama set on the bed as he usually would at home to prepare for slumber in the evening but decided not to take it out... somehow it was a bit embarrassing to show you.

"I also like to read a few books, as research shows daily reading improves memory retention and keeps your brain elastic." He said so thoughtfully, thinking about the two physics textbooks he also was keeping hidden in his bag.

Physics were important to brush on, he had to be aware of it for a lot of his hero moves. Speed, velocity... inertia... he found knowing the way the universe worked helped him better navigate his quirk, and helped him design new moves with the amount of force his engines could create.

You nodded again, keeping the giggle to yourself. He was a nerd through and through- and it was endearing.

"I only glanced at the third floor really quick- but it looks like a state of the art gym with a sparring room attached." You thought it'd be nice to mention.

"Maybe we can work out together sometime? Or you can teach me a few things I'm sure- I only casually go when work doesn't get the best of me." You explained, throwing a small line as he seemed to take it.
