(Still the same day Y/N and Gwinam were texting)
It was 11:30pm now, and I knew that I should be in bed, asleep, yet I am here, texting with the mullet boy in my maths class. Honestly, I would be lying if I said this didn't excite me. Yes, I know that Gwinam has a girlfriend, yet the thought of him and I texting at night just gave me butterflies.
Gwinam and I were texting and talking about how he had put his hand in the fan for me the other day, and honestly, I was actually laughing out loud.
Y/N: I'm freezing right now!
I texted him, because I mentioned earlier how I am always so cold.
Gwinam: I could warm you up :))
Oh my god. I thought to myself. No just no. Gwinam has a GIRLFRIEND. That would just make me the worst girl on earth if I flirted back with him.
Shit. I thought, trying to decide what to respond with.
Y/N: Don't you have a girlfriend?
I wrote, quickly pressing send, before I would regret it.
Gwinam: No, we broke up a while ago.
Phew. I thought to myself. That was almost a very close call. Imagine if I had managed to make and enemy with some random girl, only a few days in to my new school!
Y/N: Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't know.
I responded, feeling kind of guilty I brought it up. I hope it didn't make him feel upset.
Gwinam: No, it's all good. Don't apologise.
Y/N: Sorry.
I responded.
Gwinam: I said don't apologise!
Y/N: Oh i almost said sorry again lol. Idk what to say!
Gwinam and I then talked for a while more, and honestly I kind of found it nice. Maybe I will admit to myself that I did like Gwinam.
After all that happened back at my old school I am almost scared to properly connect with someone again.
I sighed as I continued to text the brown eyed boy, smiling at his responses, and the slight glowing, and warm, fuzzy feeling that I would feel inside, with every word I read from him.

Yuelei, who has grown used to living in the snowy mountains, moves north to the Holy Land of Ecclisa to attend the Royal Knight Academy. After Lin leaves, she slowly adapts to living with humans again, but not without ceaseless caution. The thinly-veiled peace is eventually broken, for the monsters that haunted the nights in the Whitefrost Mountains are returning once more. In response, the Holy Land of Ecclisa slowly prepare for war, but Yuelei is not just a mere bystander. All paths eventually leads to conflict. When it arrives, one can choose to deter it away, or to revel in it.
