《Long Story Short, The Condom Broke ✔️》Morning Run ✔️

I woke up the next morning not feeling tired at all. Sure I had to get up a few times because Chicka started crying but Liam was up before I got the chance to pick her up. He would then rush me off to bed and sway Chicka until she is asleep. It was like a little race we had going on throughout the night. We would see who wakes up first and rush to her side. Liam won most of the times seeing he is an extremely light sleeper. But at the end I still had to get up a few time to feed her. Liam unfortunately can't grow breast over night filled with milk.
I was up before Liam and I couldn't help but gaze at his gorgeous face. The light coming through the curtains landed perfectly on his sculptured jaw line. I only then realized how long his lashes were. Damn you boys for having long ass lashes. What is up with that? His lips slightly parts as he breaths through his mouth. He brushes his tongue over his bottom lip and exhales a little louder this time.
" I can feel you staring at me." he says in a husky voice.
My eyes almost immediately pops out as I blush from being caught.
" N-no I'm not." I say rolling back onto my pillow.
He sits up and rubs his eyes.
" Yes you were and it's weird." he yawns.
I roll my eyes and sit up as well.
" I wasn't-okay yes I was but I can't help it okay." I say crossing my arms.
Liam chuckles and leans over to kiss me. I try and forget about my awful morning breath and give him a light kiss back.
" Good morning beautiful." he smiles and yawns once more. The poor guy must be tired.
We sit and talk for a while as I go through my phone to check for important messages. Mom sent me a message about 10 minutes ago telling me to go make her some coffee. I exhale loudly and get out of bed.
" Where do you think you are going?" Liam says folding his arms around my waist and pulling me back into the bed.
" Liam no!" I laugh as I try and push him off from me. I quickly stop laughing as I realize Chicka is still fast asleep only a few feet away from us.
" I'm going to make some coffee and then I'm going for my morning run." I explain as Liam releases me.

Liam doesn't argue but follows me down stairs. I make sure that my baby monitor is on as I watch Liam start making coffee.
" I said I wanted to make coffee. " I argue trying to push him out of the way.
" Yeah but I don't really like your coffee. You poor in the boiling water before the milk. Disgusting." he says wrinkling his nose. His words instantly reminds me of the same argument Blake and I had. My heart aches as I remember the guy Blake used to be.
" There isn't any difference. One way or the other they end up together. "
Liam doesn't answer as he finishes the coffee. I take one mug and walk over to mom's room. I quickly say good morning and explain to her that I'm off for my morning run in a few minutes. I leave the baby monitor with her and head up to my room.
As I enter the room Liam is just about to pull on his shirt. Damn he's looking even better each time I see him. I try to avert my eyes from his rock hard chest but they're too beautiful to not stare. You get where I'm coming from? Okay yes this is getting kind of weird, I know.
" When you're done staring I would like you to hurry up so that we can go jog and come back and still have enough time left to do the things I planned." he says all cocky.
" Yes sir." I say as I walk over to my clothes and grab a pair of running shorts and a matching black sports bra. I quickly take off my shirt and pull on the sports bra. Most women feel insecure after their first pregnancy because of the weight they have to lose. Liam makes me feel beautiful each time his eyes lands on me. He doesn't care that I have stretch marks over my belly or fat that I still need to get rid of. That's why it's so easy for me to get undressed in front of him.
Quickly pulling up my shorts I tie my hair into a messy bun and pull on my shoes. I grab my airpods along with my phone and follow Liam down the stairs.
Liam shouts his goodbyes into the house as we walk through the front door. The weather is nice outside. Only a few clouds in the bright blue sky and a little breeze making its presence known every few minutes. Perfect for a morning run.

Liam and I don't talk much as I put in my airpods and begin to jog. I love my morning runs. It wakes me up and gives me the needed strength for the day ahead. I also love the change in scenery. It's so open and quiet here. You don't get that in New York at all.
I'm still busy enjoying the outdoors when I'm suddenly tackled down behind a bush with Liam landing next to me. My airpods fall out and I feel my heart rip into pieces.
" Liam what the hell?!" I yell getting really pissed as I pick up my airpods.
I'm quickly shut up when I hear the all too familiar sound of a gun being fired. My blood runs cold as I try and register what is going on around me. Another shot is made and Liam pushes my head down into the bush.
" We need to get away from here." Liam says filled with adrenaline.
" Who the hell is shooting at us?" I ask feeling my heart beat twice it's normal pace.
Liam doesn't answer as he takes out his phone and presses it against his ear. He gives our exact destination and tells the person on the other side to hurry up. Of course he didn't say it as nicely as I explained it.
" Just stay low." Liam whispers.
I can't control my breathing as I hear footsteps coming closer. Haven't I had enough of this trauma. I thought we killed the source that was the threat.
Clearly someone is pissed.
I hear footsteps come closer and closer with each second that passes. I'm yet to think of my next plan of action when Liam jumps up and swings a metal baseball bat towards the person standing in front of the bush. Where the hell did the bat come from? I look behind me to see a set of baseball cloves and a few baseballs laying around. Makes more sense now.
Liam lunges for the person and I take it as my cue to get up and grab the man's gun that is now laying a few feet away from him. He probably dropped it when Liam went bat shit crazy with the baseball bat. Hah-hah get it... Bat? Never mind.
I aim the gun directly at the guy who is now laying half unconscious under Liam. Liam is still throwing his fists into the guy's face.
" Liam. Liam stop!" I yell pulling him off. I look around me to see if anyone is obvious to what is going on. Not a soul in sight.
Liam was about to say something when we hear another shot being fired. I swear I can see the bullet pass me as Liam grabs the gun out of my hand and pulls me behind him while aiming the gun into the direction where the bullet came from.
In a matter of seconds Stella is beside me with her gun raised as well. Two older looking men are short on her tail as they aim their guns in different directions for in case someone tries to shoot again. Stella takes my hand in hers and starts leading the way while Liam is still on the lookout for possible threats.
" Come on. We don't know how many of them are still left." Stella rushes me towards her car. I get into the backseat as Liam hops into the passenger seat. I'll just leave the driving part to the gang members in front of me.
Stella immediately speeds off without a trace of any gunshots behind us. I watch as the two men who arrived with Stella also get into a car and follow us.
" It can't be the Snakes. We killed their leader and his second in command which obviously means the gang doesn't exist anymore because there is no one willing enough to take on that role." I hear Liam argue with Stella.
" Well maybe someone grew a set of balls and took on that roll. From the looks of it they are clearly pissed. " Stella defends.
" I killed their leader once. I'll do it again. " Liam says getting frustrated.
" Technically-" Stella starts but keeps it to herself.
Even though Blake killed Xavier we let Liam be. It's the least we can do for him seeing as he was doing all of this to get justice for his father.
My heart throbs as I think back to Blake. I really do miss him.
" It's not that easy anymore Liam. " Stella continues.
" Why not Stella?" Liam asks throwing his arms up in the air for emphasis.
Stella takes a long look at Liam and gulps.
" This time we don't have any leads. "
