《Long Story Short, The Condom Broke ✔️》Another Letter ✔️

I've gotten another letter. Not just a regular letter. No. Another letter. Another threatening letter but this time, I'm not the one being threatened. Chicka is.
The letter immediately sent shivers down my spine. Yes, it has been a month since we moved to England. Since then we have moved out of the hotel that I liked to call my little Kingdom, much to my dismay, and into a beautiful mansion.
Of course it was a mansion. I'm not even surprised. But I am surprised that Liam could manage to get a house that fast.
Liam had sent Lucas back to New York so that Ryan could stay with us seeing he's not too keen on the idea to go back home. Apparently Liam has more plans with Ryan than Lucas at the moment. Plans I definitely do not want to know about. Why does this sound dirty?
Stella is slowly but surely breaking down her walls when I'm around. We've had a few sleepovers these past couple of weeks, even though we live in the same house. She's actually not that bad once you get to know her.
Chase has also been warming up to me. We have our random coffee dates in the kitchen where we'll constantly talk for hours about anything that comes to mind.
Liam is his flirty self as always. Chicka has kicked for him a few times now and every time she kicks his hand, he gets excited all over again. He would stand up and freak out and then pull me into a tight hug. It's cute. I know.
I even found out that I was graduating in a weeks time seeing as I've been busy with home schooling these last few weeks. I'm not giving up my education just because some pshyco path want me dead. I had begged Liam for the past 3 days to let us take the jet back home just for the graduation. He finally agreed. Untill I got the letter this morning.
" There is no way I'm letting you get on that jet and fly back home. No way." Liam argues.

" But Liam. It's my graduation!" I argue back. We'll only be there for a day at the most. Is it really that much of a risk?
" It's mine as well Everly. We are not going. That's final." he continues.
I guess he has a point. It'll be too unsafe for us to go back in all this madness. I guess it's just another sacrifice that I'll have to make.
" What are we going to do about the letter? " I ask looking down at the pale white paper with blood-red letters printed on it. Seriously who the hell signs a letter 'you know who'?
" I don't know love. I don't know." Liam answers exhausted. His accent has been thickening since we got back. It's really hot.
I can understand why he must feel exhausted. We had to move to another country to avoid this for crying out loud. Still his dick of an uncle made it his life's mission to find us.
" He threatened Chicka Liam. I can't just sit back and stay calm."
" I know Everly!" he snaps.
His sudden outburst took me by surprise. He really is frustrated. I am too but you don't see me freaking out.
" Okay." I pick the letter up and head back upstairs into my room.
He just needs time to cool down I guess.
Not even ten minutes have passed before I hear a knock on my door. Of course Liam has come to his senses and came to apologize. Getting up to open the door I'm surprised to find Stella outside my door.
" Hey Eve. Can I come in?" she asks a little shyly. Strange.
I try not to look disappointed while I open the door further for her to come in. I love Stella don't get me wrong but I was really hoping Liam would be the one to knock.
" What's up Stella?" I take a seat on my bed and face Stella.

" So I met this guy..." she starts.
" Ohhh." I mock her.
She immediately rolls her eyes. This is so not like Stella. She never talks about guys. Not even at our sleepovers. I was starting to think she was a lesbian.
" He's cute and all but he doesn't mean anything to me like whatever." she continues.
" Hmm okay sure Stella." I continue on mocking her.
" Eve I would really appreciate it if you could shut up while I talk." she snaps.
I lift my hands up in surrender and wait for her to continue.
" He asked me on a date and I said that I'll give him an answer within the hour."
Stella looks at me, waiting for an answer.
" Oh, I'm allowed to talk now? " I joke.
She rolls her eyes.
" Well if you think he's cute then sure, go on the date. If you don't like it then just come up with an excuse. Say my water broke or something." I'm pretty sure that I've probably just given the best advice ever. I feel so proud of myself.
" Whatever." she says and walks out of my room.
Typical Stella.
Just as Stella's figure disappeared out of the room Chicka decided to kick again. I just love it when she kicks. But she usually kicks when she's hungry or well when I'm hungry. I make my way down the stairs and hope to avoid Liam at any possible cost. My hope is lost when I see Liam standing in the kitchen.
He turns around when he hears me walking into the kitchen.
" Sup." is the first thing to slip out of my mouth.
You've got to be kidding me.
" Hey. Listen I'm sorry about earlier. I didn't mean to freak out on you."
" No worries." I say walking past him to the fruit basket. Picking up an apple I start to make my way out of the kitchen.
" Everly wait." Liam lightly grabs my wrist just as I pass him.
" I really need to... Uh... Go eat this apple. " I try and find an excuse.
" Don't be like this Everly. I really didn't mean to talk to you like that. I just got pissed off because that bastard threatened Chicka." his facial expression is covered in concern.
Something about his words sent an uneasy feeling off inside of me. He's right. Chicka's life is already in so much danger and she's not even born. Imagine how her life is going to be once she is born. Constant threats. Gang wars. Blood. Death. And it's going to be all my fault. I can't even protect myself, how am I going to protect her. How am I going to promise her that nothing in this world will ever hurt her? How can I promise her that boys will be the biggest threat in her life? How will I be able to leave her alone for even a minute, knowing that ever second with her is a gift that can easily be taken away? The thought that I've been getting these past few hours pops up in my head again. I had convinced myself out of it but now it makes more sense. I have to do what's right for her. I have to do what I should've done a really long time ago. I don't have a choice.
" Everly... What's going on?" Liam's words snap me out of my thoughts.
My next words are probably the toughest words I have ever had to say in my entire life. It's the words that I've dreaded to say for these past 6 months. The words that no mother ever should have to say.
" I have to put her up for adoption."

You'll see a few similarities here between this story and some existing stories, at least initially. There's a lot of inspiration drawn from both MoL and Re:Zero, though in terms of pathos and darkness, this story leans more towards the latter. Be warned, it is something of a slow burn. The main character will grow and become powerful, but a theme of this story is that power comes slowly and often at great cost. Demons Don't Lie
Algier, average human and recent convict, has committed the gravest sin of all: demon slaying. His fate? To participate in the Culling, a battle-royale style tournament that’s televised live to the world, where all the worst criminals go to die. As with all tournaments, a prize is on the line. If Algier survives, he can have any wish granted by the Marquises, the new rulers of Earth following the demons’ invasion. However, there’s little hope for survival in a tournament designed to have demons do the work of the executioner, especially for a human. Demons are stronger, faster, wiser, and more talented than the average human, and, despite his crime, Algier is no demon hunter. Mentally defeated before the tournament even begins, Algier is torn between becoming another demon’s points and fighting on in his dead mother’s legacy. But should he choose to fight, there is one advantage that Algier has that can tip the odds in his favour: Demons don’t lie, but humans can. How to read this story Demons Don't Lie is written from the perspective of an unreliable (lying) narrator. There are many inconsistencies within the story which are placed there intentionally. It's up to the reader to decide what is the truth and what is the lie. Promotion Full quality cover image

Wizards of the Otherworldly Court: End of the Five, Twenty-three, and Twenty-nine Years Story
Alternate titles: - Five, Twenty-Three, Twenty-Nine Years - 5, 23, 29 "Dad? I think I got a really bad fever, why do I still feel fine?" "It feels cold..." Five years ago, Owen became a Court Wizard in search of his father who was lost to the unknown three years prior. But that wasn't the beginning of the story. Maybe it began twenty-three years ago when Ronald Bell and Joshua Ruze saved the Illyer family. Or perhaps, it all started twenty-nine years ago, when Ronald, the son of the wealthiest merchant, became a Court Wizard. Well, it doesn't matter anymore, for the story five, twenty-three, and twenty-nine years ago shall now meet its end. 2nd book written in the Wizards of the Otherworldly series. Read Wizards of the Otherworldly Court: Alicia first. This story is split into two 'Collections,' Ronald's Collection and Owen's Collection, each centering around those Court Wizards. Crossposted with WordPress site, Wattpad, Sufficient Velocity, and Rainobu. Wizards of the Otherworldly Court is a fantasy story about the Otherworldly Court, an inter-dimensional (or world-hopping, you get the idea) organization made up of people of all ages, gender, and race from many parallel or different worlds. They are granted elemental-like magic powers and called themselves 'Court Wizards'. They are tasked to watch over the many worlds they come across and step into these worlds on 'missions' to preserve the balance, life, order, anything to make said worlds better places in the shadows but may reveal themselves if necessary. However, these missions may partially or even fully oppose their nature, personal interests, and ideals. Yet, most of the Court Wizards are aware and willing to complete even the worst missions that would shatter their true selves that they will never cast aside regardless, either growing or regressing because of it. Basically, it's isekai to multiple worlds but each book after Wizards of the Otherworldly Court: Alicia focuses primarily on one world while also discussing its lore in detail. Book Alicia is the introduction containing the essential worldbuilding of the Otherworldly Court universe you need to know while shoving in as many characters and worlds as I can. Also, each book will have a different main character, sometimes more than one in a single book, like Jojo.
