" And how old are you again?" The doctor asks me probably for the 3rd time since I got here.
" 17."
"Typical." she mumbles.
I turn to Alexa that is sitting at the other side of the room. If this lady wasn't rubbing some jelly-stuff on my belly, I would've thrown her with a chair by this time.
I get it. I'm 17 and I'm pregnant
Typical I know. Rub it in won't ya?
Alexa gives me a warning look as if saying to calm down. She knows what I'm capable of when I'm getting ticked off.
Alexa's warning look doesn't calm me down but the sound of a beating heart immediately snaps me out of my murderous thoughts and I look towards the monitor.
" And there's your baby." the doctor announces as she points over to the ultrasound screen.
Well thank you captain obvious for that piece of useless information.
My gaze is swifted to the little screen. I don't see a baby though, it looks more like a jellybean than anything else.
" The baby looks healthy and is surprisingly in a good condition." the doctor continues.
" Surprisingly?"
If she is going to say that it surprises her that I can keep this baby healthy, I'm going to attack her with her own chair.
" I saw from your past hospital records that you have Unicornuate, a congenital uterine anomaly and it usually leads to a difficult pregnancy. " The doctor explains and I let go the thought of attacking her.
I let out a breath of relief. 7 weeks down and only 33 more to go.
After the doctor had printed out the pictures of the scan, Alexa and I headed out. We first stopped at McDonald's because I've been getting huge cravings for their fries. After gulping down the fries, Alexa dropped me off at school.
My appointment was scheduled early so that means I've only missed the first two periods of the day. Lucky me.
I bid Alexa a goodbye and start heading into school. It's about five minutes before third period starts which means I have English.
I make my way over to my locker and quickly grab my books. I notice the students around me starting to part way and I know exactly why.
are coming.
Way to sound dramatic Everly.
You might wonder who are. Well they are they and they scare others. Confused? Let me make it simple.
Walking down the hallway in all their glory is the D&D's, also know as, Devils Decipels.

I'm not over exaterating. It is legitimately their name. When I first heard the name I couldn't stop laughing for about 10 minutes but my laughter got quickly replaced by an unsettling feeling in my stomach. They are not people you want to mess with.
Every girl drools over them and every guy dreams of being them but don't let their looks blind you. They are dangerous. They are not your friend and you don't want to be their friend.
When they walk down the hallway you immediately look the other way. No eye contact what so ever. And I, I find it pathetic.
The first one you immediately recognize of the D&D's is Liam Wells. Yes, the Liam that came up to me yesterday. Liam Wells is the leader of the D&D's. With his dashing smile and looks sent from heaven, everyone fears him. Look I don't blame them, he just got out of prison.
On Liam's right side is the one and only Chase Ashton. He's Liam's best friend. With his charming smile and gray eyes, it's hard to imagine him being a member of the D&D's. He's seems too sweet for that.
On Liam's left side is Lucas Dallas. Definitely the mysterious one. I don't think I've ever seen him smile or heard him talk.
Walking just a little behind Liam is Ryan Bridge and Liam' twin sister, Stella Wells. I haven't met Stella before so I can't really judge her from what I've heard. Ryan on the other hand has a different story. He's the flirt out of all of them. And when I mean flirt I mean fuck boy 2.0 .
The strange thing about the D&D's is that they have a girl. Usually you'll think that a group like theirs only has guys but surprise surprise.
They martch down the hallway in their signature leather jackets and I take it as my cue to leave for my next class. I don't want to be late.
Tucking my blond hair behind my ear I grab my books. I'm about to shut my locker door but a seemingly hot Greek God stands in the way.
Take a wild guess everyone.
" Let's go for a walk." Liam says with a smirk. I do notice the faint English accent in his voice.
Damn I love an English accent.
It takes me a minute to realize that the whole D&D group has stopped at my locker. Well shit.
Stella looks irritated while filing her nails. Chase is watching me closely, as if he's trying to read my mind. Lucas is glaring at me for some odd reason and Ryan is just flirting with a girl that's standing near my locker. Figures.

" Uh no thanks." I say uncomfortably and shut my locker door.
I hear gasps go off around me. I only then notice that the crowded passage was watching the scene unfolding in front of them. I would be too if I were them.
Liam chuckles. " It wasn't a question."
" I answered it anyways."
Liam looks stunned by my answer. I don't even know where all this confidence is coming from. Seems like these pregnancy hormones are doing me some good at least.
I take his silence as my cue to leave. I make my way down the passage, wondering why in the name of peanuts Liam wanted to talk to me?
I know he came up to me yesterday but I thought he took the hint when I just up and left. Well technically Alexa was getting impatient in the car but still.
English goes by fast. My thoughts are drowning in questions as to why Liam came up to me. Why me? Why now all of the sudden? I have a feeling that he's up to something. Definitely not something good.
The bell rings for lunch and the students start making their way to the cafeteria. I on the other hand start making my way outside. I find a tree that offers enough shade for me to sit under. I plug in my airpods and I let the music take me away. I close my eyes and enjoy the outdoors.
I've always been an outdoors person. I love being one with nature. Not in a hippy way. I love sitting on the grass and listen to what mother nature has to say. Hearing the birds chirp, even though I'm listening to music. Feeling the light breeze against my skin has always calmed me.
Out of habit I place my hand on my belly and rub it softly. Sensing that I'm not the only one enjoying the outdoors, I open one eye.
Sitting next to me, enjoying a chicken nugget, is Liam.
I take out my airpods and turn to my side to face Liam.
" You know." he starts.
" Walking away from a conversation is very disrespectful." he bites on the chicken nugget.
" From my point of view I did end the conversation." I reply.
He takes his time to finish his nugget and then gets out one more.
" I wasn't done talking yet. " he says sternly.
" Does it look like I care? " I ask, starting to get my things together.
" You do know who you are talking to right?" he questions.
" And I do know who I'm saying goodbye to." I say and get up.
Getting ready to leave I'm stopped once more by a strong grip on my arm. Oh no. It's happening. His reputation is going to define him at this very moment and I'm the unlucky victim on the other side. He won't hurt me right? I mean the guy that is supposedly to be dangerous and doing all sorts of illegal stuff is sitting with me during lunch and eating chicken nuggets. It doesn't seem too dangerous to me? Maybe he's just trying to distract me or- will you calm down!
" Why is it so hard to talk to you?" Liam says defeated.
" Why do you even bother? "
" I wanna get to know you." he shrugs.
" Bullshit. Just get it over with would you. Call me a slut or a hoe. Then we can say things are settled here and you don't have to talk to me again. " I start ranting.
He looks irritated by the end of my rant. Leave it to me to piss off a guy that just got out of jail.
He gives me a few seconds to calm down before he speaks again.
" You are not a slut and you are most definitely not a hoe. "
I look at him stunned. Did he- did he just? What?
" I'm sorry what?"
He smiles at my reply. I can't help but melt inside. Damn he's a good charmer. Dimples plus an English accent will sent any girl on cloud 9. Maybe this is how he gets his victims. He charms them till he steers them away from reality and leads them to their death. Like a siren. I'm seriously just freaking myself out right now.
" The names Wells. Liam Wells. Nice to meet you. "he grins, putting out his hand for me to shake.
Did he just James Bond his name?
" Names Adams, Everly Adams? " I say, unsure about this whole scenario.
" Chicken nugget? " he asks as he takes out another nugget.
What just happened?
