Two hours fifty one minutes and twenty seconds.
That's how long Zyria, Dakota and Knox been sitting in this waiting room waiting for news on mysterious the little boy who Zyria had no idea who was.
She was assuming that he was their little brother but she was waiting for them to confirm that.
"You guys want to tell me who he is" Zyria said softly to the two siblings who were both staring at the floor with an blank expression on their faces.
"Just leave it alone Zyria" Knox said darkly and Zyria sighed looking at the floor.
"I just want to know what's going on" she mumbled softly making Knox huff loudly in annoyance.
"It's non of your concern, you can leave. We don't need you here" He said but Zyria shook her head and opened her mouth to protest.
"No I-"
"Leave!" Knox screamed looking at Zyria with anger filled eyes making Zyria jump. She opened her mouth to say something but no sound was able to come out.
"Dakota" Zyria whispered looking at the girl who wasn't said anything since they arrived. She didn't say a word as she continued to stare at the ground with a blank look on her face.
"Family of Ares Parker" Someone said and Knox and Dakota looked up to see a doctor standing at the front of the waiting room. They hurried out of their seats and walked to him.
"Is he okay" Knox asked quickly and the doctor looked up from the clipboard in his hand clearing his throat. Zyria stood up as well and moved a little closer to the doctor as well but not as close at Knox and Dakota.
"Um we should really wait until the parents of Ares arrive" The doctor started but Dakota shook her head sighing.

"His mother is here. I'm his mother" She said and Zyria's eyes widened before she stepped back. The doctor nodded quickly and began telling them the news of their son and nephew.
"Your son's condition was worse but with this sudden fall may have caused things to be worse then they were before. He ended on his head sadly which caused a small brain bleed but we were able to control that." The doctor said and Dakota let out a small sob as she shook her head.
"My suggestion to get him comfortable and say your goodbyes because I don't believe he will survive the next few days" the doctor added and Dakota's knees buckled causing her to almost fall to the ground. Knox was quick to catch her in his arms before she hit the ground.
"My baby" Dakota cried and Knox shushed her pulling her head into his chest and he nodded for the doctor to leave.
"Knox w-what am I g-going to do" Dakota said shaking her head as she clutched Knox's shirt crying loudly. Zyria stood awkwardly watching them as she tried to figure out what to do and say.
"Um" Zyria said and Knox looked back at her causing her to bite her lip.
"Leave Zyria" Knox said and Zyria shook her head stepping toward the two siblings but Knox shook his head as well.
"I'm holding my little sisters who is just in high school as she cries for a miracle for her two year old dying son. I don't have to energy to fight you so I'm asking nicely to please leave" Knox said and Zyria sighed and nodded before walking around them exiting the waiting room quickly.
"I can't lose him Knox" Dakota said shaking her head as she wiped her tears desperately trying to stop crying.

"I know Kota I know" he said softly as he rubbed her back. He helped her up and into a seat.
"How am I suppose to go in there and see him like that" Dakota mumbled softly as she looked at her big brother.
"You have to put a small smile on your face and be strong for him okay? Keep your thoughts positive and just be strong. When you feel yourself about to fall apart just looked at me and I'll distract him while you excuse yourself." He replied rubbing her back softly.
"I c-can't" Dakota said shaking her head but Knox stopped her making her look at him.
"Be strong baby sis like I know you are." He said and Dakota paused biting her lip as she nodded slowly.
"Okay" she mumbled softly and licked her lips slowly.
"We can sit out here for a few more minutes and then you will get up and go be with your son" Knox said and Dakota nodded wiping her eyes.
"Okay"
And that's what they did. Knox rubbed her back for about few minutes and when it was time to go he tapped her shoulder. Dakota sighed before getting up with Knox's arms still wrapped around her.
"Come on" he said and they got a nurse to show them to Ares's room. Knox let Dakota stand outside the door for a few seconds before he slowly opened to door for her.
Ares laid on the small hospital bed hooked on IVs and a oxygen tank. Ares's head turned toward the door and his eyes lit up as he raised his arms for his mother.Dakota quickly went to his side and smiled at him sadly as she looked over him.
"Hey baby" she said softly and Ares smiled moving the oxygen mask off his face as he mumbled a small hi.

Zyria stood outside the hospital doors leaning against the wall as she thought over everything. She already called her brother to come get her and now she was just waiting for him.
"His mother is here. I'm his mother"
Dakota's words still kept ringing in Zyria's ears as she tried to make sense of it all.
"Why didn't she ever say anything or why didn't o ever see her with a child" Zyria mumbled to herself and sighed running a hand down her face as thoughts circled around her mind.
A horn honked and Zyria looked up to see Zaire waiting for her. She quickly hurried to his car and got in.
