Zyria and Kai sat next to each other staring at Knox and Dakota who have been in a conversation with Octavia for the past two hours. After catching up with Octavia some outside of the school, Octavia offered to go out to eat with Dakota and Knox.

Zyria and Kaia ended up tagging along but not because Knox and Dakota. It was because Octavia asked them to.

"I'm ready to go" Kaia said to Zyria who agreed. Zyria opened her wallet pulling out the money for her plate of fries. Kaia put some money down for her salad before both of them slid out of the booth.

"Where you guys going" Dakota asked them mainly looking at Kaia who rolled her eyes.

"I'm going back to Zyria house" Kaia answered before grabbing Zyria hand pulling her to the exit.

"Wait why are you guys leaving" Knox asked them as he stood up out of the booth.

"Clearly you guys don't need us here" Zyria mumbled but Knox heard her.

"What are you talking about?" Knox asked as he frowned.

"I'm going home Knox I'll see you later" she said and turned back to leave.

"Wait come on stay please" Dakota said getting up grabbing Kaia's hand.

"I'm not feeling well Knox" Zyria said truthfully to Knox who was looking down at her.

"Come on we can go" He said before turning back to grab his jacket. Zyria looked at him and frowned.

"Wait no you don't have to leave" she said to him grabbing his arm.

"No if you want to leave then we can leave" Knox replied and she pouted her lips before nodding.

"Octavia it was nice to see you again" Knox said to her and she smiled at him nodding.

"You too I'll see you later" Octavia said and sent Zyria a small smile. Zyria turned to Kaia who was in an intense conversation with Dakota.

"Kaia I'll see you later" Zyria said to her and she nodded before turning back to Dakota.

Knox placed his hand on the small of her back before they both walked out of the restaurant heading to Knox's car. He opened her door for her and she got in fastening her seatbelt.

"Where do you want to go" Knox asked her and Zyria bit her lip thinking.

"Can we go to my house" She asked him and he nodded before pulling out of the parking lot.

It didn't take them too long to reach Zyria's house. As Knox pulled into her driveway, Zyria could hear music blasting from inside.

"Great" Zyria mumbled before getting out of the car. Knox followed her before locking the car. Zyria opened the front door walking inside.

People were playing video games on the couch in the living room while a lot of people were outside in the backyard dancing and talking with red cups in their hands.

"I'm going to kill him" Zyria mumbled before walking around to find her idiot brother.

"Zyria!" Someone yelled making Zyria turn toward the voice to see Hunter and Jada smiling and waving at her.

"What are you guys doing here?" Zyria yelled over the music and Hunter smiled big as he took a gulp of his drink.

"Your brother invited us" Jada said and Zyria rolled her eyes before walking away to find him.

"Zaire! What the fuck!" Zyria yelled over the music as she saw her brother dancing with Trinity. Zaire looked up and smiled.

"Hey twin welcome to the party!" He yelled making Zyria roll her eyes.

Knox turned to Jada and Hunter who were dancing to the music.

"I saw Octavia today" He said over the music and Jada frowned as she looked at him. She nudged Hunter before grabbing Knox's hand pulling him outside the front of the house.

"What do you mean you saw Octavia" Jada asked him and Knox sighed as Hunter came up behind them.

"She jumped and kinda tackled me when I was talking to Zyria." Knox mumbled and Hunter sighed.

"Knox you know how you get when Octavia is around" Jada bit her lip as she looked down at the grass.

"Shut up" Knox said quickly and Jada sighed.

"Hey guys so my mother is going to kill my brother when she gets home and I don't want to be accused when she gets here so any of you want to drive me somewhere until one in the morning" Zyria said quickly as she walked up to Knox,Hunter, and Jada. Hunter and Jada turned to Knox who sighed and nodded to Zyria.

"Yeah sure let's go" Knox said to her and she smiled before walking away to his car.

"Listen dude don't fall into Octavia's little trap again please" Hunter said putting his hand on Knox's shoulder before letting go and grabbing Jada's hand heading to their car.

Knox sighed before heading after Zyria who was already leaned against the car, staring at the ground. Unlocking the car doors, he opened the door for her allowing her to get in which she sent him a smile of gratitude.

"So where do you want to go?" He asked her as he got in the car before starting it. Zyria bit her lip as she gripped her seatbelt.

"Honestly I don't care where" She mumbled out as her eyes shifted to look out the window at the almost dark sky.

Knox nodded before pulling out of her driveway. They both didn't say much of anything as Knox's radio played 'All the time'.

Knox couldn't help but glance at Zyria a couple time as he drove. He is confused yet excited when it came to Zyria and he doesn't know what that means.
