"I fucking hate school" Hunter said as he sat down next to Jada. They all were in their government class waiting for the teacher is late.

Zyria usually sat in the back and they all ended up in the back of the class. Dakota and Kaia were sitting together and Hunter and Jada leaving Knox and Zyria to sit next to each other.

Kaia originally sat next to Zyria but Dakota begged her to sit next to her not wanting to sit next to her brother.

"It's the fourth day well your first day" Jada said looking at him as she played with his hair.

"And they already giving out work" Hunter complained making Kaia laugh.

"That's what I was saying earlier to Z. Last night they gave us a questionnaire to fill out like who the fuck does questionnaires" Kaia said rolling her eyes.

"Zyria!" Someone said and Zyria looked up to see her twin brother Zaire walking up to her.

"Hey Zai" She said to her brother as she smiled getting up to hug up.

"Where were you yesterday?" Zaire asked his sister as he hugged her back.

"Oh I was hanging out with Kaia and some friends of ours before I slept over at her house" Zyria said as she sat back down.

"Oh hey K" Zaire said waving at Kaia who waved back.

"Oh Z this is Dakota, Jada, Hunter and Knox" Zyria said introducing them. They all sent a Hey his way except for Knox who was glaring at the table.

"This is my twin brother Zaire" Zyria added as she smiled. Knox's eyes looked up when she said brother and his eyes softened.

"Hey you play football" Hunter said noticing that Zai had his football jersey on.

"Yeah I'm the quarterback and captain" Zaire replied and Trinity walked up to him.

"Oh this is my girlfriend Trinity" Zai said introducing her as she waved at them.

Zaire and Hunter started to get in a conversation about football which had everyone interested except for Knox who was now looking at something on his phone.

"You don't seem to talk much" Zyria said softly to him as she looked at him. He didn't say anything just shrugged staring at his phone screen.

Zyria sighed before writing something down on a piece of paper before giving it to him. Knox looked at it before reading the word written on it.

"Good morning well almost afternoon everyone sorry I'm late." The teacher said making Zyria look up sitting up as she focused her attention on the teacher. Everyone got in their seats before paying attention to the teacher as he became to teach.

"We sitting with Dakota and them right?" Kaia asked Zyria as they walked out of Government. It was now lunch time and Zyria honestly wanted to go outside for lunch.

"You can, I'm going to go outside today for lunch" Zyria said and Kaia looked at her with a small frown on her face.

"I don't want you to be by yourself though" Kaia said and Zyria smiled wrapping her arm around her best friend.

"Relax Kaia I can survive without you" Zyria said and Kaia smiled and sighed.

"Okay but you better text me if you need me" Kaia said pointing her finger at her friend. Zyria laughed and nodded.

"I will. I just want to be alone today and enjoy the outside air" Zyria said and Kaia looked at her weirdly but nodded understanding some.

She couldn't blame her best friend for wanting to be alone today.

"I'll see you in gym right" Kaia said and Zyria groaned but nodded. They said their goodbye and Zyria went outside. She wasn't really hungry right now which is why she didn't stop at the cafeteria to get food.

Zyria walked to a tree that had some shade before sitting down against it. She took a book out of her book bag before opening it and reading it.

A few minutes later she felt someone sit down next to her making her look up to see Knox staring at her with his blank stare.

"Hey?" She said and He didn't say anything back instead kept staring at her.

Zyria felt uncomfortable and decided to just keep reading her book which became hard for her as she kept feeling Knox's stare on her.

As time passed, Zyria looked up to see him leaned against the tree closing his eyes.

"You know you didn't return my hi" She said suddenly making him open his eyes to look at her.

"It really hurt my feelings I was excepting something back" Zyria said referring to the note she gave him in government as she pouted her lips. She was lying she really didn't care that he didn't say anything back but she wanted to see if she could get a reaction out of him.

Nothing. Just a blank stare.

Zyria sighed and went back to her book not talking to Knox for the rest of the lunch period.

Zyria sat in her chair bored out of her mind as she tried to pay attention what her teacher was saying. It was the second to last class for school ended and Zyria was so ready to go home and sleep the day away.

Knox was the only one she shared this class with and he sat next to her not saying anything like always. Zyria wasn't even surprised at this point she was growing use to it.

A few minutes before class ended Knox slid something toward her. Zyria looked down to see it was a note.

Hey.

She smiled at the small hey and wrote hi back before giving it back to him.
