"Zyria let's go to the mall" Kaia said as she smiled sitting on Zyria's bed. Zyria frowned and sighed.

"You always want to go shopping" Zyria mumbled looking at Kaia. She shrugged not even bothering to disagree because she knew it was the truth.

"Because it's fun. I don't want to do anymore homework, let's take a break" Kaia pleaded pouting her lips as she looked at her best friend.

"One hour that's it" Zyria said as she sighed. She knew she couldn't say no to Kaia when she started pouting like that.

"Yay thank you" Kaia said smiling as she hugged Zyria.

"Come on get dressed" Kaia said and Zyria looked down at her clothes. She was wearing a black and white two sided oversized T shirt with dark gray cargo pants on. Her hair was pulled in a messy bun with a few strands out and nike Jordan's.

"I am dressed" She mumbled looking at her best friend.

"Fine" Kaia said and went to Zyria's full body mirror to take some pictures.

Kaia was wearing a light tan brown crop top with a black zip up jacket and washed out high waisted jeans. Her wavy brown hair was styled in a low ponytail with two strands of hair out in her face. Her face was all natural with some cute lashes on.

"Come take a picture with me" Kaia said and Zyria huffed getting up walking next to her friend. Zyria was shorter than Kaia by two inches since Zyria was only five feet tall.

"Don't be mad you knew I was going to ask for a picture" Kaia said and Zyria couldn't help but nod in agreement. Kaia loves taking pictures and posting them on Instagram.

"Hold on" Zyria said and took her curly black hair out of the bun she had it in and let her hair flow down her black. She ruffled her hair some before posing with Kaia in front of the full body mirror.

"Ouu we look cute" Kaia said as they took their pictures. Zyria smiled before walking to her bathroom. She washed her hands some and looked at herself in the mirror.

Zyria isn't skinny but she wasn't big either. She weighed only 156 but looked bigger because of how short she was. She had a curvy shape with thick thighs and round hips.

She is Hispanic and black mixed. Her mother is Hispanic while her father is black. She was always told she looked a lot like her mother because of her body shape and height but also her green eyes were just like her.

"Kaia I'm serious about this hour" Zyria said as she walked out of the bathroom. Kaia rolled her eyes as she sighed.

"I'll try okay" Kaia said and Zyria nodded before putting on her black and white checker board vans.

That's good enough for me Zyria thought in her head before walking out of her room with Kaia behind her.

"Where's your brother?" Kaia asked as she didn't see him around.

"With his girlfriend" She mumbled as she walked into the kitchen. Kaia rolled her eyes.

"I still can't believe that Trinity only became your friend to date him" Kaia mumbled as she looked at Zyria.

"To be honest I don't think that she was only being my friend to date him. She seems like she really like being my friend" Zyria as she shrugged getting a water out of the fridge.

"Maybe yeah" Kaia said before they walked out of the kitchen and left out the front door with Zyria locking the front door.

"You're driving" Zyria said and Kaia groaned.

"You know I hate driving Z" Kaia said and Zyria smiled throwing her the keys. Kaia caught them and got in the driver's seat.

"Which is why I did it" she replied and Kai playfully glared at her. She started the car and Zyria fastened her seatbelt.

"You want to stop and get food" Kaia asked Zyria as she drove down the road to the mall.

"Nah we can just get something at the food court" She answered and Kaia nodded.

Zyria and Kaia have been best friends since middle school. Kaia moved next door to Zyria in seventh grade and transferred to Zyria's school. Kaia's locker ended being right next to Zyria and they instantly clicked.

"I'm bored" Kaia said suddenly as she stopped at a red light.

"Bitch how are you bored? You're driving a car and you're bored!?" Zyria said looking at her crazy. Kaia shrugged and looked out the window.

"You know I get easily bored and distracted" Kaia defended herself as she pouted.

"Girl drive the damn car" Zyria said and Kaia huffed before driving as the light turned green.

"You know for someone who is really shy and quiet around others, you are very mean and loud to me" Kaia said and Zyria laughed shaking her head.

"That's because I'm comfortable with you Kai" She replied and Kaia smiled.

"It's because I'm amazing" Kaia said flipping her ponytail making Zyria bust out laughing at her crazy best friend.

"And crazy" Zyria added making Kaia laugh and shrug.

"True true" Kaia said and she pulled into the mall parking lot looking for a parking space.

"Hey there's one" Zyria said pointing to an empty space.

"Thanks Z" Kai said before pulling into the space and parking the car.

"One hour" Zyria reminded Kai and Kaia groaned.

"I know I know" Kaia said as they got out the car. She locked the doors and they walked to the mall entrance.
