1 year later*

Raelynn's Pov:

I straightened the last strand of hair before putting the straightener on my counter. I already did my make-up and put on my dress so I put on my accessories.

Kyson was taking me on a date tonight.

We both choose a nice restaurant in the city to spend a nice evening together.

As I was putting on my heels, I heard Kyson.

"I'm home,"

During these last months, a lot changed. Kyson practically moved in with me. There were some of his clothes in my closet, he has a spare key to my house, we sleep in the same bed almost every night, we take turns in doing chores around the house and we do grocery shopping together as normal couples do.

He was making me fall in love with him every day.

I glanced at the clock on the bed table and it was still 5:30 pm.

Kyson is early...

He walked up to our room. His eyes landed on me and he smiled, "You look gorgeous."

I smiled, "Thank you."

He walked toward me and leaned to kiss my forehead.

"How was work?" I asked him.

"It was kinda boring." He replied. He walked to the closet and took out a white shirt and a pink tie. He walked back to the bed and changed his clothes.

"I kinda broke one of the cupboard's handles in the kitchen, I tried to fix it but it got only worst," I told him with a pout.

He chuckled.

"Is it the one below the sink?" He inquired.

"Yeah,"

"I'll fix it tomorrow."

"Thank you."

I walked to the mirror and glanced at myself. Kyson walked to me and wrapped his arms around my waist, kissing my cheeks.

"Ready to go?" He asked softly.

"Yeah,"

We both made our way downstairs and went to the car. He drove us to the restaurant. I turn on the radio and let the music fill the silence of the car. Twenty minutes in, I realized that this wasn't the way to the restaurant.

"Are you sure this is the right way?" I asked Kyson.

"No, it's not." He replied making me frown.

"Then why are we going that way?" I asked him.

"I did a last-minute change in our date. I'm taking you somewhere else." He replied firmly.

"Where?"

"That's a surprise Love. Now relax and enjoy this long ride."

It was indeed a long ride. Two hours later, he finally stopped the car.

"Did we reach?" I asked for the eleventh time.

"Yes, we are here."

As soon I stepped out of the car, a familiar salty smell hit my nose.

"Are we... at the beach?" I asked him.

"Yeah,"

We intertwined our fingers making our way to the beach area.

"How come you chose the beach for our date?" I asked him as we walk.

"Well, it's been a while since we left the city and our crowded surroundings. I figured that the beach is the most romantic and peaceful place for our date night." He explained.

"Hmmm,"

We walked down the wooden stairs. Suddenly Kyson stopped and turned to me.

"Love, I'll need you to trust me and close your eyes," Kyson spoke.

"Okayyy,"

I closed my eyes.

She closed her eyes like I asked her to.

"I'll guide you," I spoke and she nodded.

Still holding her hands, I walked to the venue that I booked for her. My eyes landed on the setup and I was satisfied.

I made her walk to the end of the red carpet before making her stop. She was already facing the sign, so I walked behind her.

"Where are you going?" She asked her hand reaching for me, her eyes still closed.

"You can open your eyes now," I say.

I could see her face and when she opened her eyes, her reaction was priceless. Her eyes widened as she read the sign.

"Shut up," she gasped.

I took out the velvet box from my pocket before kneeling on one knee.

"Raelynn,"

She turned to me.

"Oh my God," she mumbled still in disbelief.

"Will you marry me and make me the happiest man alive on earth?" I smiled.

"Yes! Yes, I will marry you." She smiled.

I grab the diamond ring and put it on her finger.

"It looks good on you," I commented.

She threw her arms around me, hugging me. I stood up, wrapping my arms around her. I felt her body shake, making me frown.

"Are you crying?" I asked looking down at her.

"Y-yeah, happy tears." She mumbled against me.

I grabbed her chin, making her look at me.

"I love you," I said.

She smiled, "I love you too."

I slowly leaned to peck her lips. Before I could pull away she started to kiss me more fiercely.

I can't believe it.

I'm fucking engaged!

"I'm sorry but I didn't tell anyone that I was proposing to you tonight. Hence, why we are alone." He apologized.

"That's okay. We can face time them later."

I looked back at my ring.

"It's so pretty," I commented.

"You are pretty." He corrected me making me chuckle.

Shortly after, we sat down and order our dinner. While waiting for our food to come, I face time some people.

The first one was Ryker and Cassandra. We have a group chat, so I face time them in the group.

Cassandra picks up first.

"Well hello there," she greeted me.

"Hi," I greeted her back.

Ryker picks up.

"What's up? You are kinda interrupting me right now." He said before moving the screen lightly on Natalie who was leaning on his arm.

I didn't talk, instead, I show them the ring on my finger.

Cassandra gasped, "Oh my God!"

"What?" Ryker frowned, not understanding it.

"Wait, she got engaged." Natalie got it first.

"Woah," Ryker did a double take.

"Congrats bitch,"

"Congrats Rae,"

"Well sis, congrats,"

I smiled, "Thanks,"

The next day, I walked around the mansion with my new ring on. I only wore it for one day because I know it'll get lost or dirty from my missions. Jim and Thomas were the first ones to notice.

"The fellow proposed, huh?" Jim taunted.

"I smell something burning... Oh wait, that's you." I smirk.

"Congrats boss," Thomas smiled.

"Thank you."

"I can still get you easily," Jim joked.

Thomas punched his arm, "Give up dude."
