Raelynn's pov:
A whole week went by.
Today dad came with some weapons to the mansion. Ryker took him to the office to discuss some paperwork while I went to our weapon storage. I got Thomas and Ian to help me to carry some of the boxes.
Ian helped me to put out most of the stuff on the shelves while Thomas goofed around with the new guns, trying them like some spy guy. I know he was trying to look cool and hot but honestly, he looks like some kid playing with a dinosaur's toy.
"Give them we need to put those away," Ian told Thomas for the fifth time.
Thomas point the gun at him. "Phew, phew," he pretended to kill Ian.
Ian rolled his eyes, "Dude grow up."
"The sooner we finish this, the sooner we will be out." I pointed out.
Thomas dropped his shoulder, "Fine party pooper."
Ian grabbed the gun before going up the ladder to put it on the top shelf.
"And done," Thomas spoke.
"No thanks to you," Ian added.
We put the empty boxes on the side before stepping out and making our way to the training area. Jim was training with the guys today and he was going hard on them. Jace was back too and he was feeling better. Right now he was by the exercise mat, sitting and looking at the training session.
We joined him.
The guys sat down but I didn't, I stood by him.
Jim suddenly stopped, looking our way.
"What are you two doing? Join us." He told Ian and Thomas.
"Huh, we have a mission to go to." Thomas lied glancing at Ian hoping that he would lie too.
"We are on a fifteen minutes break," Ian added making Thomas grin.

"Yeah, sorry," Thomas told Jim.
I chuckled.
I felt Jace hit my leg making me look down at him, "Your dad is coming here."
I looked to the side and indeed dad was coming toward us with Ryker behind him.
"The number is correct, I already stored everything," I informed dad.
He gave me a nod, "Great."
He let his eyes roam around the area looking at everyone.
"By the way, I got the news that you went to Canada last week." Dad started making me glare at Ryker who instantly shook his head no.
"It wasn't me," he defended himself.
"It wasn't him," Dad confirmed.
"I went with Cassandra for a few days," I told Dad.
"That's great, sometimes it is good to get away from daily routines. So, how is Kyson's dad?" He asked casually shifting his eyes to me.
"He's nice-"
I instantly stopped talking when I realised what he just said. I bit my tongue, looking at him.
"What?" I chuckled nervously.
"Raelynn honey, do I have to remind you that I was once a leader and I have friends too." Dad pointed out.
"So you are friends with Evan?" I inquired and he nodded.
"Yes I am, I worked with him a lot." He added.
Well, shit.
"And imagine the surprise that I felt when I learned from him that you went to meet him as Kyson's girlfriend," Dad spoke.
Oops.
"What!?" Ryker looked at me shocked.
"You've got a boyfriend?" Thomas frowned.
Jim stopped his training, "She what!?"
I rolled my eyes.
"But I'm pleased to hear that he liked you and that you kill his asshole of a brother, I hated him," Dad stated.
"He tried to kill me so I kill him first," I explained.

"Good, Now I want to talk with Kyson, so call him here," Dad told me, making my eyes widen slightly.
"What?"
"Yes, I'll be waiting for him in your office." He elaborated.
"But dad, he's busy working and I don't think he'll be able to come-"
"If you call him, he will come," dad interrupted me.
"But-"
"Now," he stated.
Oh shit.
---
Right now, I was still in the backyard with the guys. Ryker was staring at me feeling betrayed that I didn't tell him about having a boyfriend. I already called Kyson and he agreed to come.
So we were waiting for him.
I heard the gate open and I instantly made my way to the front of the mansion where I stopped by the stairs. I watched Kyson park his car before he stepped out. He looks handsome like always. Today he was in a black suit, black vest and white shirt. And of course his signature bun hairstyle.
He put one of his hands in his pocket as he walked to us. Yes, the guys followed me to the front.
"Hi," Ryker went to handshake him.
"Hi,"
"So you are the boyfriend," Ryker spoke.
"That would be me," Kyson said firmly.
Kyson was back to his 'blank' self, where he was more professional and less friendly.
I moved forward, grab his arm and pulled him to the side away from the guys.
"I'm sorry about dad," I told him.
A smile formed on his lips, "It's okay. You met my dad, so it's only fair that I met yours."
He leaned and gave me a sweet, soft kiss on my lips.
"He's in my office, waiting for you," I told him.
"I'll go then,"
"I'll come with-"
"No, it's alright."
He reassured me before walking inside to the stairs.
"He's a dead man," Ryker commented behind me.
I turned to him, "Don't underestimate him."
"Don't underestimate him," Ryker mimicked, earning a punch from me on his arm while the boys snickered.
We waited in the lounge for him to come back. I tried to push all of them away but they refused to move. They stayed with me for the whole thirty minutes. We finally heard them approaching, making us turn our heads to the stairs.
I was surprised to see him and dad talk like old friends. Dad laughed at something he said but nodded agreeing. I turned to Ryker with a smug face and he rolled his eyes. When they step on the last stairs, I approached them.
"Thanks for coming Kyson and I was happy to meet you." Dad smiled before patting his back.
"Likewise Michael." Kyson nodded.
Dad walked away and once he was in a good distance, Kyson wrapped his arm around my neck pulling me to him. I wrapped my arms around his torso.
"Told you it'll be fine," he gave me a trivial smirk.
"What did he say?" I asked curiously.
"Sorry love, that's between me and him," he replied making me pout.
"Finneeee,"
"Anyway, I gotta get back to work. See you tonight." He said and I nodded.
"See you."
