Raelynn's Pov:
For the next hour, we stayed on the bed talking about random things. I was sitting, my back leaning against the pillows and the headboard, with my legs, slightly tugged to the side while Kyson was laying on his back, his head on my lap.
I was playing with his hair, which was super messy right now. He was holding my other hand in his, in a firm grip on his chest while playing with the bracelet he gifted me on our date. When we were talking, he would occasionally tilt his head to look at me.
While doing so, he was giving me a good look at his fading hickey. I removed my hand from his hair and lightly run my finger on the bruise.
"I see that the mark is fading," I commented.
"This is the reason why you are here right now." He pointed out.
I chuckled.
He took out his phone from his pocket, turn it on and looked at the screen before turning it off again.
"It's lunchtime. We should head down." He spoke as he put his phone back in his pocket.
"Okay,"
We both moved, getting ready to go downstairs. I sat on the edge of the bed, putting my boots on while Kyson went to the mirror to fix his hair. I watched as he tie his hair tightly in a bun, leaving two strands of hair on his forehead.
I stood up, walking toward him.
"Such a pretty girl," I teased him.
He did the last twirl of the hair tie before turning to me. He reached to hook his finger in my jean and pulled me, making me slam against his front. My hands went to rest on his chest while he reach to cup my chin.

He leaned dangerously close.
"Watch that pretty mouth of yours. You are already in trouble for two things, don't complicate your situation, darling." He told me, his eyes shifting from my eyes to my lips and his voice got deeper.
"Two things?" I inquired confusedly.
"Hmm, for giving me a hickey and for the picture that you sent, knowing damn well what it'll do to me." He elaborated.
"So I can't give you hickeys or send you my pictures?"
His eyes darkened, "Of course you can and you should. And since you already mark me, now I get to do my part."
"Which is?" My voice came out lower.
"I'll have to step up and unfortunately, it means that I'll have to do worst." He said before sealing his words by pecking my lips.
He pulled away, his whole mood changing back to his normal self.
"But for now, my dad is waiting for us for lunch." He says before grabbing my hand and intertwining our fingers. He proceeds to walk to the door but I stopped him.
He turned to me.
"If that was a promise, I hope you'll keep it," I spoke.
The corner of his lips curled in a smirk, "I always keep my promises darling."
With that being said, we both made our way downstairs to the dining area. As Kyson said, his father was at the table waiting for us. He was in his wheelchair at the head of the table while Alec was sitting on his left side talking with him.
They both turned to us when they noticed us.
"Hello again dear, take a seat," Evan told us, gesturing at the chairs.
We did. Kyson sat on his right side while I sat beside him. I looked at the food in front of me and there was a lot of food. There was some grilled chicken with baked carrots, some grilled corn, mashed potatoes, grilled sausages, some side sauces, garlic bread, white rice and there were some cut fruits on a charcuterie board.

"I hope you like chicken and grilled food," Evan said looking at me.
"I do, and these look delicious," I replied my eyes going back to the food.
"Well, it tastes as delicious as it looks," Alec added.
"Sorry for being late," Tobias apologised as he came to the table. He pulled the chair before sitting beside Alec.
"It's okay, now let's have lunch before all these foods get cold," Evan spoke.
We grabbed our food and started to eat. As Alec said, it tasted as good as it looked.
"I hope you don't mind us asking you a few questions to get to know you." Evan started, making me look up at him.
I shook my head," sure, you can."
"So do you two live together?" Evan asked.
I glanced at Kyson, "No-"
"We live and work in the same city but we don't live together," Kyson replied.
"I understand," Evan nodded.
"Do you have a sister?" Alec suddenly questioned.
"No, I have a twin brother," I replied.
He did a face as he was thinking about something in his head before his shoulder dropped slightly, "Unfortunately, I am not gay."
Huh?
Tobias chuckled, "Don't pay attention to him, he's the whore of the family."
Alec reached to smack Tobias in the back of his head.
"Well, did I lie?" Tobias asked Alec.
"Yes... Partly. I am not a whore. I just have commitment issues that do not allow me to settle. I use my charm to get girls, do my things and then leave. No feeling attached." Alec explained.
"One day it'll be 'newborn baby' attached," Kyson said sarcastically making us snicker.
"Look who is talking." Alec retorted.
The fact that it almost happen when we first slept together made me bite my lip, glancing at Kyson. He was calm, looking at his brother.
"Enough now," Evan let out. He wasn't mad, he was amused.
"The most important question," Tobias started, "How did you two meet?"
The first time we met was in Kyson's office when he sent his friends to 'kidnapped' me. It was kinda like his father just kidnapped me and brought me here.
Kyson remained silent and I think he realised it too as he glanced at me.
Since they were waiting for us to reply, I did.
"Well, he asked his friends to kidnap me and brought me to his office," I replied.
They all froze, looking at me surprised before shifting their gaze to Kyson.
"Woah,"
"Like father, like son."
"Dude you can't be mad at dad now. You did it first." Alec pointed out.
"It was different," Kyson argued.
"Sure," the three men said together, not believing him.

Well, that wasn't exactly true, my parents had been preparing, and I on the other hand had been mostly unwilling with the whole affair. See I was a werewolf, my whole family was, or pack if you will. It was tradition for all those of marriageable age to gather on the strongest werewolf pack in the world, to try and impress the next Alpha to be, the most powerful werewolf in the world. It was a major honour to be chosen by the Alpha, for the individual and their whole pack. So here I was, packing a bag for the journey and time I would be spending at the strongest pack in the world, which was called the Stentorian Pack and was located deep in the mountains surrounded by forest. My parents thought I had a chance, they'd told me what to eat, how to act, and how to look all my life, needless to say, it had gotten old pretty quick. All the lack of control I'd had over my life had boiled down to this day, it had all been for this day. The Mischievous Mrs. Maxfield
***The wrong girl is sometimes The Right One.*** Charlotte Samuels thought she'd be stuck waiting tables at Marlow's until all her debts are paid off-in about ten thousand years or so. She definitely didn't expect a marriage proposal from the arrogant Brandon Maxfield who was blackmailed by his father to make her his wife if he didn't want his least favorite cousin to run Maxfield Industries. Charlotte's instinct was to say HELL NO! but she's stumped by a few obstacles: 1.) His old man Martin Maxfield is dear to her heart and has been recently deteriorating in health. 2.) She gets a million dollars if she stays married to Brandon for a year. 3.) She would rather like the opportunity to teach the attractive but awfully rude man a few lessons he didn't think he needed from a 'teenage gold-digger' which was his term of endearment for her on their first date-er, business meeting. So what's a girl got to do, right? Sure, she's young and a little rough around the edges but there's something her would-be husband didn't know about her yet-she's nothing like he ever expected. Thrust into the glitzy world a standard-issue Mrs. Maxfield would fit perfectly and rule with impeccable social grace, Charlotte will either have to force herself into the mold or break free of it, risking what little she has left for everything that she can gain.*** Copyright © 2014 by Nina Tippett.
