Cassandra's pov:
As soon as I reached the antique boutique, I put my bag behind the counter and walked around to pick up the stuff that was thrown out of the shelves overnight.
It was a daily routine.
First, I pick up the books and put them back on the shelves. Then I looked around for the crystal rocks that I usually keep on top of those books and place them back.
I then pick up the other stuff and put the antique boutique together, nice and clean.
Just as I was putting the last object in a box, I felt something hit the back of my leg hard making me winced in pain.
"Motherfucker." I murmured, reaching down to rub the sore area.
I turned around and found one of my paperweights on the floor. It was one of those raicine, heavy paperweight, no wonder my leg was still hurting.
Sighing, I bend to pick it up.
I was about to stand up when I felt a gush of wind and something else was thrown over my head, missing me, hitting the floor.
This time it was a book.
"Ok, whoever is here you know that I can see you, feel you and communicate with you. So stop this and come in front of me." I stated firmly.
I slowly stood up looking around.
However, there was no one and all activity stopped. I can sense bad energy or evil energy but this one was different. It seems like a child energy.
Maybe the child is throwing stuff at me to get my attention and it needs my help...
"If you need help I can help you," I added.
There was a knock on one of the shelves. I made my way there and looked around. A paper flew from there and landed on the ground so I reached to pick it up.

It was one of the old papers that my mom kept from her 'rescue mission'. I roamed my eyes on the paper and a particular image caught my eye, it was a tombstone from the cemetery.
"You want me to go to the cemetery," I said aloud.
There was a knock, right behind me.
Well, the message was clear.
I kept the paper with me and went to grab my bag before making my way out.

I reached the cemetery and parked. Like usual it was empty and dead silent. I stepped outside and I instantly felt the sadness and anger of this place.

This morning when I dressed up I thought that I would have a calm day at the boutique and later on, I will ask Raelynn to accompany me to the mall but here I am in the cemetery clearly unprepared.
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a shadow and it was going to the back area, where no one goes. I carefully walked there alarmed by my surrounding.
There was no road but a slope dirt hill with rocks and the energy that guide me here was on top, waiting.
How the fuck am I going to climb up with heels?
I put my bag across my neck on my side before trying to climb. I held onto one of the branches as I steady myself. So far, I made it to two steps.
"Hmm hello,"
In the process of turning around, I lost balance and my body fell backwards making a scream escape my lips. Luckily I didn't land on the ground but in the safe arms of Valentino.
"Are you okay?"
I looked up at him.
"Yeah, I'm good," I reassured him.
He put me down on my feet.

"I would have said thank you but it was your fault that I fell." I pointed out.
He chuckled, "My bad."
"What are you doing here?" I inquired curiously.
"Came to bury a body." He said making my eyes widen slightly at how casually he said it.
How many times did he bury a body!
Looking at my expression, he got alarmed, "You know what Raelynn does right? Like her job, the mafia or was I not supposed to say that? Did I just fucked up by telling that to you?"
I was amused by seeing him rambling, clearly panicking.
"Cute to see one of the right hands of the Kyson Lucero rambling to a girl in a middle of a cemetery," I commented.
"So you know?" He asked again.
"Yes," I smiled.
He sighs, "Thank God."
He then raised an eyebrow, "What are you doing here?"
I hesitated to reply. Most people found me crazy and get distant when I tell them about my gift.
"A work," I replied briefly.
"A work that had you climb a hill full of rocks with heels." He pointed out.
"That's part of the job," I said honestly.
"Okay, can I help you then? Cause you will break a few bones if you try alone." He suggested.
Should I let him?
I looked up and the energy was still waiting for me.
"Yes, thank you," I said looking at Valentino.
"Great... you see the side of the hill? It has a trail where there are fewer rocks, we can go up from there, it's safe."
How did I not notice that?
I'm an idiot.
We did as he said.
Within ten minutes we were on top. I looked around and my eyes landed on a lonely rock in the middle. I walked there and bend down, rubbing my hand on the dirt to see what was written on the rock.
Lesli jones
"Lesli," I read out.
A form appeared in front of me making me look up. A girl in a pink gown was looking down at me. She turned around walked to another spot where she sat down and disappeared.
Why did she bring me here?
"You can see it?" A stunned voice said behind me.
I looked at Valentino who was staring at me, "You are staring at a particular spot and looking at specific directions and everything is on point like you saying the name and your eyes following something."
Woah...
"You are the first one who got it so fast," I said amazed.
"Oh my Lord, you can."
I sigh, "You can go. I understand."
"Understand?"
"Yeah, lots of people find me crazy after finding out that I'm a medium. I will understand if you want to go away." I explained as I stood up.
I looked around trying to find the girl, Lesli but I didn't find anything.
"Who is she?" Valentino asked as he stood beside me.
"A little girl," I replied.
"Oh,"
I felt an arm wrapped around my waist, jerking my body backwards before a big rock landed on the spot that I was standing on earlier.
"Is that her!?" Valentino inquired, his arm still wrapped securely around me.
I looked at the spot where the rock came from and I only found dark shadow figures. They were evil ones.
"No, but we need to leave."
