Serenity Pool Fit ↑ (Without the hat)

"Miss me with that bullsh*t, you not a gang member your a tourist," I begin to sing as I put on my trippy sunglasses. One week from today I will be back at my favorite place in the universe, school. Peep the sarcasm. As I dance around my room I swing my arms around carelessly and knock something off of my dresser.

Great its my jewelry holder, pray to god nothing is broken. As im picking up the partially tangled necklaces I come up with the greatest idea of going swimming. It is a hot day so why not. I text Jayla to see if she wants to come too. It has been a while since she has had some acting stuff to do.

As I am waiting for her to reply I go ahead and shower, making sure to shave extra good. Dont want nothing hanging out. I blast some music and thoroughly wash myself off. After my wonderfull shower I step into the mirror and lazely finger coil my hair. I try not to put to much product or effort into it, due to the fact it is just gonna get messed up in the pool.

I look over to my phone to see if Jayla replied.

Yeah sure Just come to my house when your ready.

As I put my phone back on the counter I see Javon calling.

"I Didn't think I needed to since I was only going with Jayla"

"What about you?"

I hang up cutting him off, this was supposed to be a day for me and Jayla to catch up, not a everybody hangs out with Serenity day. I put on my swimsuit, making sure everything is straight. I go to my closet to look for some denim shorts as a cover up. I grab them and quickly throw them on before reaching for a drawstring bag. I grab the nearest nike pro bag and throw in an extra outfit, towel, money, and charger in the bag before pulling it shut. I spray some perfume and grab my sunglasses before leaving my room. I walk into the kitchen and leave a note for my mom before heading out of the door.

"Honey im home," I sing as I bust into Jaylas room. I scan the room looking for her but before I can ask were she was she screams she is in the bathroom. I walk into the bathroom and see Jayla slipping on her shorts. "You almost ready to go?" I ask walking over too her. "Yeah let me just slip on my shoes and we can leave," she says reaching for her shoes. I walk back into the main room and wait for her to get finished.

As me and Jayla are walking down the stairs we hear people in the living room. We both look at each other confused. "Finally y'all are ready," Jaden groans. I scan the room and se Javon, Jaden, and Mia sprawled across the couch. "Who the fuck said y'all could come," Jayla says trowing up her hands.

"Um us?" Mia says getting up. Who the fuck does she think she is? "Well I don't think y'all got a invite or do I just have amnesia," I say walking up to Jayla. "Bro just let us come," Javon says. "Ren, you know this is a loosing battle lets just go." Jayla mumbles and grabs her keys. Me and her Just walk out of the door with the other trailing behind us.

Once we actually get to the park the tension has eased up and we all just started jamming in the car. Jayla's car comes to a halt and every one gets out. I grab my bag and walk up beside Javon. He wraps his arm around my neck and pecks my forehead. "So, Do you maybe want to go somewhere before school starts next week." He asks. "Yeah sure, we can think of somthing later this week." I respond walking up to the pool gate.

I type in the code and hold the gate for everyone to some in. It is a nice neighborhood pool. It had a nice clubhouse to the left of the pool, and the pool is pretty big. I pull by towel out of my bag and place it onto my lounge chair while placing my bag to the side.

I put my hair into a claw clip and begin to take off my shorts. "You ready to go swimming," I ask the others looking over to them. They all respond in a yes, except for Mia, of course. I just shrug it off and then we all jump into the pool at the same time. Once I come back to the surface I swim over to Jayla. "So how is your acting coming?" I ask pushing the loose strands of hair from my face. "It is really well, im having a good time." She replies with a big smile.

After swimming around for a while we decide to do a chicken fight. Mia still hasn't gotten into the pool. What a party pooper. I am on Javons neck and Jayla is on Jadens. "Ok, Three Two One GO!" I shout and soon after me and Jayla rush towards each other. I grab onto Jaylas and and begin to twist hopping to trow Jayla off, but dang that girl has good balance. She attempts to push me backwards, but leans forward too much and brings the both of us down.

As we both resurface we all bust out laughing. I swim over to Javon wrapping my legs around his torso from behind. "Y'all wanna play dunk then go home?" I ask breaking the silence. They all agree and to switch things up I go over to Jaden and Jayla goes over to Javon. I look over and see Mia is scrolling on her phone. What was the point of even coming. We all set up. Jaden holding me Bridal style and Javon doing the same to Jayla. "Mia can you come over and ask questions." Jayla shouts over to mia. She agrees bluntly and comes over to the pool dipping her feet into the water."Alright y'all ready," Mia asks then we begin.

"So Serenity, What is Jadens favorite app on his phone." "Um I don't know YouTube," I say not knowing the answer. "Um no it is TikTok of course, im a TikTok baddie." Jaden says pretending to flip his hair. He dunks me under. I wipe my eyes the Mia asks Jayla a question which she gets right.

Mia asks a few more questions which I mostly get wrong. "Alright Serenity the last try before you get one last final dunk." Jaden teases. I roll my eyes in response. "Ok, what is Jadens favorite subject." Mia asks. "Shit I don't know Social Studies," I answer instantly regretting it. "Nope," Jaden says popping the 'p'. He Dunks me under, but not only my head he flips my feet over my head, making me do a back flip.

Once we all get out of the pool we all wrap up into our towels, grabbing the rest of our stuff exiting the pool. We get into the car and let the radio play, in silence. Once we drop mia off at home we head back to the house.

Im back!! Miss me, I made this chapter wayyyy longer than all the other ones. Basically "Dunk" if you didn't know is a pool game were you ask a person questions about you and if you get it wrong you get dunked, and if you get a set amount of questions wrong you do a whole underwater backflip.
