《kill my mind - m. atsumu》e: fiancées

"where are you taking me?" you asked when atsumu picked you up and started walking with you over his shoulder.
"places." he repeated the same answer from back when you two were still fake dating.
"you better not fall while carrying me." you said and poked his lower back.
"no promises."
"I'll kill you."
"no you won't."
"maybe i will."
atsumu raised his hand and smacked it back down on your ass. that caused your leg to kick him out of surprise and you slapped his ass back.
"stop it before i drop you." he said and looked over his shoulder at you.
"you started it!"
"you said you would kill me!"
"i don't mean it!" atsumu put you down and made you face him.
"there's always a five percent you mean what you say." he said.
"not to murder! who do you think i am?"
"l/n y/n. my girlfriend." he answered.
"exactly."
atsumu bent down and scooped you up again. "okay back on track we go." he started walking again.
"fun."
"your head okay?" he asked, making sure you didn't pass out or anything.
"great, enjoying the view." you said and patted his thighs.
"nice to know." atsumu finally reached the spot and put you down.
but kept one hand over your eyes.
"okay." atsumu was talking to himself that this point. "okay."
he removed his hand from your face and you looked around.
"why the fuck are we back in school?" you asked when you saw where he bought you.
"well." you had your back to him and were looking at the classroom while atsumu was fumbling with his pockets.
the lights were off and he had hung fairy lights around the room to light it up. the same lights he had in his room.
"this was where we had that whole agreement thing. fake dating. you know, then that grew into a real dating thing." atsumu pulled out the box and felt himself getting nervous.
"i threw a pen at you here." you remembered.
"and i caught it." atsumu nodded and started calming down when you remembered the classroom.
"and where you formed all three rules. and then broke all of them." you turned back around. "i think we have a habit of making rules and breaking them."

"new rule?" you looked up expecting to see atsumu there, but instead he had one knee down on the floor and a certain box in his hand. "don't get married."
"that's so much commitment that you're committing to me.." you said, shocked while staring at the ring and then at him.
"you're worth committing for."
"i refuse to cry."
"just cry already." he nudged your foot with his own. "so, do you want to break this rule with me?"
"no."
"you're joking." atsumu was unfazed by your answer. he knew you too well.
"you're right. I'm kidding, of course i will." you jumped on him before he fully stood up and he had to pull away from a hug so he could get the ring on.
"rule something something, broken." he kissed your forehead before kissing your lips. "i love you."
he looked down at you when you didn't answer.
you started tearing up and that scared him a little bit. "did i actually make you cry?" he asked and put you down on the desk.
"you're gonna be committed to me for who knows how long?" you were waving your hands in front of your eyes to keep the tears from dropping.
he held your face in his hands and placed a kiss on your nose. "we're not getting a divorce."
"you're jinxing it!" you pushed him away and pointed at the desk. "knock."
"knocked." he tapped his knuckles against the wood and returned to you.
"you aren't allowed to anyway." you wrapped your arms around his waist and pulled him closer to you.
"and you actually want to marry me." you said and atsumu nodded. "and then like be that married couple."
"crazy right?" he asked and pulled your face back to wipe the few tears that had fallen.
"oh and suna and samu were recording." atsumu added.
"what?" your head snapped over to the door where the two were standing.
"you didn't even see us." suna turned his phone off and hopped over the desk to sit next to you.
"you're worth committing for." osamu mocked and turned to suna, looking into his eyes passionately.

atsumu slapped his brother on the head and leaned on the desk next to you. "they helped set up the lights."
"all the sweat and work we had to do." osamu said and looked up at the lights.
"it took you ten minutes." atsumu looked over at his twin.
"still hard work."
"can you believe these two are adopting a kid next week?" atsumu asked you.
"two kids." you corrected.
"what really?" atsumu stood up straight on the desk.
"yup. one boy, one girl." suna nodded.
"we should get one girl and one little dude." atsumu snapped his head back to you.
"we just got engaged pretty boy. give us a year or two." you said and placed your whole hand over his face.
"okay. a year it is." atsumu pulled your hand away from his face and looked down at your hand. "i picked a pretty good ring didn't i?"
suna and osamu both looked over to see. "went with your mom and grams." atsumu spun the ring around your finger.
"did you ask my dad for the permission stuff?" you asked.
"first thing i did when i realized i wanted to marry you." he nodded. "no seriously, i ran out of the house and into the car."
"is that why you showed up at my house randomly at eight in the morning?" you recalled the memory.
"which time?" atsumu thought of more than one time he showed up at your place early in the morning.
"the most recent one." you answered.
"four days ago? yes. let's go show your family the ring so your dad doesn't question why i didn't propose yet!" atsumu grabbed your hand and dragged you out of the school yard.
"we just gonna leave them in the room for them to make out?" you asked when you got into his car.
"yes. it's not our classroom so."
"we were breaking into the school?" you questioned and looked back at it.
"technically, yes."
"risky. i love it." you spent the car ride admiring your ring and atsumu noticed.
"you love that ring too much." he turned into the driveway of your house.
"no. what? i don't know what you're talking about." you got out of the car and went to open the front door.
"wedding ring is gonna be fun to see your reaction." he said and walked through the door. "grams!"
"yes?" your grandma was in the living room with your parents.
"guess what?"
"i did it. i asked the question. all under a week." atsumu boosted nad pulled you to stand in front of him to show your ring.
"you just came to me and asked four days ago.." your dad looked at your hand and your mom jumped up from the spot next to him.
"shush. it probably took your four months to ask or something." your mom took your hand in hers and looked at the ring.
"excuse you no. it took one month." your dad corrected.
"well it took atsumu four days." your mom gave the two of you and hug and you walked over to your grandma after.
"good to see you wasted no time with that." your dad said to atsumu.
"no point in wasting time when i already got permission." atsumu had finally dropped the formal was within the two years after you two graduated.
"keep her happy alright?"
"would never think of anything else." atsumu looked over at you and then remember you were tearing up earlier.
but those were happy tears
didn't count
you sat down next to her and she reached for your hand. "pretty ring." she said and then spun it around. "four days? what rush are you in?"
"got bored of being just boyfriend." atsumu sat down in a chair by himself. "so i upgraded to fiancé."
"soon-to-be husband." your mom added.
"don't you two have those nicknames? what was it? pretty boy and sunshine." your grandma asked. "ever got tired of being called that?"
you looked over to hear his answer first to see him already looked at you with a soft smile on his face.
"never."
