Notice: In the next few chapters, instead of focusing on Hinata and Kageyama (like it does in the anime) I will focus on (Name) and Tsukishima (and Misawa).
In this chapter it'll be events that happen during the night with all the managers :)))
~
Night 1
~
You and the managers of the other teams sit in a circle in one of the rooms. Pillows fill the floor as the girls stir up gossip, soon moving onto relationships.
"So (Name)... are you into anyone?" Kaori, one of the managers for Fukurodani Academy asks nudging you with her elbow.
"No way." You laugh.
"I've seen you and Tsukishima Kei together... what about him?" Yukie asks.
"Beanstalk?" You begin to laugh. "No way! We both hate each other."
"Then why is your face turning red?" Yachi teases.
You feel your red face and cover it quickly as the other girls laugh.
"What about Misawa?"
"You mean Kuroo's younger brother? He's pretty cute." Eri smiles.
"I think he has his eyes on (Name) though. Do you see him looking at her during the matches?" Mako makes eyes all turn to you.
"Me?"
"Ooh Tsukishima has a rival!"
"Wow (Name), you're popular with the guys." Your sister says coming in with snacks.
"KIYOKO YOU TOO?" You bury your face into your pillow, flustered.
Kiyoko laughs putting down the tray. "I'm just kidding, but Tsukishima definitely has an interest in you."
You stare at your sister for a full 10 seconds as the other girls 'oooh'. In embarrassment you throw a pillow at Kiyoko.
"PILLOW FIGHT"
You spend the rest of the night throwing pillows at each other. When it's finally all over, everyone is fast asleep. You stare at the ceiling as your eyes grow heavy. Thought swirl through your mind about the earlier conversation. You shake your head quickly thinking about Tsukishima and you dating. You laugh to yourself and turn to your side, drifting off to sleep.

Night 2
~
"Okay girls its time for Truth or Dare!" Kaori holds a flashlight under her chin.
"T-Truth or dare!?" Yachi holds your arm.
"Sounds fun" You rub your hands together.
"Then... Truth or Dare (Name)" Kaori smiles, giving you chills.
"Dare of course!" You say confidently.
"I dare you to go to the Karasuno room and draw on Tsukishima-san's face" She sneers.
"Oh thats it? Okay" You get up grabbing a black marker. You and the other girls open the slide door and sneak out.
Two doors down was Karasuno's room. You quickly run over to the room and slide the door open slowly. Most of the team members are still awake, in a circle playing card games. You look at the back, seeing a sleeping Tsukishima. Your mouth forms an evil grin as you and the other managers scatter around the room. You sit next to Tsukishima, who sleeps with a quiet snore. You hold the marker in your hand, up ready to draw on his face. Instead, you stare at Tsukishima's face. Looking at him reminds you of a sleeping baby, looking innocent and pure. You look at Tsukishima, realizing if you do this dare, how angry he would get. Not to the point where he'd ignore you, but to the point where he'd try to get pay back.
You look around, everyone waiting for you to complete the dare. As peer pressure gets to you, you force a smile and begin to draw on his face. You write 'Beanstalk' on his forehead and draw a bunch of lines across his cheeks. You dot a little spot onto his nose. The girls laugh as Yamaguchi looks at you worryingly.
"(Name)-chan.... Tsukishima is a--"
"Don't worry Yamaguchi-kun. It'll wash off when he washes his face... I think" You look at the side of the marker.
"light sleeper..." Yamaguchi trails off quietly.

'able to wash off in 12 hours'
You laugh realizing he would have to wear it for the morning match. As you laugh to yourself, Tsukishima's eyes slowly open. Your eyes widen seeing him wipe a little drool as he sits up.
'shit shit shit shit. he'll definitely know its me now....'
"Shortie?..." Tsukishima narrows his eyes, trying to get a good look. The tired first year moves his hands around for his glasses. When he puts his hand on it you quickly take it away.
"Seriously? Give it back" Tsukishima reaches for your raised hand.
"No!" You yell attempting to get up but the beanstalk grabs your leg making you trip.
"ShiT!" You say when Tsukishima drags you to him and takes his glasses. You groan as Tsukishima holds you by the leg as he puts on his glasses with on.
"Now." he says adjusting his glasses, making you shiver. "What were you doing watching me sleep."
You begin to sweat, trying to hold back laughter. You quickly take out your phone and take a picture. "Got to go!" You say running out.
"A picture?..." Tsukishima's eyes widen in realization. "Yamaguchi... hand me your phone."
-
You quickly run into Nekoma's room to avoid Tsukishima, who you know by now has found out what you've done.
"(Name)-chan?" Kenma says looking up from his game. "What are you doing in here?"
"Uhm.... running from Beanstalk?..." You fiddle with your fingers.
"What did you do now?"
"I may or may not have drawn on his face while he was sleeping and he may or may not be after me soon." You smile sheepishly.
"Well we'll help you hide then." Misawa says closing the door smiling.
"Thank you--"
"(NAME) SHIMIZU WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU." A voice echos.
"Shit!"
"Uh... come into my bed and pretend to sleep." Misawa motions to his futon.
You mouth a thank you and hide under the covers. Misawa smiles and then turns to the opening door.
"Where is she?" Tsukishima says with marks all over his face.
"Who? and what happened to you?" Misawa smirks putting his hands in his pockets.
"I'm sure you know who I'm talking about. I checked every single other classroom so she must be here." Tsukishima walks in.
"Woah dude she isn't here so you can go."
"I can just look around can't I?"
"Misawa." Kuroo comes in the door. "Of course Tsukki can come in right?"
Misawa's eyes narrow but then soften. "Of course.... I'm just going to go to bed."
Your eyes widen.
'What?????'
Misawa climbs into the futon with you. Your faces only inches apart.
"What are you doing?" You whisper.
"Saving you from the beanstalk." He whispers smiling.
Your face heats up. Your mouth stays shut but words keep repeating in your minds.
'Too close. Too close. Too close. Too close. Too close.'
"I should uh... go" You whisper, getting ready to get up.
"Wait no." Misawa grabs your wrist. "I thought you wanted to get away from Tsukishima?"
"Yeah but..."
Suddenly the blanket is ripped off. Tsukishima's eyes land on you curled up next to Misawa, who is holding your wrist. You break out of Misawa's hold and stand up. The other Nekoma players 'ooooh'.
"I.... I'm going to go." You quickly run pass Tsukishima and get to the manager's room nervously.
Tsukishima looks back at you then turns to Misawa. "She wasn't here you said?"
Misawa smirks. "I guess I saw wrong."
Misawa takes the blanket out of Tsukishima's hand and lies down. "See you later... kitty."

The Good Crash: An Oral History of the Post-Scarcity Collapse
"Don't we all feel, deep down, that we deserve the apocalypse?" APRIL, 2028—Global capitalism has collapsed. America has sealed itself off from the outside world, and inside its borders, a revolution rages. All it took was one incredible little machine. That machine turned into two, then four, then eight... like a virus, the replicators spread. As a work of oral history, The Good Crash features over 50 interviews with key witnesses to the events of 2027. The text is rendered in the words used by the interviewees themselves, with light editing for clarity and concision. As such, the book contains language and themes that are not appropriate for children.By capturing the voices to the people at the very root of the revolution, journalist and historian R. Vondersnitch has traced the origins and aftermath of the replicators' rapid spread. Crucially, the book also includes perspectives and testimony from those who attempted to stop the spread of the reps. "Some of these are heroes, too, in their own ways," the author writes in the book's introductory note.

The Orb Weaver Chronicles
"The Orb Weaver Chronicles contains several major and unique events that may or may not unknowingly intertwines with one another. The author of these chronicles is unknown, although some have hinted at the symbolism behind its name..." - Year unknown, location unknown 9 February 2022 Update: Welcome to the companion short story compilation of my novel trilogy The Shadow Paradigm. This compilation features prequels, sidequels and sequels to the novel's major plotline, as well as featuring a wide range of characters, new and recurring. Prior knowledge of the novel is not necessary as the Orb Weaver Chronicles' short stories are standalone. Once called The Arkesyyan Chronicles, I've deleted quite a few of its old stories. Due to the new avenue and revision, oriented toward more mystery and film-noir ambience, that I took my stories into, I've removed all aliens and overly sci-fi aspects of the whole TSP lineup, so I've updated the Orb Weaver Chronicles accordingly. I hope you enjoy them, and in time, a revised version will also be updated.

The Errant Otherworlder Watanabe
“In this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death, taxes and trucks whom transport men to other worlds.” Meet our titular protagonist Haruto Watanabe, a man who has all the markings of a good protagonist for a generic portal fantasy story. As an overworked office worker, to escape from the grips of crippling capitalist alienation, he had taken up to reading many stories where young men like him were transported to other worlds and enjoyed their lives at a most leisurely pace. Armed with genre-awareness and (what he believes to be) a marketable personality which would make him an easy audience self-insert, he longed for the day the isekai express would take him to his long-awaited adventure to another world. When the fateful day came, where the fair yet harsh mistress that is the fabled truck took Watanabe on one last date to the other side, he was most ready to escape his previous life, ready to embark on an errant so great he’d be most overpowered, his heroics so exceptional and his harem so vast that they would barely fit ten or twenty volumes of an overly long novel made by a desperate author looking for quick cash. Lo and behold however, Watanabe instead found himself in a low fantasy world which lacked severely in the department of any game-like systems, cheat skills or easily charmed damsels in distress. In a setting so antithetical to his established genre savviness or any attempts at power fantasy, how will a man like Watanabe, lacking in strength, wits and courage, manage to survive in a land most foreign to him? This is my first time trying to share to the wider world what I’ve written, and I hope you’ll enjoy reading the errantry of Watanabe as much as I enjoy writing about them. I'll be posting one chapter per week on Sundays, along with extra chapters whenever I get the chance to write more than usual.
