A door opens as your fist is ready to knock. A tall beanstalk gives you a cold glare as you stand awkwardly with your fist out. You quickly put your arm to your side, realizing the door was already opened for you.
You and the middle blocker give each other a long stare before Tsukishima finally interrupts the silence. "Come on in."
You turn your head to him sassily as you step into the door way, "Pardon the intrusion."
You take a look around as Tsukishima closes the door behind you. Tsukshima walks in front of you, leading you upstairs before you have a good chance to take a look around. "Hey Hey I want to look around--"
"No." Tsukishima pushes you up upstairs as you struggle to go down the stairs.
'This stupid small body of mine' you think pouting as you make it upstairs.
"You're not going to die stop complaining" Tsukishima says coldly as you continue to pout.
"Stupid beanstalk." You say crossing your arms while entering his room.
You take your time to settle in and you take a look around Tsukishima's room. Your eyes move to his shelf which has a row of different dinosaur figurines which lie next to a poster of a chibi dinosaur.
"Awww beanstalk lovessss dinosaurssss" You tease while you pick up the figurine of a T-Rex.
Anger crosses over Tsukishima's face as you continue to touch his precious dinosaurs. He hits a notebook on your head. "Oi shortstock, hands off" He gives you a cold stare as you slowly put down his dinos.
"Fine. Fine," you say putting the figurines back into place. Your eyes light up as you glance over to his bed. A Dino plush lying neatly next to Tsukishima's pillow. "AWW ITS SO CUTE" You swoon.
"How would you know what cute is look at yourself," Tsukishima smirks while adjusting his glasses.
Your mouth hangs open, offended. "Its good to know you actually have a soft side," You hold the plush in your arms. "Did you hear that Dino-san? Beanstalk might actually have a heart!"

"His name is Ryuu..." Tsukishima mumbles.
You start bursting out into laughter. "HAAHA You even named him? Seriously? Ryuu? Like Kyouryuu?" You fall on his bed in laughter as a dark aura forms around. (
"Shut up Shortie we need to work on the project," Tsukishima says snatching Ryuu out of your hands as your laughter dials down.
"Hai hai." you get up and take out your notebook and stare at it.
Tsukishima waves his hand in front of your face. "Are you going to do anything or will I have to do all the work."
Sweat rolls down your face as you turn to Tsukishima like a robot. "U-Uh... what is the project about?..."
"HUH?" He says loudly. "Are you really that stupid?" he groans.
"Sh-Shut up! I was daydreaming in class... I don't remember what Sensei said...." You play with your fingers.
"You know you really are the most useless person ever," Tsukishima snatches your notebook out of your hands and opens the notebook. "Wait beanstalk don't open it--" you say nervously as he takes a look at your "notes from class".
Drawings are scribbled all over where your notes from class are supposed to be. You cover your face in embarrassment as Tsukishima stares at the pages. "I know...." you say through your covered face.
"You're helpless Shortie," Tsukishima chuckles as he flips through your doodles. "What is this supposed to be?" he starts laughing as your embarrassment turns to anger.
"Why you--" you say reaching for your notebook as Tsukishima raises his hand to where you can't reach. You make an attempt to jump but it only causes Tsukishima to raise his hand even higher. "You stupid tall piece of shi--" you say jumping up on to the beanstalk's bed reaching for the book.
The door opens as a man with hair similar hair to Tsukishima enters the room. "Nii-chan..." Tsukishima says freezing, giving you the chance to take the notebook out of his hand.

"Nii-chan??" You say after taking back your doodles.
—
"Nice to meet you (Name)-chan! I'm Kei's older brother Akiteru!" Tsukishima's brother smiles and gives you a snack.
"Ohhh!" Your face lights up. "Beanstalk has a brother!"
"So are you guys friends?" Akiteru asks.
"Please, I could never be friends with someone this stupid," Tsukishima interrupts.
"Yeah and I could never be friends with a Dino dork." You say back.
"Well at least I'm getting good grades. How did you even get into 1-4?" He saying snickering.
"I do get good grades"
"Says the person who fell asleep last class,"
"Shut up beanstalk! I was busy the night before!"
"With what? Watching TV?"
"N-No! I was doing my work!"
"I didn't even know you could do such a thing!"
"I was helping Kiyoko with the volleyball club!"
"
You and Tsukishima continue to argue as Akiteru looks at both of you. A sly grin forms on his face, "Trust me by the end of the year you two will be very close." Tsukishima and you shoot Akiteru a death glare which makes a chill go down his spine. Akiteru gets up quickly and excuses himself from his brother's room.
—
"Finally we finished!" You say stretching.
"I did all the work Shortie," Tsukishima starts putting his books away.
"Excuse me? Who was the one who practically wrote the whole script?"
"Whatever. Don't you have to go home?" he asks avoiding the recent conversation.
"Oh right I do... I'll see you at volleyball tomorrow then ok--" your phone starts buzzing.
You take your phone out and look at the contact. You happily answer the call.
"Kenma-kun?" You say.
"Hi (Name)-chan... I just wanted to call to check up on how you're doing" Kenma says quietly.
"Aw you don't need to do that Kenma-kun. I'm fine I just finished a project with beanstalk."
"Oh Tsukishima-kun? Say hi for me. I have to get going anyways."
"Oh okay! I'll call you tomorrow okay?" You say.
"Ok! Talk to you tomorrow."
Tsukishima looks at you annoyed. You turn to him sticking your tongue out. "I'll be leaving now," You flip your hair at Tsukishima and you leave for home.
--
"Onee-chan! I'm home!" You say taking off your shoes and putting on your house slippers.
"Welcome home (Name)-chan! I'm almost done making dinner. Could you set the table?" Kiyoko calls from the kitchen.
You set the table as Kiyoko finishes up on her cooking. "How did your project turn out?" your sister says, setting food on the table.
"I think it'll turn out fine when me and beanstalk present it," You grab your chopsticks. "Thanks for the food."
"(Name)-chan I've been meaning to ask... Why do you and Tsukishima-kun not get along?" Kiyoko asks taking a bite of her food.
"Because he's a stupid tall freak," You say stubbornly taking a bite of your food.
"Why don't you two try to get along," She asks.
"No thanks. He's getting on my nerves just by being around," You say.
"Ok ok," Kiyoko says staying off the topic.
You play with your food as you think about what your sister said. What if you did get along with Tsukishima? You laugh at your thoughts.
Theres no way that could happen.

Choosing a college when your family is struggling can be difficult, but it isn’t supposed to be world ending. And the falling meteor is seriously limiting Matt’s options. Now in the aftermath, his home city is locked down by a mysterious dome, corporations are looking to monopolize a wealth of new untapped resources, and people are suddenly developing powers via a system that seems to have borderline sinister intentions. In the chaos, he decides to stick to what he knows: stay out of the spotlight, grind, and survive. Watch as Matt is dragged into a dark LITRPG set in the real world, where the price of failure is death, and the prize for winning is beyond his wildest dreams. ++++++++++++++++++ There’s a couple big influences here: Solo-Leveling, Squid Game, and Code Geass. If you enjoy LITRPG stories with morally gray characters, high stakes, and smart protagonists who start weak and eventually become powerful in a unique way, you’ll probably find something to like. But be forewarned. It won’t be easy. I'll be writing this fast, so keep in mind there's likely to be typos that we'll correct as we go. Developmental Editing by Lev.

War Beast
The future is savage. Jenny Summer is a news reporter who hates her job. One day, an accident sends her through a time portal, straight into the distant future. A future of warring Beastmen tribes, deadly monsters, and magic from beyond the imagination. When the savage world is full of many threats, how will the average modern-day girl survive? Author's Note: This is a rewrite of my fiction with the original title. Instead of changing my chapters in my other draft, I made a copy with a different beginning and a few new chapters. The beginning will move straight to the fantasy world like most Isekai light novels. As usual, each chapter will go between 500 and 2,000 words. I deleted the other draft since this draft will be my focus. Enjoy and let me know what you think of this new draft. There may also be grammar and spelling errors too. This series is still in development.
