Hikaru's Pov
It has been 3 days since the date with _F/N_. It's Tuesday. She hasn't come to school, and the whole Host Club is worried. I can't say who is worrying more. All I can say is I can't think straight. I'm extremely worried about her. I sit on one of the couches in the club room. I watch as everyone scrambles around naming different things that could've happened to _F/N_. That's when the door flies open. We all turn to see! Luffy..... What are you doing here? "Umm, wait what did I come her for again?" *sweat drops* how are we supposed to know that? ".... That's right! I came to tell you
_F/N_ is leaving to go to Italy for a whole week." Wait.. She's leaving... "Not forever, she is visiting her cousins." Ok, so why are you telling us this? "Well, one Nami threatened to throw all the meat away. Also, just in case you guys wanted to go with." I thought
_F/N_ was still angry about the date. "Nope." Wait what? *Zoro walks in* "Luffy I thought I told you to hurry this up. We need to hurry back to the mansion so
_F/N_ can leave." She's leaving now! "Yep, so if you're coming you better hurry." The host club looks at each other. "LET'S GO TO ITALY!"
*Time skip to the car*
Haruhi's Pov
Wait a minute here... When did I agree to come with? "You didn't but because you're apart of the Host club you have too." *sweat drops* I don't have a passport though... "Don't worry miss. We've already taken care of that." I turn to notice a tall dark haired lady. A very pretty one at that. If I may ask, who are you? "My name is Robin, I'm very sorry for not introducing myself earlier. I'm miss _L/N_'s librarian but I also plan her trips and parties." I see.. So you got me a passport? "Of course, anything for my mistress." ? Damn rich people... "It seems we have arrived." We exit the car and walk into the large mansion. It's such a beautiful sight. In the front there were beautiful roses and lilies. The stairs were made of marble and it had a Italian style. At least I think it was. "Welcome Ouran High school's famous Host Club. My name is Sebastian! My name is Logan! We're _F/N_~chan's twin butlers." Twin butlers...? "Yep! We'll now escort you to the main hall." We follow closely behind the twins. Sebastian and Logan looked a lot alike. Sebastian's slightly taller and more mature. Whereas Logan was immature and slightly shorter. "So where's _F/N_?" "Hikaru shhh!" I'm curious about that to actually. That's when we all heard footsteps coming towards the room we just walked in. "There's our mistress. Mistress! You look beautiful."

*Normal Pov*
I walk into the main hall to notice the host club. I knew they were going to come, but little did I know Logan and Sebastian were escorting them. What are you two doing! "Mistress you look wonderful!" Don't try acting cute. You two are supposed to be in Italy already. "We switched places with Sanji and Usopp. They left to Italy with your parents so we could stay here with you mistress." Wha- ... Oh well. Will you two grab my bags up stairs. I'll escort the host club to the car. "Yes miss!" The two of them are gone in an instant. I turn around to face the Host club. As I do Tamaki, Kouru, and Honey~sempai tackled me to the ground. "_F/N_~Chan why didn't you come to school?" Ah wai- "Were you sick?" "Was it our fault?" No, I just had some stuff to finish here at home. I'm sorry I didn't tell you guys."so you're not angry at us?..." The room got quiet. I sit up to look at Hikaru. He had such a sad look on his face. No I'm not angry at all. As soon as these words reach him, he runs to me holding me close. He then whispers something to me so no one can hear but me. "Don't worry me like that ever again." I won't...

Sorcery in Boston
The timid daughter of some of the greatest spellcasters ever to have lived has found herself in another world, courtesy of magic gone awry. In Boston, Massachusetts, in the year 1935, she finds some kind souls in a hard era. In the heart of the Great Depression, as war looms around the corner, she seeks to find her place, and must come to terms with both who she is and what she truly desires. Author's Notes: Release Note: I recently realized what the hold up is. My current mental state is not compatible with the planned ending. If I wrote the ending according to what currently feels right, it will be a wretched, cruel ending that feels monstrously unfair and invalidates the work of the various characters... because that's how my life feels at the moment. The planned ending is coming out hollow and awkward, no matter how I write it, and so I've been bashing my head. I will finish it, once I manage to either brute force something decent out, or once my head gets screwed on straight. Audience: This story is not for young children - it contains some profanity, sexual content, violence, gore, and significant adult themes. Most of these are handled delicately enough not to upset teens or adults (hopefully), hence the lack of relevant tags, but it is nonetheless unsuitable for youth. It's fairly slow paced, and focused on the development of very human, very flawed individuals. Length / Completion Estimates: The outline currently involves two books. Book 1 is expected to be done with Chapter 43. It'll probably be completely finished by sometime in March of this year. I expect to move on to the far-more-lighthearted Of Gods and Dungeons (currently in progress / on hiatus). Afterwards, I may decide to redo Book 1, or write Book 2, or actually start sharing the story most dear to me, that I've been working on for several years now. Draft 1: Please be aware that this is first draft material. I do intend to come back to do a second draft after the story is complete. If anyone notices any issues whatsoever with the story, please let me know (pm, etc) so that I can improve the second draft. Writer's Pledge: I've taken the Writer's Pledge, meaning I'm commiting to completing this story. I'm a proud member of WriTE, a group dedicated to finishing stories. It will be done! Behind the Scenes notes: This picture was commissioned from an inked artist by the name of DanP. Up until the time of the protagonist's arrival, history has proceeded as before. Some places and characters have been borrowed from wikipedia entries of interesting figures from the time. I will make note in the chapter comments when such things come up. Naturally, I've taken a great deal of liberty with them. In interest of respecting individuals, I've either attempted to portray them as accurately as possible, or modified them sufficiently enough that they're simply an inspiration, instead of a real portrayal. I've attempted to be as accurate to the era as possible, but I'm not a historian. If you're aware of inaccuracies, please, bring them to my attention so that I can correct them.

A (Not So) Simple Fetch Quest
Oh great hero! The evil Demon Lord has once again arisen to terrorise our lands, and we have summoned you to save our people! No, we don't want you to fight the demon lord! Of course not; we're the good guys! What sort of good guys kidnap people from other worlds and force them to take part in wars that have nothing to do with them? That would just be plain evil! We'd be no better than the demons! Katie, after her summoning by an excessively loud mage suddenly takes an unexpected twist, is sent off on a simple fetch quest, with a promise that she'll be back home in five minutes at most. She doesn't even need to leave the building. Alas, when a goddess' blessing causes her wish for an actual adventure to be taken rather more literally than she expected, she finds herself lost in a dark cave, far away from the sword she was supposed to acquire and far too close to a population of giant bugs. Still, at least she wished her life wasn't in any danger. Among other things. Be careful what you wish for. You might just get it. This is a dark litRPG adventure, both in terms of Katie accidentally wishing all the lights out, and also in that she loses as often as she wins, often with horrific and disturbing consequences. Luckily, Katie isn’t the sort of person to let a mere grizzly death or two get her down, and is prepared to try, try and try again to get her hands on the holy sword and finally complete her ‘simple’ fetch quest. Or perhaps—with a few resistance skills under her nightie—she might even come to enjoy losing. Not that she’d ever consider forgoing revenge, even if she did. I’ve ticked all the content warning checkboxes for this one. There’s no explicit sexual content, but there are enough references to justify the warning. Profanity happens rarely, but Katie isn’t averse to swearing when she gets particularly angry. As for gore/trauma, it doesn’t get much worse than the first few chapters, but there will be occasional chapters that have extra content warnings.

Luck Lockyer
Luck Lockyer was the type of man to smirk in the dark, the expression not for anyone but himself. One of perpetual amusement. The bright side of things were hard to find in the shade yet his amber eyes were always searching. The smirk was his default, he knew it, his friends knew it, his family knew it. It was his most natural state. But the death of everyone close to you can affect a downwards curve on the mouths of even the most stoic people. Without purpose, without anyone to do the job for, Luck Lockyer found himself inside an empty forgotten church. The perpetual smirk on his face had slipped to a thin line, his scar more noticeable now than ever before. His amber eyes, the windows to his soul, dull and lifeless. To anyone who knew him, it was the clothing that gave away his mental state, denim pants and a plain black t-shirt. If that wasn't enough, the tears running down his face certainly would, the echoing sobs of a broken man rang across the rundown church. It was on a whim, but Luck Lockyer prayed, he prayed for many things, for death, revenge, friends, but the one prayer dominating his thoughts, a second chance for his family. That was all he wanted. Simple. It was then, on the outskirts of a polluted city, in an abondoned lot, in a forgotten church that Luck Lockyer, the Devil of the Cards, the Bloodless Hand, the Amber Demon, the Broken, was answered by a being from another world and one from his. *found the picture online

Our hero is no transmigrated human, but a genuine monster, spawned from the rich mana veins running beneath a fungal expanse. (Probably not). Please join them as they seek answers to life's big questions: Is that edible? If so, how do I kill it? And can I get my kin to do most of the work?
