Taehyung:- So, you chose the second one? Okay, How about we make a new contract now?

Y/n:- You really are excited about this. Aren't you? Do you enjoy hurting me that much? Is this fun to you?

Taehyung:- It is. You don't even have any idea about how much I'm enjoying this.

Y/n:- I hate you. I wish you never came into our life.

Taehyung:- Aww, are you going to cry now? Did I break your little heart?

Y/n:- No! I'm done crying over you. I don't care anymore and I really mean it.

Tears welled up in her eyes and spilled down her cheeks as she told him that.

Taehyung:- Really? But your eyes are telling a different story.

He said and scoffed at her.

Y/n was embarrased walking through the office hearing all the employees badmouth her but luckily for her, Jungkook and Se Young never left her side.

Employee 1:- Look at her acting all innocent. I'm sure she is also evil just like her brother.

Employee 2:- She isn't even ashamed to show herself in public after what happened.

Se Young:- Don't pay attention to it, Y/n. They just don't have anything interesting to do.

Y/n:- It's fine, I'm not hurt.

Taehyung entered putting an end to all the whispers and she followed him to his cabin with a distressed mind.

Taehyung:- Get me the schedule.

Y/n:- Here.

Taehyung:- Did you check my emails?

Y/n:- I did.

To her surprise, he placed a

bunch of files in front of her.

Taehyung:- I want you to write the report of these files and have it submitted on my table today itself.

Y/n:- But this is a lot-

Taehyung:- Are you going back on your words? I thought you'll do anything I say.

Y/n:- I will- but I need more time. At least two days.

Taehyung:- Twenty four hours. That's the only time you get.

Y/n:- But-

Taehyung:- Start writing.

Why is he this petty? Is this his way of torturing me? Whatever, I don't care. I'll complete this within the stipulated time and shove it in his face. Kim Taehyung, I won't give you the satisfaction of seeing me lose.

She strained herself in writing the report without even taking a single break and also skipped her lunch.

Hours passed by, still she couldn't complete half of it. There were still a lot of files left at her desk.

Se Young:- Y/n-ah, It's time. Aren't you leaving?

Y/n:- What? It's already time? I still have a lot. You both go ahead. I'll just work overtime.

Jungkook:- You haven't eaten anything today and you want to work overtime too?

Se Young:- I get it that he's mad at you because of Ms. Naeun's death but how could he? He's such a-

Taehyung:- Such a what?

Se Young:- Ah- That's-I- We'll leave.

She said and fled from there grabbing Jungkook by his arm.

Taehyung shifted his gaze to Y/n and gave her a cold stare. His expressions were incomprehensible for her which invoked a sense of discomfort inside her and she quickly looked away as she continued writing.

Taehyung:- Still not finished?

Y/n:- I told you it's too much, I still have a lot more.

Taehyung:- Okay. Keep working, then. I'm leaving.

Y/n:- You're leaving?

Taehyung:- Of course. You think I'll wait for you?

Y/n:- I mean- how will I go home? You told me that the neighborhood here isn't safe.

Taehyung:- It's not my business to look after you neither do I care if anything happens to you.

He left saying that and she watched him as he leave through the door. His words hurt her deeply just like he wanted them to.

Finally, she completed writing the report but it was already way past midnight. She wanted to call Taehyung but she hesitated considering the way he's been acting. After struggling a lot, She took a bus and finally managed to reach home.

Taehyung:- What on earth is this?

Y/n:- That's the report I wrote.

Taehyung:- This is nothing but trash.

He crumbled the report and threw it right in the trash can.

Y/n:- What the hell is your problem? Do you know much time it took me to complete that? How could you just toss it like that?

Taehyung:- You! You are my problem. I gave you an extra day and you couldn't do better than this?

Y/n:- You gave me tons of files and just one day to complete. I tried to do my best but-

Taehyung:- This is your best? You are good for nothing.

Y/n:- Then, go ahead and fire me.

Taehyung:- Backing off this easily? You're no fun, Y/n.

She clenched her fist so tightly as to prevent herself from slapping him which didn't go unnoticed by him.

Y/n:- You know what? I quit. I don't want to work here anymore.

Taehyung:- I wouldn't say that if I were you. Did you forget about our agreement?

If you fail to put up with my orders, your brother will spend rest of his life behind the bars? You don't want that. Do you?

Y/n:- Until when? Until when are you going to do this?

Taehyung:- Six months. This is nothing compared to the five years I suffered. But I promise you to make this six months a living hell for you.

Y/n:- You'll have Oppa released after six months right? I don't know if I can trust you anymore.

Taehyung:- I never go back on my word. Now, be a good girl and rewrite this report.

After some long exhausting hours of work, she managed to finish it.

Y/n:- Here, I completed it.

He went through it and to his disappointment, he couldn't find any fault in that.

Taehyung:- This one is much better. Okay, you can leave.

Y/n:- We're going to the same place anyway. I'm coming with you.

Taehyung:- And who said you can do that?

Namjoon:- I did.

Taehyung:- Hyung? What are you doing here?

Namjoon:- Did you forget? I work here too. Taehyung, have you been overworking Y/n?

Taehyung:- Did she tell you that?

Namjoon:- You didn't answer my question.

Taehyung:- I didn't. She couldn't complete her work in assigned time, so-

Namjoon:- Taehyung-ah, I know you're angry at Chanyeol but-

Taehyung:- I'm not having this discussion again, Hyung.

Namjoon:- Fine, you're taking her along with you. Look how the rain is pouring down and it'll be difficult for her to catch a bus at this hour.

He replied in an annoyed tone.

He was angry at her like always and that resulted in him speeding the car away.

Y/n:- Slow down, Tae, Are you going to get us killed? This is not some racing track.

Taehyung:- Shut your mouth. You have some nerve complaining to hyung, Park Y/n.

Y/n:- What? I didn't tell him anything. It's not like he's blind, He works there too and he might have seen you ordering me around.

Taehyung:- Yeah, right. As if I'll believe you.

Y/n:- Tae, please slow down or we'll definitely die.

Taehyung:- Let's die, so that your murderer of a brother can finally be at peace.

Y/n:- Tae, Let's talk this out. Okay?

He got out and pulled her out of the car.

Y/n:- Tae, please. P- Please don't leave me here. I'm terrible at directions, you know it too, right? I-I get l-lost easily.

He turned a deaf ear to her pleadings and sped away the car abandoning her in the torrential rain.

Kai:- Why do you both brother and sister ask only this to me?

Kai:- Well, he did. But I need to find some evidence to prove that. That's the only we can-

His mind was turbulent worrying about the worst-case scenario that could happen.

A sudden ringing in the doorbell put an end to his thoughts and he rushed to get the door in a state of hurry hoping that it would be her.

Taehyung:- You made it back? Your sense of direction got better, I guess.

She didn't reply instead shot him an angry look and made her way inside.

Taehyung:- Wow, Y/n. You're drenched in the rain.

Y/n:- Yes. I hope you're happy now.

She answered, shivering in the cold.

Taehyung:- Very much.

Y/n:- At this point, I don't even know who you are. You are not the Tae I know.

Taehyung:- True. I'm not your Tae anymore. So, you better deal with it.
