Officer Jung :- I'm officer Jung Hoseok and I'm entrusted with the murder case of Ms. Son Na Eun and I hope everyone present here will co-operate with me to find the killer.

Officer Jung declared to all the employees of Kim corporation.

Most of them gave their statements about Naeun being this or that which didn't help the investigation.

Officer Jung:- Mr. Kim, May I talk to you?

Taehyung:- Please.

Officer Jung:- I wanted to ask you about your statement.

Officer Jung:- So, you're saying that you saw Mr. Park stabbing?

Taehyung:- I didn't see him stabbing.

Officer Jung:- But you said he killed her.

Taehyung:- He did. Why else would he be there in my cabin at that time?

Officer:- The last person Ms. Son called was you. May I know why?

Taehyung:- She asked me to meet her in my cabin.

Officer Jung:- For what purpose?

The next person for interrogation was Chanyeol.

Officer Jung:- Mr. Park Chanyeol, The prime suspect of this case.

Officer Jung:- Why were you at the cabin yesterday?

Chanyeol handed his phone over to the officer.

Officer Jung:- Mr. Han, Send this to the forensic lab.

Officer Jung:- Okay Mr. Park, What's your relationship with Mr. Kim Taehyung.

Chanyeol:- My sister's husband.

Officer Jung:- Just that?

Chanyeol:- W-we were friends.

Officer Jung:- Were friends? I see.

Officer Jung:- And how do you know Ms. Naeun?

Chanyeol :- I don't know her. I saw her for the first time yesterday.

Officer Jung:- So, you went there to meet an anonymous caller and found Ms. Son dying?

Officer Jung:- Okay Mr. Park, you may leave now.

Chanyeol went out of the room without bothering to spare a glance to anyone.

Officer Jung:- Officer Han, This case seems so complicated.

Officer Han:- Indeed it is.

Officer Jung:- What about the CCTV?

Officer Han:- The visuals have been tampered.

Officer Jung:- Send that to our team and ask them to work on it.

Officer Han:- Will do.

Officer Jung:- Who is the next one?

Officer Han:- Kim Y/n, Wife of Kim Taehyung and sister of Park Chanyeol.

Officer Jung:- Ask her to come in.

Officer Jung:- Mrs. Kim, you seem nervous.

Y/n:- This is the first time I'm-

Officer Jung:- Okay Okay, I understand. You don't have to worry, just answer our questions.

Officer Jung:- Did your husband have any other relation with the deceased apart from being best friends?

Y/n:- No! They are just good friends.

Officer Jung:- I'm sorry for asking these questions but you have to know this is a part of our investigation.

Y/n:- I understand.

Officer Jung:- Your brother and husband aren't in a good relationship with each other? What's the reason?

Y/n:- Tae has been that way since his parents' death. He shut everyone out of his life since that incident. That's why they aren't friends anymore.

Officer Jung:- How did his parents die?

Y/n:- Uh- Accident.

Officer Jung:- Were you close with Ms. Naeun?

Y/n:- Uh, We weren't that close.

Officer Jung:- Okay, Mrs. Kim Thanks for co-operating.

Y/n came out of the interrogation room and saw Taehyung and Chanyeol having a fight.

Chanyeol:- Can't you understand Taehyung? I have been framed. What will I even gain from killing her?

Taehyung:- You're a f*cking psychopath who enjoys killing innocent people.

She rushed to stop Taehyung from punching him.

Y/n:- Tae, Please.

Taehyung:- Get the hell away from me, Y/n or you'll get hurt.

Y/n:- I'd rather get hurt than see you both fight like this. Let's just go, Tae. Please.

She stopped him from fighting and dragged him away from there clinging tightly to his arm.

Chanyeol:- Eun Bin, You need to stay away from here.

Eun Bin:- O-oppa? Did you kill her?

Chanyeol:- What? Do you really think I'll do that?

Eun Bin:- But wh-

Chanyeol:- Listen Eun Bin, Kai will come to get you. He'll take you to a safer place. Just live there until I sort everything out.

Eun Bin:- What is it, Oppa? You're scaring me.

Chanyeol:- It's nothing, Eun Bin-ah, Don't worry. Everything will be fine. Oppa will make sure of that.

He pulled her into a warm embrace and she responded to it by hugging him tighter.

Taehyung didn't utter a single word to Y/n after the incident and she also stayed away from him considering his mental state.

Suddenly the calling bell rang and it was none other than Chanyeol.

Chanyeol was panting heavily and he approached Taehyung.

Taehyung:- PARK CHANYEOL, HOW DARE YOU COME HERE?

Chanyeol:- Listen, Taehyung. I just want to-

Taehyung:- SHUT IT! You really want to die? Huh?

Chanyeol:- Taehyung, I know who killed her. Just hear me out. I want you to listen to what I'm telling. Please, Taehyung. Please believe me.

Taehyung:- You think I'll believe you? Leave. Just get out of my sight.

Y/n:- O-Oppa? What are you doing here?

Chanyeol:- Taehyu-

Taehyung:- You don't want to huh?

His anger was getting the best of him and he quickly grabbed the knife placed on the table and pointed it towards Y/n's neck.

Y/n:- W-What are you doing, Tae?

Taehyung:- You want me to slit her throat?

Chanyeol:- Are you crazy, Taehyung? Leave her.

He tightened his grip on her neck and she yelped out in pain.

Y/n:- T-tae, leave me. I-I can't breathe.

Chanyeol:- Leave her, Taehyung. I'm sorry, I won't bother you again. Please leave her.

Taehyung:- Turn yourself in and pay for your crimes if you want your sister to live or else I'll kill her just like you killed Naeun.

Chanyeol:- But-

Taehyung:- Say one more word and you'll see blood dripping out of her neck.

Chanyeol:- F-fine, fine. I'll confess. Please leave her.

Y/n:- No, Oppa. You can't do that. Tae, just stop this, please.

Taehyung:- Shut your mouth, Y/n. or I won't hesitate to slit your throat.

Chanyeol:- Please don't hurt her, I'll confess. Please, Taehyung.

Taehyung:- What are you waiting for then? Go and turn yourself in. I'm warning you that I'll definitely kill her if you don't confess.

Chanyeol went out of the house and Taehyung freed her from his grip.

She couldn't keep her balance and fell to the ground.

Her breathing was heavy thinking of the incident occurred earlier. The person she loved with all her heart just threatened to kill her. After everything they have been through, he didn't even think twice before pointing a knife to her neck. Her heart just broke into a million pieces recalling that.

Officer Jung:- So, you're confessing that you killed Ms. Son Na Eun?

Chanyeol:- Yes. I did it.

Officer Jung:- What's with the sudden confession?

Chanyeol:- I deeply regret my actions.

Officer Jung:- That was fast. Why did you do it?

Chanyeol:- Personal reasons.

Officer Jung:- Well in that case, we'll have to arrest you.

After the trial Chanyeol was convicted of murder. On the other hand Taehyung's relationship with Y/n wasn't going well.

He neither spoke nor looked at her. Even though, she was convinced that her brother had nothing to do with the murder, she was incapable of getting him out.

Finally, she mustered up the courage and approached Taehyung to have a talk with him. If there was anyone who could get Chanyeol out of the jail, it would be Taehyung.

Y/n:- Tae, I need to talk to you.

Taehyung:- What is it you want now?

Y/n:- I-I feel like O-Oppa is innocent.

Taehyung:- Not this again. He is in the prison for a reason, Y/n.

Y/n:- He did it because you threatened him.

She raised her voice at him and he was absolutely not happy about that.

Taehyung:- Did you just-

Y/n:- Enough of this. Why are you doing this to us?

Taehyung:- I'm the bad guy now? Your brother is the one who is ruining my life.

Y/n:- You never gave him a chance to explain himself. Please get him out of there. I beg you.

Her eyes lighted with a glimmer of hope.

Taehyung:- I don't go back on my words but I do have a condition.

Y/n:- What is it?

Taehyung:- You'll have to suffer. How about dying by my hands? I should kill you just like he killed her, right?

Y/n:- Tae-

Taehyung:- No! That'll be too easy. Okay, let me make you my favourite toy. The one I'll break over and over again.

Y/n:- W-what do you mean?

Taehyung:- In simple words, put up with my tortures for few months, and I'll think of getting him out of there.

Y/n:- What nonsense are you spouting? Have you lost your mind?

Taehyung:- It's up to you to decide.

Y/n:- Haven't you tortured me enough? First you made my your revenge pawn and now you want me to suffer again? What exactly do you want from me?

Taehyung:- I want you to suffer for everything he did. You have to pay the price for your brother's misdeeds, Wifey.

Taehyung:- Too late for that now.

Y/n:- Will hurting me quench your thirst for revenge?

He answered without meeting her gaze.

Before he could complete the sentence, he received a tight slap from her which fueled his anger.

Y/n:- How can you stoop this low? I'm not some toy that you can play with. This is the limit. I've had enough of you and I can't take this anymore. Let's just end this mockery of a relationship.

Taehyung:- Fine. So, Let's just leave Chanyeol to rot in there and die. Right?

Y/n:- N-No, please. Please get him out of there. Just what do you want me to do?

Taehyung:- You have to pay for his crimes. I will make your suffer, Y/n and your loving brother will be so helpless seeing your state. You are his weakness and I'll use you to fulfill my vengeance.

Y/n:- You've gone craz-

Taehyung:- I was planning to drop my revenge but I guess he doesn't want me to. Okay, Y/n. You have two choice. One- you'll get divorce from me just like you want but Chanyeol will spend the rest of his life in prison and two- I'll get him out of the there after six months. But in this six months you'll live a miserable life here with me. So, What are you going to choose?
