Cora turned off her phone, her cheeks soaked with her own tears. This is all so fucked up. With Niki and Jared combined are like satan himself. That might be a little too far, but it's something close.

The only reason she blocked him was because she feels like she doesn't deserve him. He'll learn to hate her if she tells him what happened, but she can't bring herself to do it, so the best way is to block him, in Cora's mind.

If only they could go back, go back before both of their insecurities rose to the surface, but they can't.

Cora thinks she's done something terrible when in reality it wasn't her fault, it was her said to be best friend who assulted her, that's whose fault it was.

Speaking of the half devil, Jared tried to get in, but ultimately failed due to the stuff Cora packed against the door. He banged and banged, but eventually gave up. Cora assumed he went to one of his 'buddy's' house. She didn't want to see him or hear him or near him in anyway.

So she stayed in her bedroom, huddled up in a small ball on her bed, crying her worries away.

Wilbur watched all of his texts turn green as he sent them, a deep feeling of sorrow forming in his stomach. She blocked him. For no reason.

He doesn't know what she has accomplished because he'll do whatever it takes to fix this, whatever this is. He'll tweet at her, he'll make a stream about her, he'll dm her, he'll even fucking fly down to New york, just to have her talk to him. He's never felt so strongly about someone in such a short amount of time and he won't let it all go down the drain due to a little misunderstanding.

Cora laid down on her crumpled up bed and faced the ceiling, thinking up scenerios on what to do, but she came up empty.

She didn't know what was going to happen. She hated being alone, with no one to talk to, no one to text or be around. With Jared gone and her shutting out Wilbur, all she had was her own self tearing thoughts.

...

It's been atleast a week since Cora has blocked Wilbur. She hasn't gone outside in days and she still has stuff blocking the door, so Jared can't get in.

He's come by a few times, but gave up coming at all, knowing there was no way Cora was going to let him in.

As for Cora, she wasn't doing so well. Her own self hatred was breaking her down. She couldn't believe what she'd done. Wilbur did nothing, of course he did nothing and Cora had to ruin that. She had a mini panic attack every time, just thinking about the disgusting kiss.

She hopped up from her bed, her feet hitting the cold wooden floor and walked to her mirror. Her hair was in knots and didn't looked brushed, the bags under her eyes were growing after everyday. She looked sickly and pathetic.

She turned away from the mirror, grabbed comfortable clothes to change into and walked into her bathroom, turning on the steaming shower. She stripped her clothes off and stepped in, gasping when the boiling water hit her skin.

It was nice, though, the warm water always made her tired and she honestly needed to sleep.

She thoroughly washed her hair two times, shaved her legs and under arms, even washed her face which she rarely did. Clear skin? We barely know her.

She felt clean, tired, and most importantly numb. Cora just wanted to sleep. She didn't want to think or feel, she wanted to feel numb right now, and she was achieving her goal until a loud knock at the door.

Cora yelled "Hold on" and hopped out of the shower, changing into a new set of clothes and walked into the hallway.

"Hey, it's Eden! From the bar? I can go if it's a bad time, but I just wanted to check up on you." The girl shouted from outside the door. Cora wasn't expecting that.

"Oh it's fine! Just give me a second." Cora said, starting to move the stuff she pushed against the door and made a pathway, so she could open it.

When she opened the entryway, it was indeed the girl from the bar, standing there with all her glory. "Hi! I know it's probably weird I'm here and intruding, but I felt bad for not checking up sooner! I can go and come ba-"

Cora interrupted her, pulling her inside by Eden's arm. "Oh okay!" She giggled. "Sorry, it's great you came by. I haven't talked to anyone in weeks and my social skills are dissipating by the second."

Eden laughed, looking around at the somewhat small apartment and smiled at the interior. "You have a beautiful home!"

"Thank you, but can we leave? I haven't been outside in days. I'm starting to look like Ghostbur." Eden looked at her confused, but walked back out into the hallway. "Well, okay."

They ended up in a small coffee shop where Eden went to regularly and sat a table in the little corner. Eden got her small cup of coffee for free while Cora had to pay for hers. Now she knows pretty privilege exists.

"So what happened with that douche?"

Cora took a long sip of her coffee and trying to avoid the question, kinda feeling embarrassed about the situation. "I kinda haven't seen him. I barricaded myself in the apartment because I didn't want to talk to him."

Eden gave a little laugh and taking a sip of hers. "Sounds about right. When he called me over, I was just being nice. He looks like he would have sex with his cousin."

Cora thought about it for a minute and agreed. "You know what, he did go to prom with his cousin. I didn't know where they were for an hour or two." Eden spit out her hot coffee and started to laugh insanely. Cora looked around to the people now looking at them and back to Eden. "I'm dead serious." She dropped her smile and widened her eyes. "Just hearing that feels illegal." Cora nodded, agreeing with her and decided to laugh along, knowing it was a ridiculous assumption.

"So what is it with, you know, Jared?"

"Well, he's my bestie, but obviously a way too huge fan. We live with each other, but after the other night, I blocked myself in the apartment so he couldn't get in. I think I'm going to move out though. He's always tried to get with me, but I never thought he actually liked me. And I've never had feelings for him, actually there's this other guy-." Cora stopped to think. Technically there is no other guy anymore.

"Go on, I'm dying."

"No, nothing."

"Oh come on, apparently there's another guy."

Eden held her coffee mug like she was a white mom in the winter, sitting by the fire. "Alright fine, but it's complicated."

I've got all day."

"There's this guy who accidentally texted me a couple months ago. He's a complete dumbass, but I'm pretty sure I'm in love with him. It's all ruined, though."

"Hm, sounds familiar for some reason, but it obviously can't be over? You're in love with him, right? What happened?"

Cora squinted her eyes shut, simply cringing at her situation. "Alright, so I met up with him and his friends, but there was this girl there. I won't say any names, so let's call her bitch." Eden laughed at the name, but let Cora continue.

"So, Whore over here won a dating game in which my guy was the prize. He said they didn't have feelings for eachother, but he was obviously speaking only for himself. So when we met up, we all decided to go to a carnival which ended them going up to a ferris wheel by themselves. The next day, Whore decided to tell me that they kissed when she knew I liked him. So, I left. Running away when I'm not wanted is one of my best skills. Then a week later, the night that Jared basically assulted me, I found out they didn't kiss. So, I blocked him in hopes he would hate me. I couldn't bear what I did. I just couldn't tell him." Cora spit out like she was dying to speak about it with someone for days.

Eden was sat there, wide eyed, placing down her mug and hit Cora on the side of her head with her perfectly manicured hand. "OW" Cora said, grabbing the side of her head.

"I don't mean to be rude because we just met, but are you stupid? I don't blame you for anything except that last part. One, this said 'Whore' sounds like a huge pick me girl. The fact that she's trying to ruin the relationship is making me want to kick her ass. But Coraline? Can I call you Coraline?"

"That's not my na-"

"So, Coraline, you dumb fuck. Why'd you block him?? If he thinks, even for a second that it's your fault that you got assulted, then he is the same leveled of fucked up as Jared. Go to him and tell him. He'll understand."

"I can't necessarily go to him. He lives in a different country. The guy's a weirdo. He plays minecraft in front of an audience."

"Wait a second. He streams on twitch, I'm guessing?" Cora nods, opening her mouth to say something, but closed it to let her finish. "He lives in a different country and met up with his friends recently?" Now, she was just basically talking to herself more than Cora.

"Holy shit, is it Wilbur or George?" Cora's squinted her eyes at the girl. "Is it?" Cora slowly nodded, still confused on how she would know that. "Wilbur."

"Oh my god! My roomate is friends with all of them! I've seen all the tweets about you. This is crazy. It's such a small world. AND ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT NIKI? Wow, I thought she was so sweet. I was convinced I was in love with her."

Cora giggled at that. "Yeah, I am too, but she's like a bitch in secret. Wait who's your roomate?"

"Jonathan."

Cora thought for a second, but ultimately didn't know a Jonathan. Eden quickly saw her expression and corrected herself. "Jschlatt."

"Ohhhhh. Wow, it is a small damn worl-"

"Wait, so you blocked Wilbur? Schlatt has been complaining about Wilbur complaining about you. Honestly, I think he'll understand. He seems like a nice guy." Eden nodded while finishing her statement and finished her coffee off.

"Eden, I may be in love with you. There's this girl Caoimhe-"

"Omg, Dream's girlfriend?" Cora nodded, smiling that she knew and continued.

"Her, me, her roommate, Drew, and Patches, dream's cat, is running away together and I say you join us." Eden immediately agreed, standing up and reaching her hand out to Cora.

"Alright, let's get you home, so you can go mend your toxic relationship." Cora laughed, getting up and gladly, taking her hand.

The two wandered back to Cora's apartment talking about anything and everything. They both could already tell they were bound to be good friends.

When they made it back to the house, the door seemed to already be open. "I'm having de ja vu from when I was in London. Oh by the way, have you heard Olivia Rodrigo's new song-"

"Cora, this is a lose-lose situation. Either it's Jared inside or a literal criminal."

"Alright, Alright, but I've watched alot of criminal minds. We'll be fine." Cora dismissed, slowly walking through the entryway, her jaw dropping to see the sight inside.

"Wilbur?"
